Prue Halliwell sat next to her little sister on the couch. “Piper why is this your favorite movie?” Piper pulled the throw from the back of the couch. She forced Prue to move her arm so she could snuggle into her. She wrapped the blanket around both of them. “Because it’s so romantic” Piper stated simply with a slight sniffle. Prue rolled her eyes. Piper had just talked Prue into watching Hope Floats for the fifth time that month. Prue had wanted to say no but Piper had been home sick all week with a really bad cold and tonight was the first night that she actually acted like the normal Piper. When ever Piper got sick she got hit with it hard. But most of the time Piper didn’t get sick Phoebe was Prue’s sickie she was always coming down with something. When Prue realized that Piper was getting sick she had pretty much banned Phoebe and Piper from being in the same room. This was fine with Phoebe. She was getting ready for mid terms for her college classes. This left Prue to help with Piper. Leo had been staying with her in the days and Prue at night. Piper’s cold had gotten so bad that she couldn’t move and her fever was getting dangerously high. Just as Prue was about to bring Piper to the hospital her fever broke. Prue was relived and from then on Piper started coming back to her normal self. Very cranky and mouthy which Prue took as a good sign because that’s how Piper got when she got sick but Piper had been so sick that she was quiet very quiet. Prue looked down at her and ran her hand over Piper’s long hair. “I am glad you’re feeling better spunky”
Piper looked up at her and smiled “Me too, but thank you for taking care of me at night. You must be so tired” Prue shook her head “No I am fine” she lied. She was dead tired but her job was to take care of her sisters first. Piper bit her lip but didn’t say anything she knew better then to argue with Prue. So she just went back to watching her movie. But her mind kept drifting. She just wished Prue could relax and take care of herself. She knew Prue was over worked and would push herself to a breaking point. That’s how Prue worked and Piper hated it. She was so worried that one day it would be too much for her.
Prue noticed that Piper wasn’t paying any attention to the movie. “Piper are you ok babe” “Uh huh” Piper responded. Prue flipped the TV off. “Prue why did you do that I was watching that” Piper whined. Prue scoffed and “I am Julia Roberts” Piper sighed. Prue placed her hand on Piper’s forehead. Piper pulled her hand away. “I feel fine” She said crossing her arms over her chest. “I can hear that” Prue said in her best mommy voice the kind that sound like “Right I believe you’re not tired… NOT” Piper shifted so she wasn’t leaning on Prue anymore. “Prue I don’t want to fight with you but I do think you should go rest too” Prue rolled her eyes. “Piper don’t worry about me” Piper sighed but got up. “I am going to bed” Prue nodded but got up with her. She followed her up the stairs. Piper stopped her once she got to her room. “What are doing” Prue sighed “Piper humor me ok” Piper sighed and threw her hands up in the air and back down hitting them on her legs “Fine” she said letting Prue in. Prue sat behind Piper and brushed her hair. “Piper I know you are worried about me” Piper turned around and took the brush from Prue. “I am Prue you know me the worrier” Prue took the brush back and started brushing again. Piper loved having her hair brushed it always calmed her down.
After a few minutes later Piper had tears streaming down her face. She grabbed the brush from Prue. “I am tired” Prue nodded and wiper away the tears with her thumbs. “Get some sleep sweet girl” She then pushed her down and tucked her in before she left the room. Piper sighed “I wish she would just learn to relax or get a couple of weeks of rest her self. Piper finally drifted to sleep. What seemed like minutes later was actually hours later she was being woken up by Leo. “Piper wake up honey” Piper sat up. “Honey what’s wrong” Leo handed Piper a tissue. The way she sounded cued him on her nose being stuffed. She blew her nose and waited for him to explain why he woke her up. “The elders noticed the same thing you did about Prue being over worked and they kind heard something you wished and they made it come true only you are not going to like it” Leo said in one big rush. Piper’s eyes got wide. “What did they do” But before Leo could answer Prue ran into the room and jumped on Piper. “Piper will you play Barbies with me and then make pancakes for breakfast” Piper shot a glare at Leo. “Um Prue how old are you” Prue held up a total of six fingers “I am six Piper” Piper rolled her eyes. Phoebe came waddling in the room to rubbing sleep out of her eyes. “It’s happening again” Piper nodded. “SO I see” Prue just looked at them with innocents in her eyes.
An hour later Prue was in the living room at the coffee table eating pop tarts and a bowel of cereal while Piper Leo and Phoebe had a family meeting. “I can not believe this is happening again” Phoebe whined. Piper nodded “and I don’t give a damn what the elders say I did not wish for this” Leo shrugged “Well she will get rest” Piper groaned “Not helping honey” Leo sighed “I am sorry guys but they were really worried about her they saw her crash and burning if she didn’t get some much needed rest and not worry about anything” Phoebe gave a fake laugh “What about Piper and I huh? She’s got the club and I got mid terms now we have to deal with a six year old too? How are we not supposed to crash and burn” Phoebe rambled. Piper got up and placed her hands on Phoebe’s shoulders. Phoebe calmed down right away. There was something about Piper’s touch that could calm her down. “Leo did they tell you how long this was going to last” Piper asked calmly. Leo nodded “About three weeks” Phoebe groaned. Piper licked her lips. “Well we can do this” Piper said with more confidence then she felt. Phoebe raised her eyebrows “Why can’t we have be small when we are turned into a big kid” Piper shrugged “Because they like to torture us” Phoebe actually showed a smile.
