Prue Halliwell felt the air go out of her as her breath caught in her throat. She sunk down onto her littlest sisters bed, her hands shaking, her eyes wide. She couldn’t believe she could be so stupid! She rubbed her mouth. This couldn’t be right, there must have been a mistake. Maybe it was just a sick prank.

Prue stared down at the pictures in disbelief, realization sinking in. She closed her eyes and ran a hand through her hair. It was no mistake. It was Phoebe…..always getting herself into some kind of mess….always finding some kind of trouble. She could feel the anger bubbling beneath the surface.

“PHOEBE!!!!!”

Prue slammed the door open and waited for the fifteen year old to appear at the top of the landing.

“Jeeez Prue – I’m right here, there’s no need to yell……”

The youngest emerged from her the bathroom, completely oblivious to the fury in her sisters voice. Prue turned to face her and threw the photo’s towards her feet.

“What are these?”

Phoebe looked down at the pictures, her eyes wide as she snatched them up, covering them with her hands.

“There not what you think…….Prue just let me explain…”

“EXPLAIN? EXPLAIN!!!!!! What the hell is there to explain!”

Piper had heard the raised voices from the bottom of the stairs. Her sisters had been fighting more and more – it was like she was living in a war zone, each attack crueler than the last.

“What’s going on?” Piper stepped between her sisters their expressions much too familiar. Phoebe looked ready to cry, her eyes filled with unshed tears, her hands desperately clutching a pile of photographs – Prue on the other hand looked like she was going to explode. Her cheeks were red her eyes wild.

“Why don’t you ask your sister? Ask her what she’s been up to!” Prue spat the words towards the youngest, a look of disgust forming on her face.

“Phoebe?” Piper looked to her little sister her heart almost broke. She could see the youngest battling with her emotions. She seemed so….scared.

“Please….” Phoebe sounded distressed staring beseechingly at her big sister. Piper shook her head and held her hand out, surprised when she saw the pictures being passed over.

Piper stared at them in shock. This was not what she had been expecting. Not even close. The baby of the family sat naked and posed in an old apartment building grinning seductively, touching her self, legs spread out at all angles, heavy make-up smothering her face.

“Oh my god…….PHOEBE! I can’t believe you! Who took the damn photo’s in the first place?”

Piper sounded incredulous as Phoebe snatched them back.

“Josh Evans…It was just a joke….I just wanted to have a bit of fun….”

Prue raised her eye brows and took a step closer to her baby sister. She knew Josh Evan’s. He was eighteen – much older than Phoebe. She also knew that when he was involved, things were never just a bit of fun.

“You call THIS FUN!? Taking your clothes of and posing for photos is FUN? What are you? Some kind of Halliwell Whore? Well Phoebe, if you want fun I’ll show you fun!”

With one quick movement, Prue had pulled Phoebe over her knee and pushed her pants down to her ankles. She delivered five hard swats to her bottom leaving an angry red handprint on the back of her leg.

“Go to your room! I don’t want to see your face. I’ve seen enough of you for one day!”

Phoebe backed away from her sisters and fled down the hallway. She fell onto her bed face down into her pillow and sobbed. Prue would never understand! She hated her so much! It was true – all Phoebe had ever wanted to do was have some fun. She’d been so miserable. So many things had happened. She’d just wanted some comfort, someone to love her – and lately, that had not been either of her sisters. Now all she felt was humiliation.

“Can you believe that!” Prue slumped onto the couch, her head in her hands. She didn’t know where to start. “I knew she was a bit wild….but this…this is something else….she’s acting like some sort of slut! What have I done……”

Piper sat beside her sister and pulled her in for a hug. It was evident that Prue was blaming herself – as usual.

“Prue, she’s a kid. She’s trying things out…she’s been out of sorts since…well since grams…..I guess she’s been feeling a bit ignored with us so busy….we’ve had no time for her….no time to keep her in line….she’s probably just pushing the boundaries...seeing how far she can go.”

