“ Get a life, Prue, and stay out of mine,” Phoebe yelled at her eldest sister.

“ I can’t. I have to watch over you because you are so irresponsible,” Prue yelled back.

“ No, I’m not! I am very responsible.”

“ How many times have I heard that one?”

“ Well, at least I am not a paranoid, everything has to be perfect, freak!”

“ I am not like that and you know it!”

“ Yeah, sure.”

“ Well thank God I am not irresponsible and steal!”

“ Hey, I am not irresponsible and I do not steal!”

“ Remember that necklace Grams bought me for my birthday that one year? You know, it had that heart shaped locket? You stole it, then broke it!”

“ That was years ago! Can’t you just let it go?”

“ Maybe I will start to let it go when you start acting like an adult and not a baby!”

“ I’m not the baby! You are! You’re the one who is holding the grudge!”

“ Well, maybe if I didn’t have an annoying little sister like you then, I would be able to let it go! As you can see, I hold nothing against Piper because she isn’t annoying!”

“ I hate you, Prue! I wish you weren’t my sister,” Phoebe shouted as she ran upstairs to
her room and then slammed her bedroom door.

Frustrated, Prue stormed out of the house, passing Piper on the way who had just came home to hear Phoebe shout that she hated Prue.

“ Prue.” Piper called out to her sister who was getting into the car. Prue slammed the
door, started the car and drove off. Piper figured Prue was going to Buckland to spend the night in her office.

Sighing Piper took off her jacket and closed the door behind her. She had just gotten
home from her work job to go to her sisterly job. Mediator. She climbed the stairs and went to Phoebe’s bedroom door and knocked.

“ Go away,” came Phoebe’s angry voice from inside her room.

“ Pheebs, it’s me,” Piper said softly. The door opened and Phoebe’s face appeared
between the door and the door frame. Her face was filled with anger.

“ What,” Phoebe asked.

“ What happened? You and Prue were fine when I left.”

“ Prue is acting like her stupid, big headed, know it all self for the third time this week and
I have had it. I hate her.”

“ I know you are angry, Phoebe, but you don’t hate Prue.”

“ Yes, I do. She hounds me all the time. Just me. She never says anything to you.”

“ She’s not hounding you. She wants to make sure you’re doing okay. It’s her job to
know what’s going on.”

“ Yeah, but calling me a baby and irresponsible doesn’t seem to let her know what’s going on.”

“ She didn’t have the right to call you those things, but you didn’t have the right to say you hated, either.”

“ Well, what do you want me to do about it?”

“ Apologize.”

“ Apologize? She started it!”

“ It doesn’t matter who started it. All that matters is that you guys make up. You know the power of three suffers when two of the Charmed Ones are mad at each other.”

“ Furious at each other. Piper, I am not apologizing first.”

“ Pheebs, please, just say you are sorry because you are. You did not mean those things you said.”

“ Yes, I did,” Phoebe replied and slammed the door in Piper’s face.

Piper stood there for a minute and then turned around and walked down the stairs. She picked up her jacket, put it on and then headed for the car. She started the car and headed for Buckland. It was time for the mediator to work on Prue.

Piper arrived at Buckland and saw Prue’s car parked outside. Piper got out of the car and headed for the side door. She was hoping that it was unlocked so she could get in, but also hoping that it was locked so she knew that Prue had been safe with the door locked.

The wind whipped around Piper. She pulled her jacket tighter around her. She reached
the door and put her hand on the metal handle. It was freezing. She turned the knob and it was unlocked.

Piper opened the door and stepped inside. It was dark inside, but Piper located the stairs and walked up them. She walked down the hallway and found Prue’s office. There was a light on, but the door was closed.

Piper knocked gently on the door. After a few moments of nothing happening Piper knocked again. Suddenly the door swung open quickly and Prue was standing there with a stapler in her hand, raised above her head. Piper let out a shriek and jumped quickly out of the doorway.

“ God, Prue, what the hell are you doing,” Piper asked facing her sister who had just brought her arm down.

“ I thought you were a demon or warlock or just a plain criminal or something. I’m sorry, Piper.”

“ You have telekinesis. What were you going to do? Staple me to death?”

“ I was going to hit you over the head with it. What are you doing here?”

“ I came to bring you home.”

“ I am not going home, Piper.”

“ Please. Just come home and say you are sorry and everything will be okay.”

“ It’s not that easy, Piper,” Prue said, walking into her office and sitting down on the couch. Piper followed Prue and sat down next to her.

“ What do you mean, Prue?”

“ Our fighting has gotten to the point where she said she hated me and meant it.”

“ I know, but she was angry.”

“ It hurt Piper, it really hurt. I know I said some things I shouldn’t have said and they must have hurt her, too, but what she said hurt the most. How would you feel if Phoebe said she hated you?”

“ That would probably hurt me too, Prue, but you can come home and let Phoebe cool off until tomorrow and then apologize. You know Phoebe, she will be better tomorrow.”

“ I think I will just sleep here.”

“ Prue, you know how I hate it when you sleep in your office. Come home, it’s late. Tomorrow you’ll apologize and it will be all better. Please.”

Prue looked at Piper. Piper looked very tired and she was trying not to show it. They must have wore her out even more. Prue nodded. She decided to go home and spare Piper of worrying about her all night.

“ I’ll be down in a minute,” Prue said, “ Just let me put some stuff away before I go.”

“ Okay,” Piper agreed as she stood up. She headed out the door and down the stairs. A loud scream erupted from upstairs as Piper reached the bottom step. Piper spun around and raced back up the stairs to Prue’s office.

Piper ran into Prue’s office and let out a loud shriek. Prue’s desk was flipped over. A lamp was all bloody and lying next to a blood covered, unconscious, possibly dead Prue. A scorch mark was on the wall behind the flipped over desk.

Eyes filling with tears, Piper ran over to Prue. Before she could reach her, Prue disappeared. She vanished in a bright light. All that was left was a puddle of blood on the floor where Prue was just laying.