Prue came into the kitchen a few seconds later carrying her bowel with her. She placed them in the sink. “Piper I can’t find anything to play with” Prue whined sitting down at the table. Piper smiled “sorry babes all the toys in the attic” Phoebe got up “I’ll go get them” Prue smiled “Thanks Phoebe” she called after her. Phoebe returned a few seconds later with a box of toys. Prue pulled them out and started looking at them. She gave a huge sigh but didn’t say anything. “Prue what’s the matter honey” Phoebe asked sweetly. “Phoebe these are all baby toys” Prue said almost in tears. Piper and Phoebe looked inside the box with Prue. Besides the easy bake oven they were all baby toys. Piper fished around and came out with a coloring book and crayons. “Here Prue color for awhile” Prue took the book and crayons. “I am going to color and watch TV” Phoebe nodded “Ok sweets” Prue left the room and Piper groaned. “Everything in here is meant for a four year old or younger” Phoebe nodded “Looks like she is going to need some new toys” Piper groaned “What about her job” Phoebe picked up the phone and dialed “Hi this Phoebe Halliwell Prue’s sister um we have a family emergency so we are going out of town for three weeks. Thanks for being so understanding” Phoebe hung up the phone with a smug look on her face. “See that’s how it’s done” Piper nodded “Yeah now we have to keep Prue out of sight” Phoebe curled up her nose “Well maybe we could go out of town” Phoebe said with a hopeful look. “I am about done with my midterms and we have a break coming up” Piper sighed “Well if we went some where we might not have to buy as many toys if we are some where we can distract her” Leo who had been eating a muffin quietly this whole time perked up. “Actually I think that is a great idea. I could hide you guys up in a mountain with a force field around it that will keep you demon safe” Piper bit her lip “What about my club” Leo took another bite of his muffing “Don’t worry with you gone I won’t have that much activity I will be able to keep an eye on the club after all I am the husband of the owner of club” Piper giggled “Ok Leo but next time don’t talk with your mouth full” Leo turned red “Sorry” Piper wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek “I love you” He kissed her back. “Right back at you babe” Phoebe giggled “Now that I’ve just watched the worlds corniest moment I am going to go to my last few classes” Piper handed Phoebe her bag that was sitting at the counter. “I want to leave as soon as you get back so I am going to pack while you’re gone. Do you mind if I pack for you?” Phoebe shook her head “No I don’t care” Phoebe kissed Piper goodbye and yelled at Prue to be good. Piper watched as she left. “Leo I think this sucks I hope you know” Leo nodded “I know so do I, I am going to be away from you for three whole weeks” Piper licked her lips “Well you can orb… Maybe at night you could…” Leo pulled her into a passionate kiss “EWW” a high pitched squeal came from behind them. “Piper why are you sucking on Leo’s tongue, It is not a sucker” Leo blushed “Um I um got I got to go” he stammered. Piper giggled “Chicken” Leo nodded and left. Piper sat down on a kitchen table chair. “So what are you up to Prue” Prue sat down on Piper’s lap. “Trying to figure out why you were sucking on Leo’s tongue” Piper started tickling her. “It’s a big person thing” Prue nodded satisfied by the answer. Piper ran her hand over Prue’s hair. “So will you help me pack babe? We are going on vacation” Prue’s eyes got wide and she clapped her hands together. “This is way cool” Piper started laughing.

As soon as Phoebe got home Piper and Prue were ready to leave. Phoebe giggled when she saw the tired look in Piper’s eyes. “She is worse then you were when you were turned into a big kid. The questions are endless. “Phoebe” Prue screamed “where have you been we been waiting and waiting and the jeep is packed and we been waiting and waiting and Piper made cookies and sand witches and we waited and waited” Prue said dramatically. Phoebe tussled her hair. “Ok let me go upstairs and change my clothes then I will be ready” Prue gave a dramatic sigh and went and flopped down on the couch. Piper shook her head she never realized what a chatter box Prue had been as a child. Phoebe came down the stairs about ten minutes later. “Ok I am ready to go Piper do you know where we are going?” Piper nodded “Yeah Leo found us this great big cabin its met for family’s with kids. It’s got games and toy and a hot tub and a heated pool inside. Plus there is so much snow we could can play in the snow “Cool this is going to be fun” Piper nodded “How ever the cabin only has two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with a set of bunk beds” Phoebe shrugged so what seems to be the problem. Piper laughed “I am going to have a share a bed with a kicker” Phoebe rolled her eyes. “Whatever you can have that bed all to your self Prue and I can share the bunk beds besides Leo will be popping into keep you warm” Piper playfully hit Phoebe. “Go get Prue and your self in the car” Phoebe giggled “Ok”
