Prologue

A man sat, looking at the picture in front of him, staring at the three women. Tracing a finger over one of there faces, he thought back to a time when he was young. Could it really be, he thought, was it true?
Did he really want to find. He need to know the truth, if not for his sake, then for Timothy's.
At the manor.

"Phoebe, will you hurry up!" Piper yelled up the stairs
"I'm almost ready. Where's Prue and dad?"
"They are waiting in the car. Come on we have to leave now or we'll miss the whole movie."

Rushing down the stairs, the youngest Halliwell grabbed the coat her sister was holding, shrugging it on as they headed out the door.

As they climbed into the car, a man stepped out of the shadows, watching them. Was that her? Could she really be his daughter? He was afraid to find out, yet he was also afraid not too. His sons life depended on it.

A few hours later, headlights broke the darkness, turning into the driveway of the manor. Turning off the engine, Victor looked at his three sleeping daughters, smiling at the peaceful sight. He had finely been able to find a common bond with them, was able to be apart of their lives again.

Looking at the oldest, he laughed quietly to himself, thinking of the first time he had reappeared in their lives, and how glad he was that she had not killed him. It had taken a very long time for her to open up top him and he vowed he would never do anything to break their trust again

"Girl's" he said softly, "We're home."

Sitting up, Piper and Prue turned to their youngest sister, sacked out in the back seat, dead to the world. Knowing they would not be able to wake her, her father picked her up and carried he inside, placing her on her bed. Smiling down at her he removed her shoe's and pulled a comforter up over her sleeping form, tucking her in like he wished he had done when she was still young.

Going back down stairs, he found his other two daughters having a late night snack. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, looking at the plate of cookies sitting on the table.

"Sure Dad, pull up a stool." Prue told him, giving him a smile. Of all the things he had missed by staying out of their lives, his daughters smiles were right on top of the list. Walking up to them, he gave each a quick hug, drawing a puzzled look from each.
"What was that for?" Piper asked, confused.
"For all the one's I missed." he replied simply, knowing they would understand.

Sitting there, he watched the two beautiful, independent women, thinking how luck he was to have such daughters. Looking up, he mouthed a silent 'Thank You' to his ex wife, they may not have gotten along at the end, but they had managed to do one thing right.

Getting up, Piper kissed her father, heading for bed. Stopping in the doorway, she turned to him. "You want to stay here tonight?"
"I would love to, if it's alright with your sister." he said turning to look at Prue
"Um?" she said, pretending to think about it, "That would be fine with me."
"Ok, I will make up the spare bed for you. Good night."
"Night." the others replied.
"Dad?"
"Yes?"
"I'm glad your here." Prue said to him. "I know I didn't make it easy."
"You had every right to feel that way."
"Good night, I love you."

Almost jumping for joy at her last statement, Victor headed upstairs, happy he was here, and happy to finally be back with his girls.

~~ ~~

Starring down at the pale face of his son, David Richards gently brushed his cheek, careful not to wake him. He would do what ever he had to save him, even if it meant confronting his past. He loved the boy too much to give up.

In the morning, he would go to her, try to get her to help. He had nothing else to lose if he didn't.
It was Sunday, and for once, Phoebe was up with her sisters, all four of the family sitting in the kitchen, eating pancakes. If someone didn't know better, they would never have know that they had not always been close. The conversation had gotten a bit silly, as Victor brought up story's of when the girls had been little, causing Prue to choke on her coffee when he told her first attempt at feeding herself, and the mess it caused.

A knock at the door interrupted them. Getting up quickly, before any of the others, she went and answered it, finding a man of about fifty standing there, looking very nervous.

"Can I help you?"
"I hope so, may I come in and talk to you?" he said, looking into her eye's. they were like a mirror image of his, he was more nervous then ever now. How would she respond. How could he explained?
"Sure?" she said, a little nervously. He could be a demon, she thought, ushering him into the living room.
"What can I do for you?" she got right to the point, making sure he was far enough away that she could defend her self if necessary.
"My name is David Richards and, I know this will sound strange, but I need your help to save my son's life. You could be his last hope."
"Why me? How can I help him?" she was confused now.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he plunged right in. "Because I believe you are the only one left who could, he needs a bone marrow transplant from a sibling."

Stunned, she could only stand there, starring at him, shock written all over her face. Did he say sibling?
Walking into the room, Piper found a strange man sitting there and her sisters face had gone white as a sheet

"Prue? What's wrong?" she asked her.

Her sisters voice broke the silence, bringing Prue back to reality

"Get out!" she told him, barely resisting the urge to use her powers and throw him out. "I don't know who you are, but don't ever come back here!" she told him.

Hearing the commotion, Phoebe and Victor arrived in the hallway just as David was coming out of the living room. Glaring at him, Victor suddenly lunged, swinging his fist and connecting squarely with his jaw. Staggering back, David looked up at him.

"I told you never to set foot in this house again!" Victor shouted, advancing on him. "Now leave before I really let you have it!"

Shocked, the sisters just looked at him. They had never seen their father like this before. So angry, so violent towards someone else. Staggering to his feet, David back towards the door, looking back and forth between Prue and Victor.

"I had to come Victor," he said, and then to Prue he said "Please, we need your help." Opening the door, he left, leaving the youngest two standing there confused.
"Don't believe him," Victor told Prue, pilling her into a hug. "No matter what he might have said, he's a liar, always has been."
"Will you please tell us what is going on?" Piper finally said, trying to figure out what had just happened. "Who was that guy?
"That was my brother." he said, stunning them all
"You..you have a brother?" Phoebe asked, "How come we never knew?"
"Your mother and I..we..ah..we threw him out along time ago."
"How long?" Prue finally asked, afraid to hear the answer.
"Before you were born," he told her, not quite looking her in the eye. Noticing this, she could only stare at him, was it true, did he know and never tell her? The Questions were getting to be too much. Grabbing her car key's she fled the house.