Piper started to freak out. Her hands and voice shaking she called out for Leo. One question kept running through her mind, “ What happened to her sister?”

“ I can’t sense her,” Leo said after opening his eyes.

“ Does, does, that mean? She ca-can’t be,” Piper stuttered.

“ No, I don’t think so, Piper. If she died, her body would remain. Come on, let me take you home.”

“ Leo, would you look at this mess? There is a puddle of blood on the floor, her desk is flipped over, there is a freaking black mark on the wall! We have no clue what happened or where my sister is!”

Piper broke down. She walked over to the couch and sat down with her face buried in her hands. Leo sat down next to Piper and pulled her into a hug.

“ We will find Prue,” Leo comforted, “ Let’s go home.”

“ No,” Piper’s voice came from beneath her hands. She stood up and walked over to the desk, “ No, we have to clean this mess up, or at least hide it, for now. If we don’t have Prue by tomorrow someone will come in this office, see this, and call the police.”

Leo nodded and walked over to the desk. They pulled the desk up together and put it over the puddle of blood. Then, they moved a filing cabinet in front of the scorch mark. Piper picked up the lamp and put it in a bag. They put everything back on the desk and in its drawers. Piper walked over to the door and looked at the room.

“ I think we can leave it like this for now,” Piper said, “ You can’t see any blood or anything. We will have to clean it some other time. Right now, we find Prue.”

“ I’ll orb you back to the Manor,” Leo said pulling Piper into him. They orbed to the living room. Phoebe was sitting straight up on the couch looking worried. When Leo and Piper were in the Manor, Phoebe jumped up and hugged Piper.

“ Where were you,” Phoebe asked, hugging Piper. She got no response so she let go and looked into Piper’s face, “ What’s wrong?”

“ It’s Prue,” Piper replied, “ I went to Buckland. I got her to agree to come home. I started to the car and then there was a scream and I ran back upstairs to Prue. Her stomach and chest was covered in blood. I went to her, but she disappeared in a bright light. Leo can’t sense her. We don’t know where she is.”

Phoebe’s mouth dropped open and she slowly sat on the couch.

“ Oh, my God, Piper. The last thing I said to her was that I wished she wasn’t my sister and that I hated her,” Phoebe whispered, fighting the lump forming in her throat, “ What if something happened that she could be dead? I will never forgive myself if Prue has that as
her last memory of us together.”

Piper sat down next to Phoebe and hugged her.

“ Come on, Pheebs,” Piper said, “ We’ll go do some spells and see if we can find Prue. If she died, her body would remain.”

“ I’ll go check with the Elders and see if they know something,” Leo volunteered.

Piper nodded and Leo orbed out. Piper and Phoebe headed to the attic. On the way up the attic stairs, Phoebe stopped and stared at something on one of the steps. Piper, not noticing, continued up into the attic.

“ We can try a summoning spell first, Phoebe,” Piper suggested, “ Phoebe?”

Piper turned around and noticed Phoebe wasn’t there. She headed back to the stairs and saw Phoebe crouching down looking at something.

“ Pheebs, what are you doing,” Piper asked.

“ Does this look like blood to you,” asked Phoebe. Piper walked down a couple of steps
and saw a few drops of a red liquid that looked very much like blood.

“ I think so,” Piper replied, “ Hey, there’s a trail.”

Down the rest of the attic stairs was a trail of blood leading into the hallway. Phoebe and Piper followed the drops of blood to Prue’s room. Phoebe looked into Prue’s room and screamed at the sight she saw. Piper didn’t reach Prue’s room yet and she was scared to look inside after Phoebe had screamed.

Piper fearing the worst, looked into Prue’s room. She didn’t see anything so she walked in. Phoebe was up against the hall wall wondering why her sister had gone in there.

“ Phoebe, why did you scream? I don’t see anything that,” Piper started, but stopped when she saw why Phoebe had screamed.

Lying in the middle of Prue’s bed was a puddle of dark red blood. There was a white envelope lying next to the blood. Knowing it had to be read and ignoring her very queasy stomach, Piper picked up the envelope and took out the letter inside.

Slowly Piper started to read the letter out loud, “ I thought this blood goes perfect here. I mean, it is your sister’s bed and it is your sister’s blood.”

Piper covered her mouth with her hand. She dropped the letter and ran out of Prue’s room to Phoebe. She just stared into Prue’s room breathing heavily through her nose. Phoebe remained against the wall, with her face very pale.

“We have to get Prue back as soon as possible,” Piper said after a minute of staring into Prue’s room.

Phoebe nodded in agreement and they headed up the stairs into the attic. Halfway to the Book of Shadows Leo orbed in front of them and they stopped abruptly.

“ Leo,” Phoebe said relieved, “ Did you find out anything?”

“ Yeah,” Leo replied, “ Prue was taken by a demon that lives in another dimension. He can come here and then go back to his dimension whenever he pleases. His name is Rynstel.”

“ So, this demon took Prue and decided to come back and make our life a horror movie,” Piper asked loudly. Leo just looked at Piper confused. Piper shook her head, “ Never mind. What can we do to get Prue back?”

“ The Elders are working on it,” Leo replied.

“ Well, go up there and supervise or wait or something,” Phoebe said, waving her arms at Leo, “ Come back when you get some more information.”

Leo nodded and orbed out.

“ Phoebe, why don’t you check the Book of Shadows for Rynstel,” Piper suggested, “And I’ll go get that letter to show Leo when he comes back.”

“ Alright,” Phoebe agreed and headed over to the Book of Shadows.

Piper headed out of sight and Phoebe started flipping through the Book of Shadows.

“ Phoebe, Phoebe,” Piper’s voice came from downstairs, high pitched and shaky.

Phoebe ran from the Book of Shadows, down the attic stairs, to Piper, who was standing
next to the staircase leading to the first floor.

“ What is it,” Phoebe asked.

“ There’s another trail,” Piper whispered and pointed to the staircase.