After a five hour drive they finally made it to the cabin. The drive was only supposed to be about three hours but Prue needed to go to the bathroom. Then she needed to eat then she needed to go to the bathroom and then Phoebe got car sick on the windy road up to the cabin. Piper was so tired by the time they got everything unloaded she hadn’t even noticed how beautiful the cabin was until Prue was bathed and put to bed. Piper sat next to a fire with hot coco. Phoebe came out of the room she was sharing with Prue. “She is sound asleep” Piper held up another cup of hot coco up to Phoebe. “Hey come sit next to me by this fire” Phoebe happily joined her big sister. “Phoebe I can’t wait to go out and play in the snow with Prue” Phoebe sighed and got all serious. She grabbed Piper’s hands and held them in hers. “Piper I know you want to play with her tomorrow in the snow but I can’t let you do that. I may not have been around a lot last week but I do know how sick you were and you still have some of it left in your system. I can’t handle this if you are sick too” Piper leant in and kissed Phoebe’s nose. “Ok I’ll stay in and play with her in that huge pool in the pool room” Phoebe groaned “It’s ok Phoebe it’s a heated pool and I’ll go right into the hot tub after” Phoebe sighed “It’s not that I am wondering if we can get Prue into a pool” Piper sighed “We can try right” Phoebe nodded “We can try” Piper traced Phoebe’s nose with her fingers “What’s really the matter babe” Phoebe smiled “You know me all to well” “Duh honey I’ve known you your whole life I think I can read you by now” Phoebe giggled “I wish I could say I’ve known you and Prue your whole lives like you can with me. But I don’t know what you guys were like as toddlers and babies I don’t know what Prue was like until she was like eight so I don’t know how to handle her right now. And it was really hard for me to take care of you now I am expected to take care of my care giver” Piper sighed “Aww baby I am sorry I never realized how hard this is on you. Don’t worry we sweetie we can take do this together” Phoebe sighed “That’s what Prue said about you too but she got all mad at me when I tried to help with you” “Oh Phoebe that was different Prue’s like our mom she looks at us both as her kids and you’re the baby and she will always see that in her eyes” Phoebe smiled “I guess you are right and I guess I should feel better about being her baby but how I am going to be her baby when she is a baby herself right now” “Phoebe you just said you wished you could have known us when we were little well you got to see a little me now you get to see Prue. Take it as an adventure and I am sure you will have fun” Phoebe smiled “Thanks Piper, you should go to bed though Prue had us up really early this morning and it’s time for us to turn in and I don’t want you sicker” Piper got up and took Phoebe’s now empty mug “You got it babe as soon as I wash these cups.” Phoebe kissed her sister “Night I love you and thanks for being a great older sister to me” Piper kissed her back “Well thank you for being my favorite little sister” “Hey I am your only little sister” Piper giggled “That’s why you are my favorite” Phoebe rolled her eyes and then started to laugh as she went to her bed.

Prue was up at the crack of dawn the next morning. She woke Phoebe up and pulled her to the window. “We play in snow” she asked. Phoebe laughed “Later when it gets a little warmer and the sun is shining. Prue sighed but agreed “We eat then” She asked rubbing her belly. “I very hungry” Phoebe laughed again “Honey why don’t we watch an hour of TV before we eat. Piper needs a little sleep and I don’t cook you would get sick if you ate my cooking” Prue nodded and went and turned on the TV. She was instantly sucked into the world of television and did not move for two hours. The morning of the first day went rather quickly and smoothly for the girls after breakfast Phoebe took Prue out and let her play with the snow for about an hour while Piper made the cabin feel a little more like home. Then Phoebe and Prue came in for hot coco and a nap. They then woke up and had lunch and watched a movie. Piper became restless and wanted to play in the pool so they got Prue into her bathing suit and they all went into the pool room. Piper instantly got in and held her arms open to Prue. “Come on sweetie come to Piper” Phoebe had set up a towel on the ground and was now sitting on it. Prue sat down next to her and shook her head. “Water bad” Piper sighed not it’s not “Come on sweetie come to me” Phoebe got up and got in she pulled Prue in with her. Prue started screaming. “NO WATER” Prue screamed for a minute before she realized she could stand up. Piper sighed she was going to show Prue that it wasn’t as bad. “Prue come here” Piper said. Prue shook her head. “No way” Phoebe was getting a little nervous she had never seen Prue cry that hard ever. “Piper maybe you should just let her be” Piper shook her head. “No Phoebe” She reached out and grabbed Prue. She pulled her into the deeper part of the water and placed her on her hip. “Look Prue I can hold you” Prue relaxed and noticed she was on Piper’s hip. She put her head on Piper’s shoulder. Piper dipped her free hand in the water and splashed Phoebe who was following closely behind them. Phoebe gasped. Prue’s jaw dropped but then she started laughing as she did the same thing. Phoebe started laughing too. She let Prue keep splashing her occasionally splashing Piper and Prue herself. Prue was having a great time and giving laughs that started at the gut. Piper and Phoebe were both so happy to see Prue laugh like this. Prue had refused to leave Piper’s hip but at least she was in the pool and that was all that counted. The girls played in the pool for over an hour. Finally Phoebe made Piper get out of the pool and into the hot tub while her and Prue showered and changed.