An hour later, she had still not returned, and her sister's were starting to get worried. Victor had not said another word and had left soon after. Not knowing what else to do, Phoebe and Piper spent the morning moving things aimlessly around the house not getting much done.

Meanwhile, Prue had been driving around, no real destination in mind, thinking about what David had said. If he was her father, what had happened? How? Why? She didn't believe him, or did she? When she had first seen him, it had been like looking into a mirror image of her own eye's, and he had the same straight black hair.

Did she really want to know? Pulling the car over, she leaned her head down on the steering wheel, letting her tears fall. After a few minutes, she looked up, noticing where she was for the first time, the lake. Why had she come here? This place that always seemed to help her feel closer to her mother suddenly felt so wrong. Getting out of the vehicle, she walked down to the edge of the pier.

"Mom? Are you here?" she asked the air. Knowing she would get no answer. "Why is this happening now? Can't I ever find peace and happiness? Is this how it was for you?" Looking down at her hands, she noticed the ring glittering on her left hand. Morgan, why couldn't he be here now? She need to talk to him. She needed to be held by him.

As she thought about him, she could feel the familiar tingling that proceeded her projecting, and, as she tried to stop it, she was overcome by a wave of dizziness. Closing her eye's, she sat down before she fell.
"Prue?" she heard his familiar voice say. "What are you doing here?"

David sat there, holding his son's hand, praying that he had at least gotten her to think about it. He knew she would never accept him, not after what he had done, but for Timothy, he would try anything, admit to anything, even if it had meant confronting his wild past. He had not planed on running into Victor though. He had gotten off easier then he thought, rubbing his sore jaw. Last time Victor had almost killed him.

Timothy started to shiver, drawing his attention back to the present, as the feelings of guilt washed over him. Was this his punishment? Was his son suffering because of what he had done? Wrapping him in his arms, he gently rocked him as the medicine worked what little good it could. If he didn't get a transplant soon, no amount of medicine would be able to save him.

Standing there, looking at the headstone, Victor's mind rolled with anger and hate. After all this time, he had to come back. How was he ever going to be able to tell her? She was the oldest, the strongest, the most sure of herself. What would this do to her? Would she ever be able to forgive them?

"Oh Patty," he said to her grave, knowing she would hear him, "what are we going to do? I need your help. I need you here. Hell, I even need your mother on this one."

On another plane, the source watched, intrigued. This could lead to the chance he needed. If the oldest doubted herself, all three would be weaker, easier to defeat. Calling for his advisor of the week, he settled back, enjoying what was happening.

Arriving back at the manor, Victor was surprised to notice that Prue's car was still missing. Sitting there, he tried to decide what to tell the girls, knowing that they would want to know about his brother, and what it had to do with Prue. All the fears he had been keeping inside himself for the last thirty years came crashing down on him.

Walking up to the door, he could hear the sound of his two youngest girls talking, their voices raised as though they were yelling.

"How should I know?" he heard Piper say, "YOUR the one who can see the past and future!"
"But this is about our family, how come WE didn't know that dad had a brother? Why is he so mad at him? And what does all this have to do with Prue?"
"I wish I knew." Piper said. "Where are they?"

Opening the door, Victor was immediately aware of the looks he was getting. A mixture of confusion, anger and hope. Closing the door, he leaned back against it, waiting for the questions to begin. Just as Phoebe started to open her mouth to ask him, the phone rang.

"Hello, Piper speaking."
"Hey Piper, its Morgan."
"Sorry Morgan, Prue's not here."
"I know," he said, "that's why I'm calling. She's here."
"She's what!" Hearing this both Phoebe and Victor moved closer, trying to find out what was going on.
"She's here, in Maine with me. I don't know what happened, she won't say how or why she came here. I was hoping you could help."
"You mean she's projecting that far?" Piper asked, concerned for her sister, she had never gone cross country in astral before.
"No, I mean she is physical here, like she teleported or something."
"Is she ok?"
"Other then being tired and a little dizzy she seems fine."
"Just try to keep her there, we should be along soon." Hanging up the phone, she turned to come face to face with her sister and her dad, both wearing identical looks of concern. "She's with Morgan." she told them, then looking up she called for he husband.

"Morgan? How did I get here?" Prue finally asked, as the room stopped spinning. "The last thing I remember was standing by the lake."
"I think your powers just grew again. You teleported here. Are you alright?"
"Yes..no..oh I don't know! Everything is falling apart."
"Tell me what's wrong. Please, you know I love you, let me help you."
"No, I'm not ready to. Just give me a little time to figure this out first, please?" she told him, turning around and wrapping her arms around his waist, she leaned her head against his chest, just listening to the sounds of his beating heart. Soon she was asleep.

Holding her close, her ran his hand through her hair, offering silent comfort and understanding. Hw didn't know what was causing her this confusion, but he knew that eventually, she would open up to him and talk about it. A flash of light caught his attention, as a blue glow formed in the doorway to his living room. Now, maybe, he could get some answers.

"Leo. What are you doing here?" he asked, seeing his future brother-in-law approach.
"How is she?" Leo asked softly, looking down at the slumbering figure in his arms.
"I don't know. Do you know what is going on?"
"Yes, They told me." Leo replied, pointing up. "Piper asked me to come and get you, she's really worried about her." Reaching down, he took one of there hand each, and orbed them both back to the manor.

~~ ~~

"Dad?" a weak voice questioned. He was immediately awake, looking up at his son's face, searching for some sign that he was better.
"Yes Timothy?" he asked, keeping his own voice soft, trying not to wake him if he had imagined it.
"Will she help?"
"I don't know yet son, you just rest for now. Let me do the worrying." as his blue eye's closed, Timothy's last thought was of a sister he had never meet.