The staircase had drops of blood leading down them, to the hallway, and then to the left. Phoebe and Piper just stared at the blood. They stood like statues, fear kept them solid.

Piper took a deep breath and took a step down. Slowly, she walked down the stairs,
followed by Phoebe. They walked out into the hallway and the trail of blood continued
into the kitchen.

“ I’m not going in there,” Piper said.

“ So, what are we going to do,” Phoebe asked, “ Just stand here?”

“ I don’t know, Phoebe. This is scary. I just don’t know what to do.”

“ I think we should go into the kitchen. Maybe we will have a clue how to get Prue back.”

Piper nodded and walked slowly toward the kitchen. She stopped when she got close to the door. She decided not to look. Not to see what awaited in the kitchen. Phoebe decided to be brave. She stepped into the kitchen and then slowly backed out, with her hand covering her mouth.

“ That’s, that’s too much blood,” Phoebe stuttered and then ran upstairs to the bathroom, ready to vomit.

Piper remained to the side of the kitchen doorway. She knew there would be blood. She turned slowly and stood in the kitchen doorway with her eyes closed. She took a deep breath, opened her eyes, and gasped. She didn’t know how her stomach was able to remain strong. The sight before her had made Phoebe sick, though she, who always thought of herself as weak in the stomach, remained strong.

There was a trail of blood that led to the refrigerator. On the refrigerator door was a big spot of blood which ran down to the floor. In front of the refrigerator door was another puddle of blood. Next to the blood was a white envelope.

Piper stood still. Another envelope. Another letter from the creature that took her sister. She had to read it. She knew she had to, but she wasn’t sure if she could. She slowly bent down and picked up the envelope. She took a deep breath and then took out the letter with shaking hands.

Slowly Piper started to read the letter quietly to herself, “ Your sister is looking very pale. Do you think it is from hunger or loss of blood? You decide.”

Piper was expecting it. She was expecting the crude message. Even though she was expecting it, she still got very queasy. She was almost positive that her stomach was going to give and then she would have to run to the bathroom like Phoebe, but
surprisingly she didn’t.

Phoebe came back downstairs and into the kitchen, with her hand on her stomach. She was pale in the face and it looked like she was going to be sick again.

“ I don’t know how you, or shall I say, your stomach is so strong,” Phoebe said.

“ Me either,” Piper replied, “ Leo, Leo!”

Leo orbed into the kitchen next to Piper.

“ You,” Leo started as he looked around, “ Called? What happened?

“ Rynstel seems to be getting a kick at putting Prue’s blood around the house and leaving notes, like this one,” Piper said handing the note to Leo, who started reading it.

“ He left another one,” Phoebe asked Piper.

Piper nodded. Leo finished reading the letter and then looked up at Piper.

“ This is horrible,” Leo said, “ What a sick jerk.”

“ I have a better word for him,” Phoebe said.

“ I do, too,” Piper added.

“ I was just going to orb to you guys,” Leo said, changing the subject, “ The Elders found a way for you to get to Prue. You have to go as soon as you can. Apparently, she has lost a lot of blood. You have to go there, get her, and then come back. If you see Rynstel, just try to ignore him and get to Prue, you can’t waste time with him. You need a potion to vanquish him, but you can do that later. Prue needs you now.”

“ What do we have to do,” Piper asked.

“ Say this,” Leo replied and handed Piper a piece of paper.

Piper and Phoebe read over the spell to themselves.

“ Okay, Leo,” Phoebe replied, “ I’m guessing the second one is to get back?”

“ Yeah,” Leo answered, “ Remember, as fast as you can.”

“ Okay,” Piper agreed.

Piper and Phoebe said the spell together, “ Together take us, hand in hand. Take us to the other land.”

Piper and Phoebe vanished away and left Leo standing alone in the kitchen. They appeared in a deep pit. Smoke arose above them and the temperature was very high.

“ It’s as hot as hell,” Piper said.

“ So, this demon made his dimension a replica of hell,” Phoebe asked, “ That’s nice. You know how fast we can get a tan here?”

“ Come on,” Piper said, pulling Phoebe.

They started walking around in the pit. Each step burned their feet. After searching quickly, they found Prue. She was covered in blood and they could tell she was badly sun burned from being there, even though there was no sun.

“ Oh, God, Prue,” Piper exclaimed, “ Let’s get out of here.”

Piper took one of Prue’s hands and Phoebe took the other.

“ I don’t think so,” a dark voice came from behind them.

Piper and Phoebe spun around. A man with dark hair and dark eyes stood behind them. They knew it was Rynstel. If he wasn’t a demon, Piper figured that Phoebe would have dated him.

“ Just say the spell,” Piper whispered and Phoebe nodded in reply.

“ How about no,” Rynstel said. His arm stretched out and he grabbed Piper and pulled
her to him, “ If you get that one, I get this one.”

“ No,” Phoebe cried out.

Piper tried to get away, but she couldn’t. He was too strong.

“ No,” Rynstel asked, “ Then, what about your dying sister?”

“ Take Prue home,” Piper said, still struggling to get away.

“ No, I am not going to leave you, Piper,” Phoebe argued.

“ But, Prue will die,” Piper argued back, “ I’ll be okay. Go!”

Phoebe wasn’t sure what to do. Prue looked horrible. She needed to get Prue home, but she couldn’t leave Piper.

“ I mean it, Phoebe,” Piper yelled, “ Go!”

Phoebe had to obey Piper. If Prue died, Phoebe would never be able to forgive herself. She held on to Prue’s hand tighter.

“ Together take us, hand in hand. Take us to our home land,” Phoebe said.

Prue and Phoebe vanished and Piper was left alone in the other dimension with Rynstel. If only Phoebe knew what she was leaving Piper behind with.

“ Piper’s still there,” Leo asked shocked as he healed Prue.

“ He must have knew we were coming,” Phoebe explained, “ He was waiting for us. Could Piper say the spell and then get back here on her own?”

