Piper: 15
Phoebe: 12
Patty: 38
Victor: 40

Prue’s head was about to explode; her head was full with all kind of thoughts and worries. Ever since her mother had come into her room yesterday and told her that her father and two sisters had been in a car accident she had felt this way. They were on their way home from the grocery store when another car hit them in the side. Piper and Phoebe was the two that were the most hurt. Piper had broken some ribs and gotten some not that serious bruises. She was in a coma. The doctor’s said that she’d wake up for sure, hopefully in some days or weeks. They said that her body needed the rest, that’s why she was in a coma. Phoebe had some cuts and bruises, a broken leg and had hit her head pretty good. It wasn’t life threatening or anything, but was said to hurt like hell. She was to get as much sleep and rest as possible. Then there was Victor; he was the luckiest one, he had been sitting on the side of the car that wasn’t hit. The one thing he struggled the most with was the worry of his children and the guilt of not being the one with all the pain and broken bones. He was getting out of the hospital today.

“Prue, get your coat we’re going to the hospital again.” Patty called out. She was tired, tired and scared. The two of them had only been home to get some new clothes on and to get some real food other than what they got on the hospital. The rings under her eyes were dark and you could tell that she hadn’t been getting much sleep lately.

“I’m coming, mom…” Prue yelled back, “Are you going to sleep at the hospital tonight too?” she asked while going down the stairs.

“I have to.” Patty simply responded.

Prue looked over at her mother with concern, “Don’t get me wrong, but it wouldn’t hurt if you stayed here tonight and slept in your own bed. You’re clearly exhausted, mom. I mean if Piper or Phoebe needs us the hospital the doc’s will call us right away.”

“I have to, Prue. I understand what your saying, but if that was you who was on the hospital I wouldn’t leave you there alone through the night either. Plus both of your sisters aren’t very happy with hospitals anyway, and Phoebe’s still afraid of the dark…” Patty ran her hand through her hair and sighed deeply.

“I know…I know…” she hugged her mother tightly, before heading to the car.

“Hey there, Pheebs. How are you doing?” Patty asked taking a seat beside the bed Phoebe lay in.

Phoebe scratched her nose and yawned a bit, “My head still hurts and my leg scratches a lot.”

Victor came into the room carrying four bottles of soda, “Who wants something to drink?” he asked. He sat down the bottles on a table that stood beside the chair Patty was sitting in. “Anything new on Piper? And where’s Prue?” He looked over at his middle daughter. She had a cut over her Wright eyebrow and it would make a neat little scar when it had healed.

“No, they say the same as every other time we have asked, that she’ll wake up when her body has gotten the rest it needs,” Patty told him, “Prue’s on the phone with either mom or Andy… my bet is Andy.” Phoebe rolled her eyes, because she also knew for sure that Prue would be on the pone with Andy.

“You going home today, daddy?” Phoebe asked him.

Victor took Phoebes hand in his and kissed her forehead, “Yes, I’m going home today… I have to start work again you know.” He smiled.

“Yeah suppose so…”

“I’m still gonna come and visit you and Piper everyday, I promise.” Victor assured her. Phoebe let out a big yawn again. “You should get some sleep, kiddo. I’m going home to get some sleep, but if you need me Phoeebs just call, ok?”

Phoebe closed her eyes and yawned one more time, “Ok, daddy. See you tomorrow.”

“Sure do, sweetheart… Patty if anything comes up call, if you want me to be here so you can get some sleep then just call, ok?” He hugged his wife warmly. “Love you.” He whispered in her ear. “I will call, Vic. And I love you too.” Before letting him go she kissed him goodbye. “You get some sleep yourself now…” she smiled as he nodded and left.

“Mom?” Pipers’ hoarse voice was heard in the hospital room. She had woken up from her coma, and was a bit confused with everything.

“I’m here, baby.” Patty assured her as she rushed to Pipers’ bedside. “Do you know why you’re here, sweetie?” she asked softly.

Piper shook her head no. “You, Phoebe and your dad was in a car accident. They’re both ok, we have just been waiting for you to wake up.” Patty told Piper stroking her hair softly.

“How did that happened?” Piper asked, starting to notice the pain in her side.