~~ ~~

'So' the source thought, 'She may not be a full sister to the other two? I know the perfect way to 'help' her doubt.' Calling for a certain demon, he waited for him to appear.
"Yes, Master" the demon said, giving a barely acceptable bow of submission.
"I have a job for you."

"Ok, will 'someone' please tell us 'what' is going on" Piper demanded, as Leo orbed in with her sleeping sister, and Morgan.
Sitting down on the couch, Phoebe motioned for Morgan to place Prue down beside her. Curled up beside her, she looked so peaceful, it was hard to tell that she had left the house looking like her word had just fallen apart. Brushing her hair back, Phoebe hoped that whatever the problem was, Prue would let them help her.
"Let me start." Victor said quietly, moving into the room. "David Richards is my half brother. He came to visit us around February of 1971. We had never really spent much time together, but Patty thought it would be nice to invite him for a visit, after the holidays."

Taking a breath, he paused and looked down at his daughters, unsure if he should continue. His gaze was meet by the piercing blue of the oldest, he almost couldn't go on. What would she think of him, of her mother. Looking away, he continued, knowing they had a right to know.

"One night, we all went out for some drinks and a bit of dancing. I didn't pay attention to how much either of them had, and not knowing David, I thought I could trust him. I will NEVER make that mistake again. That night, when we got home, David passed out on the couch, while I took your mom upstairs to bed." he could see the girls starting to look at each other, knowing where this could lead.

Looking at Prue, Piper was the first one to figure out the math, and suddenly, her mind came up with the answer as to what was bothering her. Her eyes grew round at the implications, and she saw Phoebe's reaction, as she held still so as not to let Prue know what she was thinking.

Phoebe had come to the same conclusion as Piper, never having suspected that. She had known about Sam and her mother, wondering at first about her own father, but she had never suspected that Prue could not be her full sister.

"When I woke up the next morning, I found David coming out of the guest room, and your mom was asleep on the bed."
"What did he say happened?" Prue asked, her eye's boring into her father, if that's who he was.
"He told me he had a 'really good night', laughing like it was something he did all the time, but your mom never did remember it."
"So, maybe nothing really happened," Piper said, trying to believe it herself. "Maybe he just wanted you to think that."
"If that was true," Prue spoke up, "he never would have come looking for me."

Knowing she was right, the others just sat there, trying to get over the shock of what Victor had told them.

"Mr. Richards, we have Timothy's test results back." looking at the doctor, David could not help but feel a little hatred towards him. He was young still, and had his whole life ahead of him, while his son's slipped away little by little.
"What are the results 'this' time?"
"He is getting worse, but you already know that, don't you. His cancer is starting to spread faster, and unfortunately, as you know, with his unique blood properties, we have not been able to find a suitable donor. Did you have any luck with finding the person you were searching for."
"No, not really." Hanging his head, he thought back on his meeting with her, knowing she would not except what he had said. He was starting to feel his world crumble. Standing, he left the room as one thought went round and round in his head. 'one way or another, he would get her tested'. Pulling out his wallet, he called in a lot of favors from his clients, they would be able to get her here.

Standing in the shadows, he watched, as the Source had ordered him to, flexing his hands. He was so close, all he had to do was reach out and the Charmed ones would no longer be a thorn in their side. But the Source had told him to wait and watch, and he was NOT going to disobey that order. He liked his life too much to be that stupid, but the urge was still there.

They both looked up as they heard a knock on the door, and he followed her, unseen, as she went upstairs to see who it was.

"Prue, theirs a delivery for you." Piper voice called.
"What is it?" she asked, entering the hallway.
"Prue Halliwell?" a man asked.
"Yes."
"Please sign here." he told her, holding out a clipboard.
"What is it?" she asked as she signed.
"Consider yourself served." he replied as he handed her an envelope, quickly walking away.
"Who was that?" Phoebe asked as she saw her sisters walk into the room.
"I was served a court order! To be tested as a donor!" Prue told them, looking up from the papers she was reading.

Walking into the hospital, the group of people of people the receptionist saw made her think of a lynch mod she had seen in a movie. Three young women and three men, each wearing a look that could have scared even John Wayne approached her desk, taking a deep breath, she managed to sound polite and professional, much to her surprise.

"May I help you?"
"We are looking for David Richards." the first man said, his green eye's were full of anger, and something else she could not quite understand.
"He...he's in room 327, but he's with his son's doctor right now. If you would care to wait..." she didn't get any farther as the six people turned and headed for the elevators. Reaching for the phone, she started to call security, then, she thought better, knowing it could be a big mistake getting them mad.

As they stepped off the elevator on the third floor, Piper and Phoebe each held onto one of Prue's arms, trying to keep her from doing something rash. When she had first received the supine, the whole house had ducked for cover as she lost control of her powers, and things started flying around the room. They did not want a repeat here.

Walking down the hallway, Morgan finally found the room. Peering inside, he stopped dead, looking at the two people in the room with he doctor. One was an older man, but it was the younger one laying in the bed that made him glance back at his lady. He was the spitting image of her. Same straight black hair and blue eye's. Even the feature's were the same. They looked almost like twin's.

"What is it?" Leo asked, moving to his side, looking in the window, he did the same double take Morgan had. "Could this be real?" he asked quietly, so Prue didn't hear.

Down the hall, the two youngest were trying to keep Prue calm, her anger at the man claiming to be her father was starting to scare them and they were afraid of what she might do. Phoebe just hoped Cole would be able to get them out of the court order, having called him after things settled down at the manor.

"Prue sweetie, we really should wait till Cole gets here, and until the doctor is finished." Piper said to her.
"That.. that man is trying to destroy my family!" Prue said, venom in her voice. "I will not let him do this!"

Just as she was about to pull away from them, Cole appeared from the elevator, and Phoebe could tell from the look on his face that his news was not good. Seeing her looking at him, he gave a small shake of his head, having tried everything he could think of to break the court order, but to no avail.