“ No,” Leo replied, “ It wouldn’t be strong enough if she said it by herself. This is taking a while.”

Leo stopped healing Prue and sat back on his heels.

“She’s not going to die, is she,” Phoebe asked concerned.

“ No, but it is getting really hard to heal her,” Leo answered, “ Maybe we should get her to the hospital. It’s not just that she has these stab wounds, but she is also badly burned. Being up there must have burned her.”

“ And now Piper is up there,” Phoebe said quietly, “ Just keep healing her, Leo, please. I don’t have time to think of a reason why she has multiple stab wounds to her body and why she is badly burned.”

Leo nodded in understandment and then started to heal Prue again.

“ Potion, potion, potion,” Phoebe whispered to herself as she looked around the counter for the potion ingredients list that Leo had put on the counter.

Phoebe found the list and started getting all the ingredients out. She took out a pot and started to put the ingredients in it. She turned the stove on and then let the ingredients simmer together. Then, she walked over to Leo and crouched down next to him.

“ How’s it going, Leo,” Phoebe asked as Prue began to stir.

“I’m doing the best I can,” Leo answered, “ The wounds have healed it’s just the burns that are not doing too well.”

Prue opened her eyes.

“ Phoebe,” Prue whispered.

“ Hey, Prue, welcome back,” Phoebe replied.

“ That’s all I can do for you Prue,” Leo said, sitting back on his heels again, “ I can’t heal you anymore. Sorry.”

“ It’s okay,” Prue said as Phoebe helped her sit up, “ It doesn’t hurt too bad. Where’s Piper?”

“ Um, she’s with, uh Rynstel,” Phoebe said quietly.

“ What,” Prue exclaimed as she stood up painfully without using anyone’s offered help, “You left her up there after you saw what he did to me?”

“ It was the only way to save your life,” Phoebe defended standing up, also.

“ What exactly did he do to you, Prue,” Leo asked as he stood up, too.

“ An evil being, I don’t know if it was a demon or a warlock that attacked, but one did. Rynstel, he called himself, appeared and burned that evil thing against the wall,” Prue explained, “ Then, he tried to, well, put a move on me. A sexual move. So, I hit him over the head with a lamp. That broke and he was really angry that I refused him so he started to stab me with a broken piece of the lamp. Then, I blacked out. I don’t know what happened to me while I was out and I don’t want to know either. He just can’t do anything to Piper. I won’t let him. He can have me back as long as he lets her go.”

“ So, you’re saying I left Piper with a perverted demon,” Phoebe asked.

“ I wish I could tell you differently, but yes,” Prue replied.

“ Oh, my God,” Phoebe exclaimed, “ What kind of sister am I? How stupid am I? What if he does something to her? I can’t believe I left her up there!”

“ Phoebe you are not stupid,” Prue said, “ You didn’t know.”

“ The potions bubbling,” Leo interrupted them, not getting into the conversation. He didn’t want to be part of the conversation.

“ Oh,” Phoebe cried out hurrying over to the stove.

Phoebe turned off the stove and then added the last ingredient. The potion let out a loud bang and smoke arose from the pot.

“ It’s done,” Phoebe announced, “ Let’s go get Piper.”

Prue walked over to the stove and helped Phoebe put the potion into two bottles. They each took a bottle. Prue walked over to Leo. She looked into his eyes and placed her
hand on his cheek.

“ We will get Piper back, Leo,” Prue reassured him, “ Don’t worry, we will get her back.”

Leo nodded and tried to smile, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t think of Piper left with a demon who could be abusing her, physically and sexually.

Prue walked back over to Phoebe and they took each others hand. They said the spell together and vanished to the other dimension.

“ I forgot how hot it was up here,” Phoebe said.

“ Come on, let’s find Piper,” Prue said.

Prue and Phoebe started walking around the pit. They scanned over the pit as far as they could see, but they didn’t find Piper.

“ Where is she,” Phoebe asked.

“ I don’t know,” Prue replied.

“ You mean her,” Rynstel’s voice came from behind them.

Prue and Phoebe spun around to face Rynstel. Prue gasped, covered her mouth and she shut her eyes and Phoebe turned her head to the side away from the dreadful, barely recognizable sight of their sister.

The sight was horrifying. Their sister hanging limply from a rope tied around her waist. Her blood dripping down her barely covered body. Dripping from her mouth, from her cracked, burned skin, from the gash on her forehead, dripping to a puddle below her. Her face was swollen and bruised. It hurt to look at her. It hurt to look at their gentle sister who was treated in every way, but gentle.

“ What’s wrong,” Rynstel asked, “ Don’t like her new look?”

“ You perverted asshole,” Phoebe shouted and threw the potion at Rynstel.

Rynstel pulled the rope and Piper swung in front of him. The potion hit Piper’s side and started bubbling on her bare skin. Phoebe shrieked and covered her mouth.

“ I hit her with the potion and left her with a perverted demon and look at her,” Phoebe said to Prue, “ How could she ever forgive me?”

“ Phoebe it’s not your fault the potion hit her,” Prue replied, “ It’s the perverted asshole’s fault. Now listen, you had good aim, so you take the potion and I’ll distract. When you think the time is right, you throw the potion.”

“ Okay,” Phoebe agreed and took the potion from Prue.

Prue walked over to Rynstel. She stood in front of him and locked her eyes with his. She could tell that even though he kept eyes with her that he was aware of Phoebe moving and knew where she was.

“ What,” Rynstel asked Prue.

Prue tried to send Rynstel back with telekinesis, but it didn’t work. It didn’t effect him at all.

“ Different world,” Rynstel said, “ Different rules.”

Prue then kicked Rynstel in the stomach. He remained still, unharmed. He didn’t even blink.

“ Again, Different world, different rules,” Rynstel said, smiling.

