Paige reached out and whacked the alarm clock, which was beeping incessantly.
“Why is my alarm going off on a Saturday?” she groaned. She sighed as she heard her sisters talking.
“Shut up!” she screamed silently. “Some people are trying to sleep!”
She heard Piper laugh. “Do you remember when you were about 4 and you really wanted to be a ‘big girl’ so you tried to convince grams to let you stay home alone? You kicked up such a tantrum when you weren’t allowed.”

Paige started listening to her sisters recalled the funny or stupid things that the other had done when they were little. She felt sad that her sisters couldn’t remember those moments with her. She wanted to be able to tease Piper about high school and Phoebe about her boyfriends.

As she was thinking this, a completely crazy idea came into Paige’s head. Paige grinned. No way. She’d never live it down. But it would be so much fun…

Piper and Phoebe looked up, startled, as the door burst open and Paige ran in. Paige jumped up on the bed and started bouncing.
“Morning Piper. Morning feebee,” Paige said in a little kidish voice. Phoebe and Piper looked at each other, then back to Paige.
“Paige, are you alright?” Piper asked cautiously.
Paige was trying her hardest not to crack up. “Yea mummy, I fine. Will wou make me a panca – cake for breakfast?” Paige said, trying to sound like she was stumbling over the words.
“Um, Paige, how old are you?” Phoebe asked her.
“I am – 5 years old.” Paige held up her hand like a little kid would do. She was just barely managing not to burst out laughing.
“Ok, sweety, you go downstairs and we’ll come down in a minute.”
“Ok,” Paige said happily, jumping off the bed and bounding out the room.

“Piper, what’s happened?” Phoebe asked.
“I have no idea. She thinks she’s 5! Do you think it’s magical?”
“I don’t know. Maybe she wished she was 5 and somehow it came true.”
“Well, we’d better go down.”

Piper and Phoebe made there way downstairs and saw Paige sitting at the table, eating toast and reading the newspaper. Piper and Phoebe stopped, turning to each other. Both looked confused.
“Um, morning Paige,” Phoebe said uncertainly. Paige turned.
“Morning guys,” she answered normally. “What?” she asked while her sisters stared at her. She felt a smile coming but held it back. “What, did I grow horns or something?”
“Um…” Piper said. “It’s just… Well… How old are you?”
Paige stared at her like she was crazy. Paige was very used to acting innocently and this was simple. “I’m 25, Piper. Don’t you know that by now?”
“B – But, what?” Phoebe stammered. Paige couldn’t stop the smile this time and turned away from her sisters so they couldn’t see the unconvincing look on her face.
Paige’s sisters glanced at each other as Paige turned to her sisters, innocent look back in place.
“Are you guys feeling alright?” she asked.
“Uh, I think Phoebe and I need to go upstairs for a bit,” Piper said.
“Wait,” Paige called. “Tell me what’s going on first.” As soon as the words were out of her mouth, Paige cursed herself. Why had she said that? She wanted them to leave so she could let out her amusement and triumph.
“No, we’ve got to go upstairs,” Phoebe told Paige. They went up the stairs, neither sister saying a word. Paige heard Piper’s door close and grinned. Fooled!

“Piper, what the hell is going on?” Phoebe asked her big sister, who was clearly as confused as Phoebe.
“I don’t know,” Piper answered. “Unless…”
“Unless what?”
“Unless Paige is playing tricks again.”
“Well, if she is, she bloody good at acting,” Phoebe said.
“Well, unless both of us are having the same hallucination, there no other reasonable explanation,” Piper said defeatedly.
“Yeah,” Phoebe said. She was quiet for a minute. “How about we go spy on her for a minute? She’ll have to say something if it was a joke.”
Piper grinned. “Ok.”

The two sisters crept downstairs and stopped where they could see Paige. She was still reading the newspaper but she was grinning.
“All that practise of pretending to mum and dad payed off,” she said softly. “And it was even easier because Piper and Phoebe are so gullible. They believed me.”

Piper and Phoebe looked at each other. They both had a ‘Gotcha’ look on their faces. Piper walked into the kitchen.
“Heya Paige,” she said cheerfully.
“Uh oh,” Paige thought. “I hope they didn’t hear that.”
“Hey Piper,” she answered. “Hey Pheebs.”
“Paige, you just came into my room and pretended you were a little kid, didn’t you?” Piper said confidently.
“Damn,” Paige thought. “No, why the hell would I do that?” she asked, looking as innocent as possible. Her sisters weren’t fooled at all.
“Paige?”
Paige sighed. “Piper, I did not just come into your room and pretend I was a five-year-old,” she said, looking back to the newspaper.
“Uh-huh,” Phoebe said triumphantly. “We didn’t say you were five. How did you guess that? Unless you already knew.”
Paige couldn’t hold back a small smile. Piper pounced on it immediately. “You’re smiling! You’re guilty!”
“Piper, I am smiling because I am thinking that I was right and you guys really are insane.”
“Paige, we knew you did it. Just admit it,” Phoebe said, starting to smile.
“Never!” Paige said dramatically. “I will never give in!”
“Paige, you have 3 seconds admit it,” Piper said, grinning.
“Or what?” Paige teased, also grinning.
“Or you get the famous Halliwell punishment,” Phoebe said mischievously.
“Which is?”
“3,” Piper began. “2…”
“1,” Phoebe finished. “Ok, let’s get her.” Piper and Phoebe grinned at each other, then ran towards Paige. Paige’s eyes widened and she ran out of the kitchen and upstairs. She dove into her room and tried to get the door shut but her sisters were too quick for her. Phoebe pulled Paige onto the bed.
“Piper, quick,” Phoebe said, struggling with Paige. Piper came and held Paige down while Phoebe started tickling her. Paige struggled, laughing. “No, stop guys,” she pleaded. “Please!”
“Only if you admit what an incredibly crazy thing you did,” Phoebe grinned.
“Ok, ok, I admit it! Come on, I surrender!”
Phoebe stopped. “There. That wasn’t so hard,” Piper said to her baby sister. “So, care to tell us why?”
“Um, well, you guys never knew me when I really was that age so I just pretended.”
“Right. I thought I was going mad when you came in like that.”
“I know. You looked so funny.” Paige started laughing. “Oh, I wish I hadn’t done that.”
“Why?”
“Because that was incredibly crazy,” Paige said laughing. “I can’t believe I did that. I’m embarrassed.”
“So you should be Paigey-girl,” Phoebe told her. “Even I’ve never done that”
“Yeah, and that’s saying something,” Piper broke in. Phoebe hit her big sister playfully. Then put her arm around Paige then suddenly tickled her stomach. Paige started tickling Phoebe back. Phoebe giggled, then shrieked when Piper joined in.

In a minute, all three were rolling around on the floor in an all-out tickle-war. Paige shrieked when her sisters ganged up on her but soon turned the ganging-up to Piper.

Ten minutes later, the three sat cuddled up on Paige’s bed. “Love you guys,” Paige murmured, resting her head on Piper’s shoulder. Piper and Phoebe smiled at their baby sister. Phoebe turned to Paige.
“Well, while we’re on the subject, I guess we could tell you more stories about ourselves. All the embarrassing things Piper ever did, the stupid things Piper did, the weird things Piper did… You know.”

Laughing, the three settled down for a day of laughter and embarrassment. Paige couldn’t wait to be able to tease her sisters like they did to each other. Piper and Phoebe would, of course, want to know all Paige's secrets too, but Paige was ready to undermine certain situations and lie about the rest. She grinned.
“Ok,” Piper started. “When Phoebe was ten…”