Leo arrived while Piper was getting into the hot tub. “Hi honey” he said scaring her. Piper jumped a foot but smiled “Leo come in the tub with me” Leo looked around but stripped down into his boxers. “Where Prue and Phoebe” Piper crawled onto Leo’s lap. “She and Prue are showering. Oh my gosh Leo I had Prue in the pool and she was laughing and it was great” Leo laughed “Sounds like you made some progress with her” Piper nodded “Yeah I hope I can get her into the pool every day while she is here” Leo moved Piper bathing suit strap down a little and began to nibble on her neck and shoulders. Piper let him for a few minutes. “Leo as great as that feels and as bad as I want you to continue you can’t I have to make dinner” Leo sighed but stopped and pouted a little. “Aww Leo baby don’t pout Prue has had an eventful day and a very short nap I think after dinner and a movie she will go to bed and Phoebe will do something and then you and I can come back in here that door locks” Leo looked towards the door then he scanned the room they would have the pool and the hot tub all to themselves. “You got it babe. I’ll go check on the club and make sure Carrie has everything under control then I’ll be back here in time for dinner” Piper kissed Leo “All right I’ll see you later” Leo was about to leave but stopped and leaned into her whispering into her ear. “Don’t shower your just going to get dirty again” Piper playfully swatted at him and giggled as he orbed away.
“NO!” Piper heard Prue scream. Piper decided it would be good to go see why Prue was screaming. When she got into her and Phoebe’s room she found Phoebe rubbing her head. “She will not put her clothes on” Phoebe said sounding very annoyed. Piper tried not to giggle but she couldn’t help it. “NOT FUNNY” Phoebe yelled at her. Piper calmed down. “Shh honey don’t yell at me please” Phoebe frowned “Sorry” she mumbled. “Ok here try this” “Prue honey do you want to pick out your own clothes” Prue stopped crying and looked up at Piper and nodded. “Yes” Piper opened the closet door and let Prue pick. She settled on a violet sweater and her light blue jeans. “But this is her favorite” Prue said holding Prue’s red sweater and black pants. “That’s big Prue’s favorite. But when Prue was little her favorite color was purple it changed to red when she was thirteen and Andy bought her that red sweatshirt that she has in the back of her closet at home” “I didn’t know that” Piper handed the clothes to Prue. “Phoebe baby you were nine years old all you cared about was your Barbie’s and a lap to crawl into when you had a bad dream. Phoebe nodded “I guess your right” Piper nodded “I know I am. Ok you stay in here and brush her hair while I start dinner. Now Prue you let Phoebe brush you hair or no dessert tonight” Prue pouted a little bit but agreed.
Piper had just finished dinner when Leo had orbed back in. “Hi baby how’s my baby” Leo smiled “I am great thanks for asking” Piper rolled her eyes. “My club Leo how is my club” “Carrie’s got it all under control” Piper nodded “Great thank you” Leo quickly set the table then went and got Phoebe and Prue who were playing a game of checkers. “You cheated Prue said coming to the table” “I did not” Phoebe said in a defensive voice. Piper placed her hand on Phoebe’s shoulder “She is six remember” Phoebe sighed but nodded “Your right” They all began to eat Piper’s wonderful dinner but half way through Prue pushed her plate away. She ate her chicken but she wouldn’t eat her green beans or corn. “Prue honey eat” Phoebe said. Prue shook her head “NO” Phoebe sighed again and Piper decided to let her handle this. “Come on Prue you need to eat” “I do not like this” Phoebe sighed and looked at Piper for help. Piper shook her head “You can do this honey I have faith in you” Phoebe sighed “Prue you are not leaving this table until you are done eating” Prue scrunched up her nose “No I don’t gotta” She then did something that no one expected her to do. She picked up her plate and threw it at Phoebe. The plate hit Phoebe’s lip causing it to split open. Piper gasped as she watched blood pour out of Phoebe’s lip. “PRUDENCE ANNE GO TO YOUR ROOM” Prue burst into tears and ran to her room. Piper quickly grabbed a dish towel and ran over to Phoebe. She placed it on her lip and kissed her forehead. “I am sorry sweetie I shouldn’t have pushed you to be stern with her” Phoebe sniffed at the tears that were coming from the pain. “No thanks Piper I going to go beat her butt now” Phoebe said with determination in her voice. “Phoebe I think that’s a great idea you punish her but let her be for a second and let me tend to your lip. Leo can’t heal it honey because it was not a demon related. Speaking of Leo. Honey could you get me some ice” Leo nodded and grabbed some ice. Piper removed the towel and cringed. “Leo it looks bad it looks like her tooth cut really deep into her lip” Leo leaned in and looked at it. Blood was still gushing out of it. “Wow that is pretty bad” Phoebe started to squirm. Piper put her hand on her shoulder. “Leo can you orb her to a hospital” Leo nodded “Yeah” Piper kissed Phoebe’s head “Honey you need to go take care of your lip and Leo you have to stay with her hospitals freak her out” Leo nodded “Ok and I knew that we will be back soon and I believe we have a date” Piper giggled “We do. Ok baby girl be good for Leo and the doctor” Phoebe nodded and soon they were orbed away. Piper cleaned up the blood that was now on the table and Prue’s dinner that was all over the floor. She finally decided it was time to go see Prue. Prue was sitting on her bed crying. “Prue can we talk” Piper said sitting down on a chair. Prue nodded and climbed on to her lap. “I sorry I no mean to hurt her I made her a sorry card. See” Prue pulled out paper from under her shirt. Piper saw lots of color on it and she made out sorry and love on it. Piper smiled “I am sure she will love that babe but do you know what you did was bad right” Prue nodded “I know I not mean to I got angry and it just happened” Piper nodded “Ok but you still have to be punished” Prue nodded “I know” Piper sighed “How about you go to bed now” Prue nodded and started stripping. She got out her pjs and crawled into bed. Piper kissed her head and left the room.