"What did you find out?" Prue asked as Cole reached them.
"I'm sorry, but you will have to do this. If you don't, you will end up in jail for contempt. He must have a lot of influential friends to pull this off so quickly."

Defeated, Prue just sort of crumbled into a near by chair, not sure of what she was feeling. She did not want to do this, afraid it could be true, yet wanting to show that he was wrong.

The demon was still watching, seeing how they were all reacting, a plan starting to form in his mind. He would go to the source to see if he was allowed to cause a lot of havoc.

"The doctors leaving now." Piper said, drawing everyone's attention. Standing up, they all headed for the room. Opening the door, the three sisters were the first one's in, stopping when they saw all the machine's that were hooked up to the man sleeping fretfully on the bed. Prue let out a little gasp, seeing his face. It was impossible, he was her mirror image almost, right down to the mark on her face.

Turning, she fled the room, going anywhere but there. Morgan followed her, while the rest stayed, not really knowing what to say. Catching up to her by the elevator, Morgan just held her, as she let all her pent up emotions out, trying to be there for her when she was ready to talk.

"Mr. Richards, what gives you the right.." Phoebe started to say.
"Right! This isn't about right, this is about my son!"
"So you don't care if you mess up our lives!"
"So long as I can save him, I don't care what I have to do!"
"Both of you stop!" a weak voice said from below them. "What is she talking about Dad?" Timothy was looking at them, pain clear on his face, as he tried to find out what was going on.
"Just go back to sleep son." David said, not wanting him to know how far he had gone to save him.
"I have a ....right to know." It was hard to talk, the pain and the drugs in his system fighting to make him sleep, but he would not give in, not till he knew.
"Your Father" Phoebe said, still looking at David as she spat out the word, "has a court order out against our sister, making her get tested as a donor whether she want to or not!"
"Is that true?" he asked. His Fathers silence was all the answer he needed. "Can I speak to her, please?" he said, turning to Phoebe.
"I will ask her, but I don't think she will with 'him' in the room. Turning, she went in search of her oldest sister, leaving the room before she decided to punch David in the face.

"Sir?" he demon said as he appeared before the source.
"What is it now!?"
"The Charmed witches sir, I think I know how to defeat them."
"Oh really? And why would your plan work better then anyone else's!" he asked, leaning forward.
"Well..." he said, telling his plan, as the source thought about how this could possible work. the sound of the Source's laughter sent chill's down the backs of all the demon's who heard it.
"Go! And carry it out. If you run into difficulty's, I will send you aid. But if you fail me in this..." he said, leaving the threat hanging. Backing out of the room, Kilec know he did not want to know what would happen.

"Prue?" Phoebe said after finding them. "His son would like to speak to you. Are you up to it?"
"Will 'he' be in there?" she asked, wiping the tears off her face.
"Not if you don't want him to be, we will see to that." The strength in her baby sister voice gave her the boost she needed. She had survived countless demon's, one man would not get to her like this again.

Standing, she marched down the hall, grateful for all the support she had from her family, and even Cole.

"You wanted to speak to me?" Prue asked softly, alone in the room with Timothy.
"First, I want to apologize, for Dad. He wasn't always like that. I understand why you’re reluctant to help."
"It's not..." she tried to say, but he cut her off.
"It's the whole, I'm your father thing. I tried to tell him not to, but he wouldn't listen." Stopping to catch his breath, Timothy was once again taken back by their resemblance. "I won’t let him force this on you. It is still about...free choice. All we can do, is ask you to be tested....."

She could tell it was taking all his strength just to talk, and her heart went out to him. He was not a part of this, and if nothing else, he was her cousin. Hoping she wasn't about to find out something she didn't want to know, she made her decision. Not for his father's sake, but for his.

"I will do the test." she said, her gaze locking with his.
"You don't have too."
"Yes, I do, no matter what, your still family."
"Thank you." he whispered, as he started to drift off once again.

Prue just stood there, watching as he slept, wondering if he was her brother. taking one last look, she headed out to find a nurse, before she lost her nerve. Seeing her, her sisters joined her, having decided to be tested as well, never knowing when the information could help each other.

"Are you sure about this?" Piper asked. "What about what happened with Dr. Williamson . Look what happened when he got our blood in his body."
"First things first, let find out if I am a match. Then we can worry about the rest after." Prue told her, having already had the same thoughts. But having made her decision, she would see it through, no matter what the outcome.

Arriving at the labs, the girls were each lead to a separate room, where the were grilled for what seemed like hours about there health and family history's, finally, a tech approached them, taking several large vials of blood.

"That guy was like a vampire." Phoebe said, as the three sisters got back on the elevator, "I don't want to do 'that' again."
"No kidding, and those needle's!" Piper replied, rubbing her arm where she had been stuck. Getting on the elevator, none of them saw the figure shimmer into the lab, watching for a chance to have some fun.

Victor stood outside the hotel room, trying to calm himself, before he confronted his brother. It had been 30 years since they had last spoken a civil word to each other, and now that he was back, he just wanted him to leave. He could never forgive him for his betrayal, taking advantage of his wife. This time he would admit the truth to him or he would beat it out of him.

"Victor?" David said, opening the door. "Why are you here?"
"You know why 'brother'! I want the truth!"
"About what? That night thirty years ago? Well I can't tell you, because I don't remember."
"You’re lying!" Victor shouted, "Other wise you would not be here!" All his anger, all his frustrations and all his pent up emotion's over what he had done when he left his girls was now focused on David.

Stepping in, he advanced on him threateningly. Suddenly he was grabbed from behind by two men, preventing his attack.

