It was night in San Francisco and most people was sleeping in the Halliwell manor, everyone exept one. “ Mama!” A two year old Piper yelled from the top of her lungs. Piper didn’t really feel like sleeping anymore, so she figured why should her mother? The answer was clearly that she had to be awake like Piper was. She yelled one more time as loud as she could, and was very pleased to when she saw her mother stumbling into the room. Yawning and streaching Patty sat down in the chair next to Pipers bed.

“What Piper?” She questioned her daughter.

“UP!” Piper demanded and raised her hands over her head, ready to be lifted out of her bed.

Patty sighed, “Baby, it’s early, can’t you sleep just a little bit more for mommy?” She yawned again.

“Nah...up...” She was quick to pick Piper up when she saw her daughters lip starting to curl. Placing Piper on her lap she rocked her gently, hoping she could get her to fall asleep.

“Mama...where is daddy?” Piper asked, sratching her nose.

Patty smiled and kissed Pipers forehead lightly. “Daddy’s sleeping, just like Prue, Grams and Phoebe.” Refering to her slightly pregnant belly.

“When is Feebee tomin outa your tummy, mama?” Piper put her ear against Pattys belly trying to hear the baby. Patty smiled again, and stroked Pipers hair gently. “She’s gonna be in there for a while, baby. I promise to tell you when it’s close though, ok?”

“Yeah... maybe in da morning?” Piper questioned looking up at her mother.
Patty laughed. “ A bit longer, love...”

“Daddy, look...” Prue opened her mouth full of chewed up food for Victor to see.

“Prudence, eat your food like your supposed to.” He said trying to hide the laughter.

The whole family was sitting around the breakfast table. Piper was sitting in her highchair, trying as hard as she could to get out of it. “Piper, sit still and eat your food.” Penny sternly told her granddaughter.

Piper started pouding and looked over at her father hoping he would ignore her grandmother and help her up. Both Prue and Piper knew Victor was week when it came to his girls. “Grams is right, when you finish your food I’ll help you.” He said not giving in to Pipers wishes.

Pipers eyes the went to the only hope left at the table, her mother. “No Piper. Eat your food.” She looked back down at her plate. The jam sandwich looking grosser every minute. “I don’t wanna...” She complained in the way that only Piper could complain.

Victor smiled at her. “Fine, but this is the last time!” He helped her up from the chair and sat her down on the floor. “You too, Prue, go play.” Both Penny and Patty looked at him annoyed for giving in to the kids. “Vic, if you keep doing this, then they’ll never learn.” Victor kissed his wife. “This was the last time, I swear.”

Prue and Piper sat in the stairs playing, Prue with her barbies and Piper with a dinosaur that Andy had left behind. “My barbies are better than that stupid dinosaur...” Prue claimed looking over at her little sister.

“Mine can fly.” Piper argued back, giving her sister a sheepish smile.

Prue stuch her tounge out at Piper. “It can’t fly.”

“He can too!”

“How do you know?” Prue laughed at what her sister was saying.

“He said so.” Piper hugged the dinosaur.

“Show me.” Prue dared her. Piper nodded slightly and stood up from where she was sitting, throwing the dinosaur as far as she could.

“See...” Piper said smiling proudly. Her smile soon faded when she saw the dinosaur knocking a vase over, which fell to the ground with a loud crash.

The sound of something breaking made Patty run to the stairs to find out what had happened.

“Girls, what did you do?!” Patty asked placing her hands on her hips, looking at them for answers.

“She did it!” Prue pointed at her little sister.

“Sowwy, mama...” Piper looked at her mother with big brown eyes.

“It’s ok, baby. But you know better than to throw things around the house.” Prue grinned her nose and started to giggle. “She didn’t throw it ,mommy, she was just showing me that it could fly.”