Two hours later Leo orbed in with Phoebe asleep in his arms. Piper guided Leo to her room. “I am going to take her pants and shirt off she can sleep in her underwear then I will be out in a second” Leo nodded and left. Piper quickly got Phoebe settled in and then went to find her husband. She found him in the hot tub naked. She giggled and shut and locked the door behind her. She stripped out of her own clothes and climbed into the hot tub and onto her husbands lap so she was straddling him. “So how’s Phoebe” He sighed “She bit right through her lip they used that liquid stitch stuff so she won’t have a big scar. She was pretty good though she cried a little claming she wanted you. But they gave her some pain killers and she was out. They also gave me a bottle of pain killers there in my pants pocket she is to take it three times a day with food for a week” Piper nodded and “Thanks for taking her” Leo smiled and began to kiss his wife he started rubbing her back and before they knew it they were becoming one in the hot water.

Phoebe woke up the next morning in a lot of pain and something heavy sitting on her stomach. “Aug Prue get off me please” Phoebe groaned. Prue shook her head. “No not until I give you a kiss and the card I made for you. I am sorry I throwed my plate at you” Prue leaned down and carefully gave Prue a wet kiss on her forehead. She then pulled a card out from under her shirt. Phoebe tried hard not laugh out of all the kisses Prue had ever given her in her life that was the sloppiest kiss. Phoebe took the card and looked it over. She could tell Prue had put a lot of thought into it. “aww thank you Prue I love it” Prue bit her lip “do you forgive me then” Phoebe nodded “I do forgive you” Prue got off Phoebe’s lap. “Ok then I go watch TV” she said with a smile on her face. Phoebe smiled as she left. But then she felt her mouth start to sting more. She got up and made her way to Piper’s room. She knew Leo had the pain killers and she needed them. She knocked quietly. “Come in sweetheart” She heard Piper say groggily. Phoebe opened the door and saw Piper in bed by herself. “Where’s Leo” Phoebe asked coming all the way in the room. Piper pulled back the covers and patted the spot next to her. “He orbed out really early this morning something about a new charge I think” Phoebe crawled in next to Piper. Piper pulled the blankets up around them. She grabbed Phoebe’s chin and looked at her lip. Oh babe your lip looks like it hurts so bad. Phoebe shook her head. She didn’t want Piper to worry about her. Piper narrowed her eyes. “Phoebe” she used her best scolding tone. Phoebe let the tears fall it hurt so much. “My lip hurts” Piper nodded “I know I can always tell when you are lying. But you have to eat breakfast before you can take them” “Piper I can’t” Phoebe whined. Piper giggled. “Well you have too honey or it will make you sick” Phoebe sighed. “I’ll help you if you need” Phoebe shook her head “No I can do it” Piper started to get out of bed. “I am going to go make breakfast.” “Do you have to” Piper nodded “Yes baby but you can stay in here in my warm bed” Phoebe nodded “Ok” Piper got up and put a robe on. “Is Prue up yet” Phoebe nodded “Yeah she is watching TV” Piper sighed “Did she say sorry to you” Phoebe giggled “Yep with a sloppy gross kiss and a paper card” Piper giggled “yeah she made that for you last night”
Piper went into the kitchen to find Prue standing at the counter stirring a bowel. “Prue what are you doing” Prue smiled at her. “I is making breakfast” Piper looked in the bowel to see eggs with the egg shells mixed in. “Oh Prue you are so sweet. How about I finish that and you go set the table” Prue nodded and handed the bowel to Piper. Piper waited until she was gone before she dumped the bowel down the garbage disposal. She quickly set forth into making more eggs. She giggled the whole time trying to picture them biting into egg shells.
Phoebe merged from Piper’s room just as Piper was dishing up the eggs. “Hi” she said quietly. Prue smiled at her and kissed her cheek again. “HI PHEOEBE” she shouted. Phoebe cringed but smiled. “Hi love” “Ok Prue time to eat” Piper said setting her plate down in front of her. “Phoebe I helped cook breakfast today” Prue said proudly. Phoebe tried to smile. “That’s great Prue” “Phoebe we play in the snow after breakfast” Phoebe sighed “Maybe Prue” Piper cleared her throat. “Prue how about we go swimming and let Phoebe rest and then after lunch you play in the snow” Prue nodded “That sounds like fun” Piper smiled She was so happy she was getting Prue into the water. The rest of breakfast went rather smoothly. After breakfast Piper got Phoebe to take her meds and she and Prue went into the pool. Prue refused to leave Piper’s hip but at least she was in the pool.