"Victor, I understand how you feel. But I 'am' telling you the truth. We had so much to drink that night, I don't even remember leaving the club. I do remember waking up with Patty beside me, and 'that' is why I am here. Do the math, it was nine months later that Prue was born, and if I have any chance to save Timothy, she is it."

Struggling, Victor was still no match for the two goons holding him, as he was removed forcefully from the room. He had never wanted to admit it, even to himself, but David was right, it had been nine months after. He had never told Patty, but in a moment of weakness, he had confided to Penny. She had told him not to worry, but now, he was not so sure.

The source was pleased with the way things were going, he had not even had to do anything to cause this, but it would work to his advantage. Summoning his guard, he gave an order, they sat back to watch the events unfold.

At the hospital lad, Kilec had been watching patiently as the lab tech's ran their tests, and he was bored out of his mind, aching to just reach out and throttle the next one to walk by him. It had already been two hours since they had started this, and he was pleased to see they were, finally, almost done. It had come as no surprise that the sisters were all a match for each other, but as the last test results came up, even he was taken back by them.

'How is that possible' he thought, quickly leaving the room to go to the Source. They had never suspected this!

At the manor, Piper had fled to the kitchen to make them all some supper, and to escape her oldest sisters constant pacing. Looking at her watch once more, Prue started for the phone, just as Victor came in the door.

"Prue?" he said, catching her eye. "Can I talk to you?"
"There is nothing 'to' talk about Victor, not now anyway."
"Then would you at least listen to me, please?" taking her hand, he lead her into the sunroom, where they could have a little privacy. "Honey, no matter what, I need you to remember one thing." he said, looking directly into her eye's, as though through will power alone he could convince her. "I love you. You are MY daughter and nothing will ever change that."

Prue was saved from trying to answer her fathers plea by the phone ringing. Jumping to answer it, the three sister's almost collided as the all rushed to the phone.

"Hello?" Prue answered
"May I speak to one of the Halliwell's please?"
"This is Prue Halliwell."
"This is Dr. Evans, from the lab calling about your test results."
"Go ahead, doctor."
"First, let me tell you that you and your sisters are all compatible with each other."
"Thank you for doing those test at the same time."
"It was no problem, Ms Halliwell, now as for the test with Timothy Richards, I am happy to say you are a perfect match, almost as if you were the same person. I have never seen anything like it in two people before."

Dropping the phone, Prue just stood there, looking at her father’s face, seeing the confused look that was there.

Walking into his room, David Richards had to smile. Everything was turning out just like he had hoped. A noise behind him caused him to jump, and turning, he found himself face to face with his benefactor.

"Wha...what are you doing here?" he asked, taking a step back.
"I have come to discuss our 'deal'"
"Prue? What did they say?" Phoebe asked, seeing her sisters shocked face.

Taking a deep breath she told them what she had found out from the doctor. As Leo stood there something about it nagged at the back of his mind. Even though he had not kept up with the current technology, it still felt wrong. Walking into the other room, he felt the Elders calling him, maybe they would be able to answer his questions. Saying goodbye to his wife, he orbed out.

Arriving in the hallway outside the central chamber, he found the last two people he ever expected to see here. Penny and Patty Halliwell. For them to have been called before the Elders meant that something somewhere had messed with the Warren line, and a sinking feeling grew in the pit of his stomach.
Meanwhile, the girls had decided to look on the internet to see if they could figure out just what was going on. The only things they had found so far did not make any since.

Clones Aren't Exact Copies There is some misunderstanding about what constitutes a clone. A human clone would be the genetic identical twin, a generation or more younger, of the donor (not the surrogate mother) who provided the nucleus. But because people are more than a product of their genes, a clone would have its own personality, character, intelligence, and talents exactly as identical twins do (who are natural clones stemming from the same egg). You cannot clone a person's brain or mind, and chance factors, the environment, and a person's experiences contribute to individual traits.

Looking at each other, they couldn't help but stare. Is this what had happened? Grabbing there things, they headed for the hospital.

The Source was please with him. Kilec had discovered the mortals true secret, now all they had to do was to turn the pawn, and then the Charmed one's would be no more. and he knew just the way to do it, rising, he transformed to his human shape and blinked to the surface.

Appearing in the hospital lounge, he headed for the pawns room, disguised as his 'father' knowing that he would be able to convince him better that way. Soon, he would kill his own, so called father and the Warren powers would be his for the taking.

"Dad? Why are you here?" Timothy asked as he entered the room, a strange feeling of fear sweeping over him.

In Pipers truck, Phoebe was sitting there, trying to get her mind wrapped around the events unfolding in their lives, when Prue reached out to shake her shoulder. As her older sister touched her, she froze, and everything went black and white.

Timothy, fighting David. A demon, waiting, a dagger held out to him. Timothy, standing over his dad's body, as he turned to the side of evil.

Snapping out of it, she found both her sisters staring at her. "Piper! The road!" As her middle sister turned back towards the front, she had to swerve violently to avoid an on coming truck, sending the jeep into a spin. The last thing she heard was the sound of her sisters screaming, and then every thing went black.

"Hello 'son'. Are you ready to fulfil your sole purpose for existing?" He said, approaching the bed.
"Dad? What's going on?" He asked, trying to back away.
"It is time you found out the truth, whelp! You are nothing more then my own creation! I made you! Now it is your time to do as I tell you!" Stopping beside the bed, he could see the conflicting emotions playing in Timothy's eye's. "You are 'nothing' more then a creation, with no real mother or father! You 'will' kill the witches' or I will replace you with another."

Looking around desperately, he was grateful that all the tubes he had been connected to had been removed, otherwise, he would not be able to crawl out the bed and try to get to the only place left open to him. The bathroom door was just a few feet away, he hoped he could make it there before his father totally lost his mind. Locking the door, he leaned against the sink, trying to figure out what was going on.

"We have descried the boy's origin's" the chief Elder informed them, explaining all they had learned.