“It’s more than that Piper…she’s been making PORN for god’s sakes. How do we know there aren’t more copies out there? How do we know these pictures aren’t scattered all over the internet?”

Prue felt sick. The thought of her baby sister’s naked body being used as some kind of entertainment for elderly men turned her stomach.

“There’s nothing we can do….she’s going to have to live with the consequences………it was her decision to make….and she screwed up.”

Prue sighed. When had things gone so wrong?

“Talk to her…….maybe that’ll help?”

Prue nodded slightly but didn’t make an attempt to move. Instead, she sprawled out along the couch and flicked on the TV. She couldn’t deal with this now. She knew if she even tried to talk to Phoebe, she’d say something she would later regret.

Phoebe Halliwell rolled over. She had been lying there for ages, thinking about what to do. Eventually, she pushed herself up and crept silently down the stairs. She could hear the television blaring and see her sisters form curled up along the lounge. The fifteen year old made her way into the kitchen and found a note laying on the table.

‘Figured you’d come down sooner or later. I had to go out to meet a band a P3. Heat up some lasagna in the microwave for 30 minutes. Talk to Prue. She’s really upset Pheebs.
I love you.
Piper.’

Phoebe smiled. She knew, even with Piper being so angry at her, that she was always loved. Phoebe put the lasagna in the microwave and stepped back into the living room. She picked up a blanket and draped it over her sleeping sister, gently removing Prue’s shoes and socks.

Just as the youngest was heading back to the kitchen, she heard the stir from behind her, the covers ruffling against eachother.

“Ughhhhhhh….” Prue groaned out loud. “What time is it?”

Phoebe stopped dead in her tracks. She felt her heart beat faster. She turned to face her sister, a flash of fear crossing her face.

“Just after five…………………” Phoebe opened her mouth. She wanted to say something, but was not sure how to put it. They stood there together for what felt like hours, not knowing where to begin. Finally, Prue broke the silence and patted the seat beside her.

“Just tell me why?”

Phoebe stared at her sister for a long moment and shrugged. She slid onto the couch and looked at her feet.

“It’s just…………….it’s just what I said……….a bit of fun….Really Prue. I meant no harm……I never meant for you or Piper to find them. I……I thought I’d hidden them….”

Prue sighed, the initial anger was gone. She pulled Phoebe into her arms and rested her chin on the teenagers head.

“You’re growing up way to quickly……I don’t understand why you’re in such a rush to grow up……you’re 15 Pheebs. Way to young to be even thinking about boys…….I know since Grams died….I know things have been a bit difficult. I know there have been a lot of changes….Me and Pipe, well, we’re sorry. We’ve been neglecting you haven’t we?”

Phoebe shook her head and held tight to her big sisters hand.

“It’s not that……I just feel so sad lately….I don’t want to upset you or Pipe. I know you’ve got other things on your mind…….Josh is….well, he’s nice to me and he listens to me…….he likes me…………..” Phoebe paused when she noticed the skeptical look on her big sisters face. “I know. I’m being stupid.”

“You’re not! Believe me, you’re not. I know what it’s like to be 15 – moody and angsty and you just want someone to love you. On top of that you’ve lost the only mother you’ve ever known…..I understand.”

Phoebe smiled slightly.

“Not the only one…..I’ve still got you. I’ve always had you. I don’t say it enough – but it’s true.”

Prue felt the tears sting in the back of her eyes. Her littlest sister could be such a brat and in a matter of seconds could turn around and be so damn sweet. She felt the kiss land on her cheek.

“Just tell me one thing Phoeebs…….you’re not…..you know…..not sexually active are you?”

Phoebe laughed out loud and grinned mischievously. She raised her eyebrows and scooted off of the couch.

“Maybe I am, maybe I’m not!!!!”

At that she quickly darted off in the direction of her room.

BRAT! Prue smiled and lay back down onto the couch, folding her arms behind her head. She hadn’t felt so relieved in such a long time.