Phoebe watched Piper and Prue play in the pool from the hot tub. She smiled as she watched Prue splash Piper. But she missed her big sister. Her big sister would have never thrown a plate at her. She kind of wondered if the real Prue was in there deep down and wanted to throw that plate at her because she still had a lot of anger towards her. She sighed again letting that thought consume her until she was in tears. Piper glanced up when she heard Phoebe sigh. She watched her closely and noticed tears starting to fall. She knew there was more behind her tears then her lip hurting. So she got Prue out of the pool showered changed and down for a nap. She then went and got Phoebe who had moved to in front of the fire and was writing in a note pad. “Hey babe” Piper said putting her hand on Phoebe’s shoulders. “Hey come with me I set up the couch” Phoebe raised her eye brow. But followed Piper anyways but when she got to the couch she started smiling. Piper had hers and Pipers favorite cuddle quilt out and she had two cups of steaming hot coco and a plate full of cookies. Piper pulled Phoebe on to her lap and wrapped the blanket around them. She handed her a cookie and let her eat it. “Ok pumpkin why were you crying in the hot tub and don’t tell me it’s because your lip hurts because that is not true” Phoebe sighed. “Because I was thinking maybe some of our Prue was in there and she meant to throw that plate at me and hurt me” Piper kissed Phoebe. “Oh sweetie no Prue would never want to hurt you” “But what about all the crap I did to her” Piper sighed and started running her hands through Phoebe’s hair. “Don’t worry about that, she would never want to hurt you. You are her baby” Phoebe sniffed “You sure” Piper nodded “I am positive” Phoebe snuggled into Piper. “Ok I believe you then” Piper rolled her eyes and started tickling Phoebe. “I am glad you believe me you little rug rat” Phoebe was laughing so hard she had tears pouring out of eyes. “I still can’t wait until our Prue is back though” Piper nodded “I know I can’t either but hey she needs this. Look how much rest her body is getting right now” Phoebe nodded “Yeah and she doesn’t even argue when we put her to bed or down for a nap” Piper nodded “Yeah I know it’s because her body is over worked” “I kind of feel like that is our fault” Piper nodded “I know because we always demand so much from her. We take her for granted” Phoebe nodded “I am going to be more careful when she comes back” Piper laughed “me too but some how I think it will happen again. But she loves it too she just doesn’t know when to take her time for herself” Phoebe nodded “But you and I are like that too we work really hard and we don’t have a break down” Piper shook her head. “We do work really hard but Prue makes us rest honey” “How come we can’t get her to rest then” Piper shrugged “Because she’s Prue and she’s the boss” Phoebe nodded.

Phoebe worked on keeping her calm over the next week but Prue was pushing her very hard. Phoebe could not take it any more. “PRUE LEAVE ME ALONE” Phoebe shouted as she was trying to brush her hair. Prue kept trying to take the brush from her. Piper came in seconds later. “What is going on in here?”
Prue was now crying. “SHE MEAN” Prue said pointing at her with her finger. “I was just trying to help” Piper nodded “I know angel I am making cookies to go with lunch and I can use your help” Prue nodded and ran out of the room but not before sticking her tongue out at Phoebe. “Phoebe what is going on with you” Piper asked putting her hands on her hips. Phoebe rolled her eyes and went back to brushing her hair. “Piper Prue needs you” Piper sighed “Phoebe you have been snapping at her for the past week” Phoebe shrugged “You go bake cookies with Prue and I am going to go swimming” Piper nodded “Ok fine I am not going to argue with you” Piper went out to the kitchen as Phoebe followed her out knowing she had to pass through the kitchen to get into the pool room. Prue was there sitting on the counter kicking the sides of the counter. Prue saw Phoebe and glared at her. “Phoebe wears stinky underwear” She taunted at Phoebe. Phoebe tried really hard to ignore her. “Phoebe picks her nose and eats it” Prue said in a sing song voice. Phoebe took a deep breath. “Phoebe’s face is looks like a doggie’s butt” Phoebe turned around and glared at her. “SHUT UP PRUE” Phoebe yelled at her. Prue reached out and kicked Phoebe. “You shut up” Phoebe couldn’t control herself she reached out and slapped Prue. Prue instantly started crying and held the place on her leg where her sister hit her. “PHOEBE” Piper scolded running up to Prue. She checked her over and made sure she was ok. “Phoebe she is six” Phoebe rolled her eyes. “Right pick her side you always do” She said as she stormed off. She made her way into the pool and stripped quickly so she was just in her bathing suit. She jumped in and let the cool water hit her skin. She hoped it would calm her down. Being stuck in this cabin everyday straight with Prue was killing her. But Leo said that there was a big demon battle going on out side and they couldn’t risk being exposed but if they were in the cabin and the right outside the cabin they were safe. Piper’s cold was still there so she couldn’t take Prue outside. Phoebe sighed again the whole week had been full of fights and arguments. Prue was a child who questioned everything. She didn’t take a simple no didn’t fit with her. Phoebe swam as long as she could until her arms hurt. She finally got out and showered quickly.
She could smell the chicken lunch Piper had made so quickly got dressed and quietly joined them at the table. Prue glared at her the entire time. She would stick out her tongue out her every once in awhile. She even looked at Phoebe. “Phoebe” Prue called to her. Phoebe looked at Prue and was met by the sight of Prue’s chewed up food. “Eww Prue that is nasty you are being a pig” Piper glanced over at Prue who just smiled at her. “Prue leave Phoebe alone she is grumpy with you” Phoebe shoved her plate back. “I am not hungry anymore” Phoebe got up and stormed off to the family room. Piper looked at Prue. “Prue you do need to be a little nicer to her” Prue nodded and yawned as it was close to her nap time. Piper and Prue ate quietly and then Piper tucked Prue into her bed. She then and went and got Phoebe’s lunch and went to join Phoebe in the family room. Phoebe was watching General Hospital. “Piper I told you I didn’t want my lunch” Piper sighed “Phoebe I really want to know what has been your problem all week” Phoebe sighed “Well if I am that big of a problem why don’t you spank me or ground me or send me to my room” Piper rolled her eyes. “Phoebe honey this isn’t like you I need you to be honest with me” Phoebe sighed “Prue is being a pain in the ass all week and she is totally picking on me and you take her time every time. It’s not fair” Piper sighed “I know staying at this cabin and not being able to leave is getting to you but Prue’s is getting lots of rest and she should be back soon” Phoebe nodded “Yeah I wanna go home and I want to have my Prue back the one that doesn’t call me a booger eater” Piper smiled and wrapped Phoebe in a hug. “I don’t believe her does that help” Phoebe started laughing “I am glad you don’t think I eat my boogers” Piper was now laughing “Ok I see some of my Phoebe coming out” Phoebe kissed Piper’s cheek. Piper laughed “Yep she’s back” Phoebe rolled her eyes. “Will you play a game with me while Prue naps” Piper nodded and the girls set off to play a game.