When he was done Leo just stood there, shocked by what had accrued while beside him, Penny and Patty just looked at each other, afraid of what could happen.

"Ho...how is that possible? That technology didn't even exist then!" Penny managed to get out, the usually collected Halliwell 'spirit's' mind wurled at the possibilities. A male witch, from the Warren line would be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, as the only one not effected by the Power of Three, he could either be their salvation, or their doom.

Patty just stood there, trying to remember a time when she had felt so utterly violated, not by any type of attack, but by someone creating a copy of her first born. An act, not of love, but greed. She had to find a way to help, whether they let her or not, for in a way, Timothy was her son.

"Dr. Smith, what are you doing here?' David asked
"We had a deal, I would create a child for you, and you would keep my secret. You have managed to violate our arrangement by seeking out the 'donor' to save his life."
"He may not be my real son, but I love him, and I am not about to let him die if there is something I can do about it."
"You no longer have a choice in the matter. I will not be exposed for my 'experiments'" Turning, he left the room, as David dropped to his knee's, crying for his son. There would be no miracle cures, he was beyond that now.

Something warm was running down her face. What was it? Where was she? As she opened her eye's, she saw her sister leaning on the dash, her eye's fluttering as she too tried to wake up. Lifting a shaking hand to her head, Piper pulled it away, blood covering her palm.

"Phoebe? Prue?" she asked, trying to turn to look into the back seat, but her head started spinning again. "Whoa..not a good move. Phoebe, can you here me?" A groan seemed to echo in the car, as both her sisters sat up.

"Piper? Why did you do that? You should always watch the road." Phoebe scolded her, getting a napkin out of the glove box to put over the cut on her sisters head.
"Hey! You shouldn't have premonitions when I'm driving."
"Speaking of visions" Prue said from the backseat, trying to get her vision to clear. She noticed that her side hurt as well, but ignored it, her thoughts on her sisters first.
"Timothy is in big trouble," Phoebe told them. "He's going to kill his father, and a demon is there, waiting to turn him to evil."
"We have to stop him!" Prue cried, trying to open the door. She had to help him. As her frustration at not being able to get there grew, the strange sensation she had felt before over came her, and to her sisters amazement, she disappeared.

"How come you two get all the cool powers? I hate you guy's sometimes." Phoebe asked, staring at the spot her oldest sister had just been.

The source stood there in the hospital room, knowing his plan was starting to have an effect, when he suddenly felt another presence materialise in the bathroom with his quarry. It was the oldest. Not wanting to be found, he quickly blinked out, but he was not done with the pawn yet, he would turn him!

Dr. Smith walked into his mansion, set back from the road far enough that none could see the house, it was his personal spot of freedom, the only place he dared to be himself. Noltec released his hold on his human form, chuckling at the havoc he was creating in this time. Time travel being what it was, he had thought of the perfect way to take the Sources place, using a Warren against him. For thirty years, he had hidden, after first cloning the oldest of the Charmed one's.

He had even managed to set things in motion to cause the witch to doubt her own heritage. It had been so simple, shimmering into the house while they had all been sleeping, and moving the mother and the brother into the spare room. His plan was unfolding just as he had wanted, soon, he knew, the Source would try to turn the pawn he had created., and the Charmed One's would be there to stop him.

He knew they could not hope to defeat the Source yet, their powers were not strong enough, but he would be greatly weakened and then it would be his turn!

Her head was spinning as she found herself sitting on a, ‘toilet’. Surprised, she tried to stand, but as she did, a sudden head rush almost made her pass out. Where was she now? Looking up, she found her self staring into the wide, frightened eye's of Timothy Richards.

"Who or what are you!" he cried, caught between wanting to flee and staying away from his father, he settled for backing as far away as he could.
"I'm not here to hurt you, I came to help."
"Help!? You just appeared out of no where, my dad's gone insane and...and..." he got no further, as he passed out. Reacting quickly, Prue used her powers to gently lay him on the floor.
"Not the thanks I was looking for." she said, "but it make's him easier to deal with." Looking up, she caught sight of herself in the mirror, a dark bruise was forming on her forehead where she had... "Oh, the car!" she suddenly remembered. How were her sisters? Concentrating, she managed to send just her astral self back to them.

"Prue!" Phoebe cried as a red glow appeared in the back seat, "What did you.."
"Later. Are you two alright?"
"I think so. We just can’t seem to get out." Piper replied, holding a hand to the cut on her head. In the distance, they could all here the sounds of sirens approaching. "You better get back to yourself, it would be to hard to explain it."
"Ok, I will be waiting for you at the hospital." and she vanished.

Rushing into the hospital, David ran to his son's room, afraid of what he might find. He had always been so jealous of his half brother, he had had a father growing up, taking his away, even though he had never married his mother. Now, the one thing he had managed to have of his own, even if Timothy was not his real son, was in danger. He stopped short as he opened the door, staring at the woman sitting there.

“What do you want here!" she said, rising up and approaching him.
"But..your......dead." he stuttered as Patty Halliwell seem to glide forward.
"Yes, I am. I have come to see what you stole from me, MY son. Now get out, before I decide to have you join me!" Slamming the door on him, Patty returned to study the man before her, still not quite sure what was going on, but knowing she loved him as much as she did her girls. Hearing voice's in the hallway, she disappeared, knowing it was her girls.

"Does he know what we suspect?" Phoebe asked, leading a slightly shaky Piper by the arm.
"No, I didn't think we should tell him before we were sure."
"I guess your right, telling someone they are the male clone of a female witch could make him hostel."
"You think!" Prue shot back sarcastically, her side still ached but other then a bruise she was fine.