Phoebe crept closer to Prue and Rynstel. Prue saw Rynstel look at Phoebe quick. Prue knew Piper needed help badly. She knew of only one way to getting Rynstel’s complete attention. She didn’t want to do it, but she would do anything for Piper. So, she placed her hands on Rynstel’s face and, through total disgust, pulled his lips to hers.

Phoebe jumped back when she saw what Prue did. Still lip locked, Prue spun Rynstel so his back was facing Phoebe. That was Phoebe’s cue so she threw the potion at Rynstel. When the potion broke on Rynstel’s back, Prue immediately jumped away from him. Rynstel turned around and faced Phoebe.

“ Okay, this is a new shirt,” Rynstel said, “ And if I hadn’t just kissed your sister then you could have been in trouble.”

Prue, wiping her mouth on her sleeve over and over again, ran over to Phoebe.

“ Prue, how come it didn’t work,” Prue asked.

“ I don’t know, Phoebe,” Prue said irritated, “ But, I just kissed that creep and everything is screwed up in this dimension and I have no clue how to get Piper back home because we have no way, that we know of, to defeat this creep.”

“ We have to go back home and found out what the hell happened with the potion,” Phoebe said, “ That’s what we have to do.”

“ But, we can’t leave Piper,” Prue argued.

“ But, the sooner we get there, the sooner we come back and get Piper back home,” Phoebe argued back.

“ Okay, your right,” Prue agreed.

Phoebe looked over at Rynstel, who was staring at them.

“ God, he keeps staring at us,” Phoebe complained.

“ We’ll be back, asshole,” Prue said to Rynstel, ignoring Phoebe.

“ Oh, your leaving,” Rynstel asked, “ When you get home see if Leo has regained consciousness yet for me, will you?”

“ Leo,” Phoebe breathed.

Prue grabbed Phoebe’s hand and they quickly said the return home spell. They vanished from the other dimension and reappeared in the kitchen. There was a fresh trail of blood leading out of the kitchen, down the hall, and into the living room. Prue and Phoebe ran down the hall and into the living room and found Leo lying in a puddle of blood, unconscious.

“ Phoebe, go get warm water and a towel,” Prue commanded as she ran to the phone, picked it up and dialed nine, one, one. The busy signal sounded and Prue slammed the phone down, “ God damn it! Nine, one, one is busy!”

“ Prue,” Phoebe yelled from upstairs.

Prue ran up the stairs two at a time. She didn’t see Phoebe in the hall so she ran into Phoebe’s room. On the floor was a white envelope. Prue bent down, picked it up and took out the letter inside.

“ Don’t look behind you,” Prue read quietly.

Prue lifted her head up and screamed. She didn’t have to look behind her because she could easily see her youngest sister hanging from a rope, tied around her neck, through the mirror in front of her.

“ Phoebe,” Prue screamed as she spun around to face her sister who was gasping for air.

Prue ran to get the chair in the corner of Phoebe’s room. Prue dragged the chair over to Phoebe and lifted her up so she could stand on it. The rope was still tight and choking her, so Prue took a pair of scissors off the desk and started cutting the rope above
Phoebe’s head.

The rope eventually cut and Phoebe fell off the chair and onto the floor. Prue kneeled
down next to her and loosened the rope. Where the rope was on Phoebe’s neck was red and started to swell.

“ Phoebe, are you okay,” Prue asked.

Phoebe nodded still breathing heavily.

“ It was Rynstel,” Phoebe said once she regained normal breathing, “ He came from behind me and put the rope around my neck. I screamed for you, then he tightened it and it attached itself to ceiling.”

Prue looked up at the rope that was still hanging. It was attached to the ceiling. Prue
figured that it was magically stuck there.

“Oh no, Phoebe,” Prue said quickly as she stood up and helped Phoebe up, “ We forgot about Leo.”

Prue and Phoebe ran down the hall to the stairs.

“ But, Prue, Rynstel was with us the whole time,” Phoebe said as they went quickly down the stairs, “ How could he have done anything to Leo?”

“ We’ll worry about that later,” Prue said as they ran into the living room.

Prue ran over to Leo and started looking over him to see where the blood had come from. All Prue found was a bump on his head where something must have hit him and knocked him out.

“ Phoebe, this isn’t Leo’s blood,” Prue said relieved, “ He just got knocked out that’s all.”

“ Well, if it isn’t Leo’s blood, then, whose blood is it,” Phoebe asked.

That’s when Prue saw it. Another white envelope lying on the floor next to the puddle of blood. Prue picked up the envelope and took out the letter.

“ You thought it was his blood,” Prue read aloud, “ Now you know it isn’t, right? Whose is it, you ask? Maybe, his girlfriend’s?”

“ Piper’s blood,” Phoebe said, “ First you, then Piper, next me.”

“ I won’t let him get you Phoebe,” Prue said, “ We better get Leo up and try to fix the potion soon. This is getting way too gross.”

Prue shook Leo and he started to move. He turned his head to the side and opened his eyes.

“ Leo, are you all right,” Phoebe asked.

“ Ow,” Leo said as he sat up and rubbed his head, “ What happened?”

“ That’s what I was going to ask you,” Prue answered.

“ I was hit from behind,” Leo replied, “ Where’s Piper and what am I covered in?”

“ Piper’s with Rynstel and blood,” Phoebe answered.

“ What,” Leo asked, “ Why is she still up there?”

“ Because the potion didn’t work,” Phoebe replied.

“ What do you mean it didn’t work,” Leo asked.

“ We threw both of them, the one that hit him didn’t do anything, but get his shirt wet,” Phoebe said, “ Maybe there was something wrong with the potion ingredients you gave me, Leo.”

“ It was from the Elders, they wouldn’t give me the wrong potion ingredients,” Leo replied, “And I need a shower.”

“ But, Leo, can you go up there and check with the Elders to make sure the potion is correct,” Phoebe asked.

“ Okay, just let me get a quick shower,” Leo answered.

“ You know where it is,” Prue replied.

Leo left upstairs and Phoebe sat down on the couch.

“ This is all my fault,” Prue said.