Prue was watching TV and coloring pictures for her sisters. Phoebe was swimming laps while Piper sat on Leo’s lap nibbling on Leo’s neck. Prue stopped coloring and looked up at Piper and Leo. “Why do you suck on each other” Piper blushed. “Um honey it’s a big people thing you will understand when you are older” Prue sighed “Your dumb you know tat” Piper’s jaw dropped “Prue” Prue just looked at her. “What” “Prue you can’t talk to me like that” Prue rolled her eyes. “Looks like I can because I just did smart one” Leo was trying so hard not to laugh. “Leo it’s not funny” Piper said smacking him” Leo nodded “Yes it is” Piper rolled her eyes. “Prudence Anne do you want to go to the time out on the time out couch” Prue looked at her. “I don’t have to go” Prue said throwing a crayon at Piper. Leo groaned “What is up with you three throwing things” Piper laughed she had forgot Leo had been drug into this every time. “Aww sorry honey it’s just our tempers coming out” Her attention went back to Prue. “Prue you march your butt onto to that couch” Piper said pointing at the couch that was turned facing a wall. Prue hated the couch but Piper and Phoebe had found that Prue was always calmer after that. Prue stomped to the couch and threw her self down in a dramatic like fashion. Piper did her best not to giggle. Phoebe came into the kitchen a few seconds later Phoebe came out into the family room. Her hair was wet and you could smell her freshly washed hair. “Hiya water baby” Piper said with a smile. Phoebe sat down on the other side of Piper. “Hi old married couple. SO what did Prue do now” Phoebe asked. Piper rolled her eyes. “She’s mouthing off” “Piper was she like that when she really was six” Piper nodded “I was like four so I am having hard time remembering but I do know mom would tell her to watch what she says to people. It’s just her bossy side coming out. You know she has to be the one in charge” Phoebe nodded “I guess you are right” Leo chuckled “Prue is driving me insane at this age. As much as I am scared of her as normal her I am missing her” Phoebe laughed and looked over at where Prue was supposed to be. “Piper Prue is missing” Piper looked over at the time out couch and noticed it was empty. “Prue” She called and got no answer. “Prue” Phoebe called. Still no answer. Phoebe hopped of the couch “I’ll go check our room” Piper nodded. “Leo go check the kitchen and dinning room. While I check the pool room and the game room” They all split up and came back to the family room. Piper started panicking when she noticed her little sister and husband did not have Prue. “Ok where is she where did she go” Leo shrugged. “This is not good with a demon got her” Piper said starting to ramble. Leo shook his head “No you guys are under protection” Piper sighed and looked as if she was going to cry. “Hey maybe she went out side to play” Phoebe said a few seconds later. Piper ran to the front door and threw it open and sure enough Prue was out on her sled going down the hill. “PRUDECNE ANNE GET IN HERE NOW” Piper yelled. She had never been that mad at Prue ever. Her heart was still pounding in her chest. Prue looked up at her but came over to her. Piper couldn’t stop herself she reached out and grabbed Prue and hard as she could she smacked her bottom she repeated this action five times before Phoebe stopped her. Prue was sobbing. “Piper stop she gets the point” Piper burst into tears and ran to her room. Leo stood there not knowing what to do. “We tag team Leo” Phoebe stated “You handle Prue and I’ll handle Piper” Leo looked confused “Shouldn’t it be the other way” Phoebe shook her head “No trust me on this I need to tell Piper she didn’t hurt Prue and everything is ok” Leo looked scared “But Phoebe I don’t know how to handle kids” Phoebe giggled “Like we do? Just follow your gut” Leo nodded and grabbed Prue’s arm. “Ok butterfly lets go get you warmed up” Phoebe smiled as she watched Leo lead Prue out of the doorway and into the family room. Phoebe took a deep breath before going into her older sister’s room. Piper was on her bed crying. Phoebe took a flying leap and landed on the bed with a thud causing Piper to bounce “Hi Pipsqueek she said using Piper’s special nick name as a child. Piper groaned “Phoebe I have no idea how you have not broken beds by doing that. “Actually I have but there always a man on the bed with me” Piper groaned but started laughing. Phoebe smiled “I see that I see Piper’s Smiley” Piper giggled “Phoebe you are a goof ball” Phoebe nodded “I know. I also know you were upset about spanking Prue. Don’t worry about it Prue did much worse to me and I still love her and I came out normal” Piper raised her eye brow “Normal now that is pushing it” Phoebe swatted Piper. Piper took a deep breath “I guess you are right” Phoebe nodded “I know I am” Piper hugged her and kissed her. “Where’s Prue” “Oh I told Leo to take care of her” Piper paled “Leo doesn’t know anything about kids Phoebe” Piper scolded. Phoebe shrugged and followed Piper out of the room. Piper dashed to Prue’s room and found Leo reading a story and rocking Prue in a rocker. Prue was sound asleep. “Hi honey” He said when he saw Piper standing there. “I just wanted to make sure she was really asleep before I quit reading to her. And she told me she is sorry for doing that and she agreed no sweets for the rest of the week is a good punishment” Piper gushed as she saw Leo put Prue into her bed. She was now wearing her warm fluffy pjs “I sent her to get dressed in these while I got her a glass of warm milk. It helped her warm up” Piper nodded “Oh Leo I can’t wait to have kids with you. You are perfect in every way” Phoebe sighed and smiled “Well I think I am going to go play in the pool again” But Piper stopped her before she could go. “Phoebe I’d rather you watched a movie with us. You have already been in the pool five times today” Phoebe sighed but knew Piper was right. Leo smiled “I’ll orb into town and get some pizza for dinner” Phoebe’s smile got wider and she happily ran to the couch. Piper smiled at him again. “Perfect” she whispered.