Walking into the room, Timothy awoke to the sounds of their voices but keeps his eyes closed, hoping they won't notice. 'Who are these people' he thought, remembering Prue's sudden appearance earlier, 'and why do I feel so connected to them?' He could hear someone coming closer and a hand reaching down to his face.
"It's so strange." Phoebe says, brushing his hair back like she would for one of her sisters. As she does, she is drawn into another premonition, seeing his past and knowing that what they had been thinking was in fact, the truth. From a strange doctor taking a snip of baby Prue's hair, to the process of cloning and growing the child that was Timothy.

"Oh my god, it is true," she says, barely above a whisper. "He was cloned!"
"What!" a voice says, making her jump, as Timothy sat up in bed, grabbing her arm. "You people are crazy!"
"Piper, can you." Prue says, waving her hands at him.
"I'll try." but though everything else froze, he did not. "Ok, now what?" she says, turning to her oldest sister.

Walking over to him, Prue ran through the family history, keeping an eye on his reaction. His eyes grew wide as he listened to her and as she demonstrated her powers, he finally released his hold on the youngest. Grabbing a near by cup, he took a drink, wishing for something a little stronger to help calm his nerve's. All his life, he had felt a little different, as though there was something special about himself, but this was the last thing he had ever expected.

"So, brother, you still want to have the procedure?" she asked him. Not trusting his voice, Timothy just nodded his head. "Good, because I have already made an appointment." she told him, smiling.

In the hallway, David leaned against the door, listening to the wild tale about witches and demons and warlocks, knowing he was involved in something he had near planned on. All he had wanted was a child of his own, knowing he only had one chance, he had taken the strange doctors offer all those years ago, believing the tale about his night with Patty. He had lost everything, and now, he would set it straight. Turning, he left the hospital, going to find the 'good' doctor.

Kilec knew the time had come. The oldest would be out of action for a while leaving the younger two open to attack. Smiling, he shimmered out to find a few 'friends' to help him destroy the witches.

The next morning, Prue convinced her sisters to stay home, telling them to pick her up at the hospital in a few hours, after the procedure had been preformed. She knew they would just pace the corridors waiting for her and this was something she felt she needed to do on her own. Watching her leave, Piper and Phoebe decided to look in the BOS for the demon Phoebe had seen in her premonition.

They stood in the shadows of the trees, watching as the oldest left, soon, they would do what even the great Belthazor had not. They would kill the Charmed one's, earning a place in the Sources inner circle. An hour later, they attacked.

"Phoebe? Did you hear something?" Piper asked, glancing up.
"No, why?"
"I could have sworn I heard.....Demon!" Piper yelled, just as she felt something slam into her from behind.

Jumping up, Phoebe saw three demons bursting in to the attic, one knocking Piper down. Spinning, she delivered a kick to the nearest one, sending it stumbling back to trip over the one holding her sister. As she continued her spin, looking for the last demon, she did not see the first one stand, glaring at her, as he threw a bolt of light at her unprotected back.

Trapped Piper could only watch as the light struck her, bursting into a great ball of light, to bright to look at.

"Phoebe!!!!"

She awoke, feeling slightly light headed, dry mouthed, and disorientated. Slowly, awareness returned, as the white walls of the recovery room came into focus. A figure appeared in her line of vision, someone wearing light pink, and sounding like they were far away.

"Ms. Halliwell? Can you hear me?" But as she tried to answer, only a small croak escaped. "Here, take a small sip of this." the figure said, holding a straw to her lips. "Do you know where you are?"
"Hospital" she managed to whisper.
"Do you know your name?" the nurse asked again, trying to determine her awareness.
"P...P....Prue," she finally managed, for some reason her mind and her mouth felt like they were disconnected.
"Good, the doctor will be in shortly to check on you, and then, in about an hour or two, you can go home."

Lying back, Prue struggled to piece her foggy mind back together. She remembered why he was here, but she didn't know how long it had been. Looking around for a clock, she saw that it had been almost two hours since she had arrived. Trying to get more comfortable, she felt a twinge in her hip, about where the doctor had told her they would insert the needle to remove the marrow.

Half an hour later, a young man walked in, looking for all the world like a visitor as he walked over to her and took the chart off the end of her bed. "Ms. Halliwell, how are you feeling?"
"Ok, Who are you?"
"I'm the intern assigned to the donor program." he told her, looking through her chart, and making a few notations. "Your sign's are good, no nausea. How does your hip feel?"
"Sore, but still kinda numb."
"The local will be wearing off soon, and then you will really start to feel it. So I suggest you try to take it easy for several days." he told her, replacing her chart. "Do you feel up to a visitor? There is a man outside who seems very anxious to see you."
"Send him in." She replied, guessing who it was. As she waited, she sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed, trying to get some feeling back into her foot. Looking up as the door opened, she could tell by the expression on Morgan's face that something had gone terrible wrong.

"What?" she managed to ask, afraid to hear the answer.
"We don't know yet. Cole and I arrived at the manor to pick the girls up and found the back door open and the attic was trashed."
"Piper and Phoebe?"
"No sign of them, and there was no blood either. So we can still hope for the best."
"I have to get out of here!" she told him, looking around desperately for her clothes. Spotting them on a near by chair, she managed to limp into the bathroom and change. "Come on, help me get out of here." she said to Morgan as she re-emerged five minutes later.

Victor stood, there in the wreckage of the attic, trying to find the BOS. He knew Morgan would be back soon with Prue and that the book would be the first thing she would want. He was still not used to the idea of things like this happening. He shuddered at the thought of what could be happening to his girls. Just as he finally managed to uncover the book, he heard the front door slam closed, and knew the eldest had returned.

Trying to go up the stairs, Prue's leg just did not seem to want to work. Seeing his love's predicament, Morgan scooped her up, rushing to the attic as Prue called out for Leo. Arriving in the attic, she could only stare, her fear for her sisters growing at the sight of the mess in the attic.