“ Oh no, Prue, don’t start,” Phoebe warned, “ It’s not your fault. You always blame
yourself, but it’s not your fault.”

“ Yes, it-”

“ No, it’s not. Please, let’s not get into this.”

“ But, Phoebe-”

“ But, Prue, just stop. We should be worrying about how to get Piper back.”

Prue sat down on the couch next to Phoebe.

“ Any suggestions,” Prue asked.

“ You could always use your nice plan of distraction again,” Phoebe answered.”

“ That was gross, Phoebe.”

“ Yeah and it was long.”

“ Most horrible thing I ever did.”

“ Yeah and it was long.”

“ I can’t believe I did that!”

“ Yeah and it was long.”

“ Would you stop?”

“ I’ve never seen Piper and Leo kiss that long and they are in puppy love.”

“ Really, you can stop any time.”

“ I haven’t even kissed a guy that long!”

Prue picked up a pillow and whacked Phoebe with it. Leo came back downstairs wearing only a towel around his waist.

“ Leo,” Prue exclaimed.

“ What,” Leo asked, “ It’s not like I have clothes here. I was just going to get clothes on and then check with the Elders.”

“ Okay,” Prue replied, “ You do that.”

Leo orbed out and Prue sighed.

“ So, how was the kiss,” Phoebe asked.

Prue whacked Phoebe with the pillow, again and then walked out of the room to the kitchen. Phoebe got off the couch and ran into the kitchen after Prue.

“ It was innocent question,” Phoebe said, “ Did he try to tongue wrestle?”

“ Phoebe,” Prue exclaimed and then she looked at the potion ingredient list.

“ What?”

“ That was gross.”

“ What? I just wanted to know if there was any tongue.”

“ Phoebe, I would never french a demon.”

“ Maybe you wouldn’t french him, but he would french you.”

“ Okay, we are getting off this subject.”

“ What about the kiss?”

“ What about it?”

“ What was it like?”

“ It was a kiss.”

“ Was it good?”

“ I am now getting off this subject. What is taking Leo so long?”

“ It was a good kiss, wasn’t it? You liked his kiss!”

“ No, I didn’t. Didn’t you see me wiping it off a billion times after?”

“ Well, we always wiped off Grams kisses and that never ment we didn’t like them. We just didn’t like her lipstick on us. He wasn’t wearing lipstick, was he?”

“ No, he wasn’t. Now where is Leo? Did he get lost?”

“ I don’t know where Leo is, but he better hurry up.”

“ Now, Phoebe, are you sure you did the potion correctly?”

“ I know that Piper is the potion person, but I can still do potions and I know I did it right.”

“ Okay.”

Leo orbed into the kitchen, wearing a clean pair of clothes.

“ Here,” Leo said as he handed a piece of paper to Prue, “ It’s the potion. The Elders don’t know how they could have gave you the wrong one.”

“ See, it was the Elders fault,” said Phoebe.

“ Well, let’s make this one and go get Piper,” Prue said, throwing some things into the pot, “ Phoebe, put the rest of the stuff in the pot. Leo, come with me.”

Prue walked out of the kitchen and Leo followed while Phoebe continued to put ingredients into the pot.

“ What is it, Prue,” Leo asked as Prue stopped in the hallway and faced him.

“ The potion the Elders gave us the first time, what did it do,” asked Prue.

“ I’m not sure. Why?”

“ Because Phoebe accidentally hit Piper with the potion, all by Rynstel’s fault. That’s why I didn’t want Phoebe to hear, in case it was something bad.”

“ Do you want me to go find out what it does?”

“ Not now. Wait until we leave.”

“ Okay.”

Prue walked back into the kitchen followed by Leo. Phoebe was sitting at the kitchen table, staring at the stove.

“ Earth to Phoebe,” Prue said in Phoebe’s ear. Phoebe jumped and looked over at Prue, who smiled, “ Watcha thinking about that it decided to take over your whole awareness?”

“ Nothing,” Phoebe answered.

“ I don’t buy that,” Prue replied.

“ Well, that’s all I am going to say,” Phoebe said as she got up to check on the potion.

“ Come on, tell me,” Prue begged as she followed Phoebe.

“ I hope this is done,” Phoebe said as she picked up the last .

“ Phoebe, I want to know. What’s wrong?”

“ Nothing.”

Phoebe threw the last ingredient into the potion. There was a loud pop and smoke arose.

“ Fine, don’t tell me,” Prue said, “ Let’s go get Piper.”

Prue and Phoebe put the potion into two bottles and each took one.

“ Hopefully this potion works,” Phoebe commented.

“ We’ll be back Leo,” Prue said.

Phoebe and Prue took each other’s hand and said the spell to go to the other dimension. They vanished and appeared in the other dimension.

“ We don’t have a plan, do we,” Phoebe asked.

“ God, damn it,” Prue exclaimed, “ I knew I forgot something.”

“ Oh great,” Phoebe said sarcastically.

“ Looking for me,” Rynstel asked from behind them.

Prue and Phoebe spun around. Piper laid on the ground in front of Rynstel, still looking horrible. Prue threw the potion at Rynstel. He moved to the side and the potion flew past him and broke on the ground behind him.

“ Give her back,” Prue shouted.

“ Yeah, okay,” Rynstel said laughing, “ It’s not that easy. What will you give me for her?”

“ Your life,” Prue answered.

“ I’m not stupid,” Rynstel said, “ I give you her and then you kill me, but if I have her I can easily kill her if you try to use another potion on me. So, give me something else for her.”

“ You can have me,” Prue replied.

“ No, Prue, don’t,” Phoebe whispered.

“ But, I don’t want you,” Rynstel said, “ I want my turn with the youngest.”

“ No,” Prue exclaimed, standing in front of Phoebe.

“ What do you do, witch,” Rynstel asked, “ Save the middle child or give the youngest, the baby of the family, to me?”

“ Take me,” Phoebe said and she ran to Rynstel.