“All I know really is that your father was driving home from the grocery store and obviously the other car didn’t see the car your father was driving in and hit the side you and Phoebe were sitting at. The police said that it was the other drives’ fault though.”

“Where’s Phoeebs?” She asked confused.

“I’m here, Pipe,” Phoebe waved from the other bed, “How are you feeling?”

Piper tried to sit up in the bed but decided to stop when her ribs started hurting again. “Umm, ok. I guess...you?”

“I’m ok too… other than the fact that my head hurts a lot and I have a bump on it like Mount. Everest…hehe.” Phoebe giggled.

“It’s not that big, sweetie..” Patty tried. Becoming a bit restless she found out it was the best for all not to talk bout Phoebe’s bump at all. It truly was huge.

“Where are dad and Prue?” Piper asked her mother.

“Well you could guess three times where your sister is, and your dad is working. He’ll come to see you and Phoebe later though.” She smiled and kissed Piper’s forehead.

“Look, I’ll see you at school tomorrow, Andy.” Prue told her boyfriend on the hospital phone. “Love you, bye.” She hung up.

Prue went back to the hospital room her little sisters were at. She felt relived when she saw her younger sister, Piper, had woken up. “Piper? How are you? When did she wake up mom?” Prue asked without even catching her breath between the sentences.

“Hi, Prue. I’m ok, how’s Andy?” Piper laughed and smiled at her big sister.

Prue made a face and sat down on the end of Piper’s bed, “He’s just fine…he hoped you both would recover soon. And he said hello to you mom.”

“So, when did Pipe wake up did you say?” Prue asked Patty again.

“When you were on the phone with your beloved…” Patty teased, “We all found out it was better for you to talk to him and get your daily dose.”

“HAHA!!!” Prue said dryly. “You guy’s are so not funny…humour in the butt.” She teased back, sticking out her tongue.

“Hey, you want me to chop it off? I’ll do it when you’re asleep you know,” Patty threatened, “ I gotta go call your dad and tell him that your all ok. I’ll be back soon.” She said leaving the room.

“Hey sweethearts, how are you doing today?” Victor asked entering the room his two youngest daughters was in.

“Fine…dad, see my bump has gotten smaller!” Phoebe pointed at her head. Of coarse she didn’t need to do that… you could be in an airplane and still see that mountain.

“Yeah, Pheebs…that’s great.” Victor answered looking down at the floor just to keep his laughter away. “Pipe, how are you doing?” He asked his middle child, sitting down in a chair that stood beside Phoebe’s bed.

“Ok, my ribs are sore though,” She said, “and the hospital food… do I need to say more!”

“I get your point. You’re out of here tomorrow anyways…” He laughed.

“Prudence, do you want come with me to pick you sisters up at the hospital.” Patty asked her daughter.

“Nah, I think I’ll just stay here, got loads of homework to do..”

Patty looked suspiciously at Prue. “It’s not because Andy’s coming over then?” She put a smirk on her mouth. Prue’s face turned red, “ how the heck did you know?!”

“Andy called to say he was running late a min ago.” Patty laughed as Prue pushed her out the door. “I hate you..” Prue said annoyed when Patty still laughed. “Love you too, sweetie.” She called out as she got into the car.

“Jeez… nobody round here’s sane anymore!!!” Prue screamed after her, slamming the door.

Victor walked out in the hallway when he saw Patty. She smiled when she saw him and wrapped her arms around him for a tight hug. “How’re they doing?” she asked.

He smiled back at her, “Pretty good, they’re sick of the hospital food though. Sick isn’t even the right word, they despise it to be honest.”

“I would never have guessed. Prue’s back home by the way, Andy’s coming over.”
Victor froze for a second, “And you leave them alone!” he said stressed up.

“Vic, she’s 17… not a baby anymore. Besides she wouldn’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” Victor just glanced dumbly at her, “Was that supposed to be a relieve?!” She gave him an evil glare, “Haha...You’re just so funny sometimes...”

Yes, everything was back to normal in the Halliwell manor. Phoebe’s bump got smaller, Piper’s ribs got fixed, Prue and Andy were still together, Penny still annoyed Victor, Victor still annoyed Penny, and Patty still tried to hold her family together.