"Prue? Are you sure you’re up to this?" Victor asked, concerned at seeing Morgan carry her in.
"Yes, I have to be." she replied, a look of determination on her face. She would find her sisters, no matter how she felt. Stepping to the podium, she silently asked her gram an mom for help, Phoebe knew the book much better the she did, and she had a feeling, she would need all the help she could get. As she stood there, the pages started flipping, finally landing on a page showing a demon.

Noltec, one of the few demons who spend almost all there time as a human, learning the ways of the modern world, finding ways to defeat witches through technology.

Looking up, she suddenly had a bad feeling she had already had the chance to meet him, thirty years ago. 'thanks' she thought to the air, looking up. Reading further, she found a note, written at the very bottom of the page. 'It will take at least two Warren descendants to find the demon, and the hidden one to defeat him' . Puzzled, she closed the book, Who really had her sisters?

She awoke in total darkness, her body aching from the demons falling on her. Where was she? Where was...

"Phoebe?" she called out, praying for an answer. The last sight she had had of her was as some kind of bright energy ball struck her, and then blackness had enveloped her. Was she blind? Was that why there was no light? Reaching out her hands, she started feeling her way around.

The room she was in was not very big she discovered as she took a few hesitant steps before she felt the wall. Was she alone here? Feeling further, she found another cot like the one she had been laying on, and on it was a lump, a lump that felt electric to the touch. A lump that was not moving.

"Phoebe?"

Her heart was in her throat as she felt around, trying to discover what the lump on the bed was. As she moved her right hand, it brushed against something, and sparks of electricity seemed to jump, causing her to both pull back and breath a sigh of relief at the sight of it. The best thing though, was the momentary flash of her baby sisters’ face, her eye's blinking at her.

"Phoebe? Are you ok?"
"N-n-n-ot r-r-r-really."
"Are you hurt?" she asked, not liking the way she sounded.
"J-j-j-just feel l-l-like I'm b-b-b-being sh-sh-shocked, all the-the t-t-t-ime." Phoebe managed to say, her whole body trembling, as though she was holding onto a live wire. She had woken up earlier but her body was to tense for her to stand, and when she had heard Piper calling her, she had not been able to reply. Only after she had touched her, releasing some of the charge was she able to answer.

Moving back over to the bed, Piper fumbled around until she managed to find her sisters hand. Together, they waited, hoping their oldest sister would find them, drawing comfort and strength from each other.

"LEO!" Prue shouted, needing to find out more about Noltec. As she waited for him to appear, her mind kept returning to the last line in the book. Who was the hidden one? And how was she supposed to find Noltec without her...."Timothy."
"What about him?' Leo asked as he orbed in behind her, causing her to jump.
"Don't do that!" she scolded him, "and where have you been?"
"Talking to the Elders. Seems there is a hostel take over about to start in the demonic realm, and we have landed right in the middle of it."
"S what else is new. What do you know about a demon named Noltec?"
"Just that he uses technology like most demons uses spells. He is also able to time travel. Why?" he asks her.
"I'm not sure yet, but the book turned to a page on him. I need to find him, I think he has Piper and Phoebe, but the only way to find him is with two Warren decedents, that leaves me. Do you think Timothy will be able to help? He is a descendent, in a rather strange way."
"But will it work?" Leo asked.
"I don't know, but what other choice do we have?"

Seeing the determined look in the oldest eye's, Leo almost felt sorry for any demon she encountered, you did not mess with her family, not unless you had her first, because she was like a mother lion when it came to her sisters, swift and fearless to react.

Turning, she headed for the door, only to stop suddenly as pain flared from her hip, turning, she looked at her brother-in-law, "I don't suppose," she said.

Walking over to her, he raised his hand to her hip, but nothing happened, "Sorry." he said, looking ashamed.
"I didn't think so anyway. " she told him, "but I thought I would try."

When they got back to the hospital, they snuck into the room where Timothy slept, his dreams troubled by what he had learned, images running through his mind of horrors he had never imagined. He woke up, sweaty and out of breath, wishing it was all a dream, only to find his 'twin' standing at the foot of the bed, a look of determination on her face as she gently shook his leg.

"Hi brother," she said, "we need your help."
"How?"
"We need to find our sisters, and for that, you need your powers."
"But, I don't..."
"Yes, you do. They are just locked away, but I can release them." Looking at a piece of paper in her hand, she started to read.

Secrets hidden in the past
the time for truth has come at last.
Powers bound by secrets made
release them now on this day

As strange sensation over came him as she said the words, as though he had suddenly found the missing piece of his soul. A strange feeling of power swept over him, filling his body with energy and leaving his skin tingling.

"What... what just happened?" he said looking at her, his eyes wide. Raising his hands he was startled when a blue glow surrounded them, spreading up his arms until it covered his whole body. Just as suddenly, it stopped, leaving him feeling healthy for the first time in months.
"Well, I think I know what power you got." Prue said, looking down at where her hand rested on his leg
"What? How?"
"I was touching you when the glow spread. Now my hip doesn't hurt anymore."
"You mean...I just...wow." he said, still looking at his hands.
"Ok, now Timothy..."
"Call me Tim, please, we are family." he told her, giving her a crooked grin. He jumped when he heard a voice from by the door, calling to them softly.
"I have to go, I will meet you in a little while." and then he saw sparkling blue lights appear, swirling up and gone.

An hour later, having snuck out of the hospital, they arrived back at the manor to find Victor pacing in the hallway, and Cole and Morgan looking at him like the wanted to tie him down. As they walked in, Morgan looked at her and then leaned over to Cole and whispered, "Now we know where 'she' gets it from."

"I heard that!" she said, as she and Tim headed up the stairs, leaving the others wondering what was going on. As she opened the attic door, the blue glow of Leo orbing in faded as he formed in front of them.
"Well," he said, "Tim does have the power to heal, but it is more like first aid then what I do."
"So he can heal tempo