“ Phoebe,” Prue exclaimed.

“ This shouldn’t be your decision to make,” Phoebe replied, “ Take Piper and go!”

Rynstel reached into Phoebe’s back pocket, making her jump. He took out the potion and threw it behind him. It broke on the ground.

“ I think you better have a plan next time,” Rynstel said to Prue, “ Now get out of here, before I kill them both.”

Prue just stood there. Rynstel took out a knife and held it at Phoebe’s throat.

“ I said go,” Rynstel said loudly, “ Take this body of blood and burned flesh and go.”

Rynstel kicked Piper closer to Prue and then pressed the knife harder into Phoebe’s neck. Prue ran to Piper and took her hand. She said the return home spell and they vanished from the other dimension back to their kitchen, leaving Phoebe behind.

“ Leo,” Prue called out, “ Leo!”

Leo orbed in and almost passed out at the sight of Piper’s barely recognizable, barely covered body.

“ Piper,” Leo exclaimed and he knelt down next to her and started to heal her.

“ Leo, did you find out anything about the potion,” Prue asked as she tiredly started to make another batch of potion.

“ They are trying to figure out what it does,” Leo replied.

“ You mean, they don’t know what they gave you,” Prue asked.

“ No,” Leo answered, “ They thought that it was the right potion, but one ingredient was wrong and it screwed up the whole thing. Where’s Phoebe?”

“ He wants a turn with all of us,” Prue replied.

“ Poor Phoebe,” Leo commented, “ Piper’s wounds have healed, but, like you, it’s the burns that aren’t healing.”

Piper slowly opened her eyes, looked at Leo, and smiled. Prue walked over to Piper and sat down next to her.

“ Are you okay,” Prue asked, “ What did he do to you?”

“ He beat me up, a lot,” Piper answered, “ I was his punching bag.”

“ I am so sorry,” Prue said as she hugged Piper and tried not to hurt her.

“ The Elders are calling me,” Leo stated, looking up, “ I’ll be right back.”

Leo orbed out and Piper let go of Prue and looked around.

“ Where’s Phoebe,” Piper asked, her face full of concern.

“ She’s in the other dimension,” Prue answered, “ He wouldn’t let you go until her got her. I wasn’t going to leave, but he threatened to kill you both.”

“ Oh no,” Piper said, “ Then, let’s get her back.”

“ I have to finish making the potion, first, Piper, then we go back up, with a plan this time. Why don’t you go upstairs, get some clothes on, and get the aloe, so I can put it on your burns. Just wait up there for me.”

“ Okay, Prue.”

Prue helped Piper stand up and Piper winced in the pain of the burns. Piper walked slowly out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Prue walked over to the potion and put a few more things in it. Leo orbed into the kitchen.

“ Where’s Piper,” Leo asked.

“ Why,” asked Prue, “ What did you find out?”

“ The area where the potion hit will die and then spread throughout the rest of her body. Eventually, it will kill Piper if we don’t stop it.”

Prue ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs to Piper’s room, followed by Leo. Prue burst into Piper’s room, making her jump as she finished putting on her shirt.

“ What is it, Prue,” Piper asked.

Prue ran over to Piper and lifted up her shirt where the potion hit her. Piper looked at Leo for answers. Prue kept poking Piper in the side. Piper just continued looking at Leo, searching for answers to why they were acting weird.

“ Do you feel that,” Prue asked.

“ Feel what,” Piper asked, scared.

“ Me poking you,” Prue answered.

“ You’re not poking,” Piper replied, trailing off as she saw Prue’s fingers jabbing into her side, but feeling absolutely nothing.

“ I don’t feel anything,” Piper cried out, “ I don’t feel anything!”

“ Piper, calm down,” Prue said.

“ Why am I not feeling anything,” Piper asked.

“ It’s because a potion hit you,” Prue answered.

“ A potion,” Piper asked, “ What potion?”

“ A potion that is killing you,” Leo answered.

“ I’m dying,” Piper asked loudly.

“ Unless we stop it,” Leo replied.

“ Well, stop it,” Piper cried out, “ Stop it, stop it, stop it!”

“ The Elders are working on it,” Leo said.

“ Who hit me with a potion,” Piper asked.

“ Phoebe,” Prue answered, “ But it wasn’t her fault. She threw it at Rynstel and he pulled you in front of him.”

“ I hate him,” Piper said, “ Look what he has done to us. He almost killed you, seems to be succeeding in killing me, and he has Phoebe now. I hate him.”

“ Me too,” Prue agreed, “ But, don’t worry, it’ll be okay. I know the Elders will help you, Piper, and we will get Phoebe back.”

Piper nodded and walked over to Leo and hugged him. He saved her life by healing her and he was always there to talk. Piper felt the pains of the burns, but didn’t mind it because she was in Leo’s arms.

“ I’ll go check on the potion,” Prue said and she left Piper’s room.

“ I’m glad you’re okay, Piper,” Leo said.

“ Okay,” Piper asked backing away, “ Okay? How am I okay? I’ve got burns that hurt every time I move and I am dying! How is that okay?”

“ I didn’t mean it that way. As in he didn’t rape you or kill you.”

“ Oh, God, Leo, I’m sorry. I’m just tired and scared. I can’t take much more of this.”

“ I know Piper, but Phoebe and Prue were doing the best they could while you were there. I think Prue will pull you guys through.”

“ But if he does something horrible to Phoebe I don’t know how I could take that. She is my baby sister and I am looking out for her. I don’t want him to hurt her.”

“ I know, Piper. Come here.”

Piper walked over to Leo and into his arms. Leo kissed Piper on the head and then took the aloe from her and put it on her neck and shoulders. Prue walked into Piper’s room holding two bottles of potion.

“ All done,” Prue announced.

“ That was fast,” Piper commented.

“ Yeah, I know,” Prue replied, “ Are you ready?”

Piper nodded and took a bottle of potion. Prue and Piper took each other’s hand.

“ Bye, Leo,” Piper said.

“ Be careful,” Leo replied.

“ Together take us hand in hand. Take us to the other land,” Prue and Piper said together.

Prue and Piper vanished from Piper’s room and appeared in the other dimension. They saw Phoebe in a metal cage, unconscious.

“ Phoebe,” Piper said and ran over to the cage, followed by Prue.

“ Hello, again,” Rynstel greeted as he stepped in front of Piper, making her stop, “ You are looking better, but badly burned. By the way, how is you side doing? Did you like my potion trick?”

“ You’re the one who screwed up the potion,” Prue asked.

“ Yes,” Rynstel answered, grinning.

Prue threw her potion at Rynstel, who stepped aside, letting the potion fly past him and
break behind him.

“ Damn it,” Prue shouted.

“ Maybe if you actually tried hitting me for once,” Rynstel said.

“ Give us our sister back,” Prue demanded

“ You see, I can’t, I need her,” Rynstel replied.

“ For what,” Piper asked.

“ Like I am going to tell you,” Rynstel answered.

“ Whatever it is, take me,” Prue said, stepping up to Rynstel.

“ Prue, no,” Piper said.

“ All right,” Rynstel agreed, “ I’ll take you instead.”

“ Just let me say goodbye to my sister,” Prue said and she turned to Piper, “ Piper, give me your potion. I have a plan. You take Phoebe and go to that dark area over there. Start saying the spell, but don’t finish it. Wait for me there.”

“ Okay,” Piper agreed and gave Prue her potion.

“ Let my sister go,” Prue said turning back to Rynstel.

“ You go in there, she comes out,” Rynstel replied.

“ I don’t trust you,” Prue admitted, “ You let her out first.”

“ Fine,” Rynstel agreed.

Rynstel opened the cage door and dragged Phoebe out. Prue walked into the cage as Piper dragged Phoebe to the dark area Prue had told her to go to. Prue heard Piper begin the spell. Rynstel walked into the cage and shut the door behind him.

“ I am going to kill you now,” Rynstel said.

“ Why,” Prue asked.

“ Do I have to have a reason?”

“ Yes.”

“ Because it is getting too hot up here. If I don’t kill anyone soon my dimension will blow up. Plus, it would just be fun.”

Rynstel walked closer to Prue. Prue turned around so her back was facing Rynstel. She uncapped the potion and put it in her mouth without Rynstel noticing. He spun Prue around and looked into her eyes.

“ One last kiss,” Rynstel said as he placed his lips on Prue’s.

“ Perfect timing,” Prue thought as the potion started to burn her mouth.

Prue pressed her lips hard against Rynstel’s and spit the potion into his mouth. Out of surprise he swallowed it and then spit.

“ What was that,” Rynstel asked.

“ My goodbye,” Prue replied and she waved goodbye to Rynstel.

Rynstel was confused until his stomach burst into flames and spread over his whole body. He let out a scream until he blew up.

Prue walked over to the cage door and kicked it open. She ran to the dark area was Phoebe was laying on the ground and Piper was standing, frightened.

“ Piper, what’s wrong,” Prue asked.

“ I lost all feeling in my side, my right arm and right hand,” Piper answered.

“ We will fix this, Piper. I am not going to let you die. Let’s go home. Maybe Leo got something from the Elders.”

Piper nodded. Prue took Piper’s right hand and Piper wished she could feel Prue holding it. Then, Prue and Piper each took one of Phoebe’s hands, so they were standing in a closed circle.

“ Together take us hand in hand. Take us to our home land,” Prue and Piper said and they vanished from the other dimension.

Prue, Piper, and Phoebe appeared in their kitchen. Prue and Piper looked around for Leo.

“ Leo,” Piper called out as she walked into the hallway, “ Leo!”

Prue walked into the hallway and over by Piper.

“ Where’s Leo,” Prue asked.

“ I don’t know,” Piper answered.

“ Come on,” Prue said heading back into the kitchen, “ Let’s see if we can get Phoebe up.”

Piper followed Prue into the kitchen and to the unconscious Phoebe. Piper got a papertowel and, using her left hand, soaked it in water and started putting the water on Phoebe’s face.

“ Sure, she gets a tan and we get burned,” Piper commented, looking at Phoebe’s very tan body.

Phoebe started to stir and Piper put the papertowel down.

“ Prue, I am starting to lose feeling in my left arm,” Piper said.

“ It’ll be okay, Piper,” Prue said kneeling by Piper and hugging her, “ We will fix this.”

“ I hope so, Prue.”

Phoebe opened her eyes.

“ Hi,” Phoebe whispered.

“ Hey, Pheebs,” Prue replied, “ Are you okay?”

“ I think so,” Phoebe answered and sat up, “ What happened?”

“ We came and rescued you,” Piper replied.

“ Thanks,” Phoebe said.

“ I’ll be right back,” Prue said, standing up.

“ Okay,” Piper replied.

Prue left the kitchen and stood in the hallway.

“ Leo,” Prue whispered, “ Leo.”

Leo orbed in next to Prue. He looked worried and Prue figured that’s why he didn’t come down before when Piper called.

“ Piper is most likely going to die,” Leo whispered, “ The Elders can’t find any way to help her. They are going to give up soon. God, Prue, I believe she is going to die.”

Prue walked back into the kitchen. Leo orbed back up to the Elders. Piper and Phoebe were still sitting on the floor and were talking. Phoebe smiled at Prue, who returned the smile as best as she could.

“ I am so glad we got rid of him,” Phoebe said.

“ Me, too,” Piper agreed.

“ Phoebe, can I see you a minute,” Prue asked.

“ Sure,” Phoebe said as she stood up.

Prue walked out of the kitchen, followed by Phoebe.

“ Um, Phoebe,” Prue started as she stopped in the hallway, “ Uh.........”

“ What is it, Prue,” Phoebe asked, concerned.

“ You know the potion that hit Piper,” Prue asked.

“ Yeah,” Phoebe an