Piper sighed as she was scrubbing crayon off the wall. “I don’t get it Phoebes it’s been three weeks and she has gotten so much sleep. In fact she is a sleep right now” Phoebe sighed “School starts back up next week for me” Piper sighed “I know angel baby I know” Phoebe picked up a sponge and started to scrub too. “I can not believe she colored on the walls.” Piper nodded “I know it’s not like she is stupid she knows that’s a no, no” Phoebe threw the sponge at the wall “I hate this I hate how these stupid elders think they can just do that too us” Piper sighed “Phoebe honey most of the time I would agree with you but this time I know this was for the best as much as I hate to say that. Prue needed this” Phoebe sighed “I know but couldn’t they have just forced a vacation on her” Piper narrowed her eyes at Phoebe. “Do you think she would have gone?” “Well no not really” Phoebe said as she picked the sponge back up. “But I still think this is nuts” Piper nodded “I know so do I”
Prue sat by the doorway listening to her sisters talk. She started to cry. She felt so alone right then. Phoebe heard something and made her way over to Prue. She knelt down so she was in front of her. “sweet heart what’s the matter” Prue looked up and through her tears gave a small smile. “You came to see me” Phoebe looked confused “Of course Prue you are crying and I love you. I would always come and make sure you are ok if you are crying” Prue sniffed and used the back of her hand to wipe her tears away. “You love me” she asked. “Oh yes Prue I love you so much that’s it not even funny” Prue looked at her closely. “Why” Phoebe was in shock. “Um well Prue that’s really hard to explain why you love someone. But let me try ok” Prue nodded “OK” Phoebe took a deep breath. “The reason I love you is because of your bright smile your pretty blue eyes. The way your hair smells after you take a shower the way you hug and kiss me and the way you tell me you love” Prue nodded “You want to know why I love you” Phoebe nodded “I would love to know why you love me” “Cause you are pretty and nice and you forgave me after I threw a plate at you” Phoebe felt a smile tugging at her lips. She knew there was more to it. But the kid in her put into words that she could understand” Phoebe leaned over and pulled Prue to her. She kissed her about a hundred times. “Ok baby why don’t you go back and finish your nap. Because I know Piper wants you to finish it” Prue rolled her eyes. “I love her too but I don’t love all the naps she is making me take” Phoebe giggled “She hated it when Piper made her take naps too and she was an adult. “I know baby but it’s something you have to do.” Prue sighed Ok why don’t you go lie down and I will bring you some juice” Prue nodded and got up and went to her bed. Phoebe went into the kitchen and pulled out a sports bottle of juice and brought it back to Prue but she was already asleep when she got there. This just made Phoebe giggle. She knew Prue was tired. “I thought you were tired butter bean” Phoebe tucked her in before leaving to find Piper. Piper had finished cleaning the wall and was now climbing in the hot tub. “I love this thing” Phoebe nodded and took of her sweats to reveal her bathing suit. Piper just rolled her eyes. “Phoebe do you live in that thing I swear I wash it everyday for you” Phoebe nodded that’s because you do. “You’re the one to say I am a water baby” Piper giggled. “I hope you are using lots of lotion then I don’t want your skin to dry out” Phoebe nodded “I am oh by the way you are going to need another bottle of your lotion” “PHOEBE that is my favorite stuff and it’s like eighteen dollars a bottle” Phoebe giggled “Maybe you think about getting a cheaper bottle” Piper rolled her eyes “Maybe you should not use my lotion” Phoebe gave Piper her best cheeky smile. Piper splashed her with some water causing Phoebe to giggle. Piper sighed “Well as long as you are happy I don’t care about you using my stuff” Phoebe nodded “I know” “Oh Phoebe” Phoebe just smiled but moved closer to Piper so she could rest her head on Piper. “You are the best” Piper nodded “I know”
Phoebe moped around the house. “Piper I start school in two days” Phoebe whined as Piper gave Prue her nightly bath. “it is otay Phoebes” Prue said smiling at Phoebe. Phoebe smiled back at her. Piper on the other hand sighed “Phoebe I know that can it ok I am not in the mood to deal with your whining right now” Phoebe sighed. “Man Piper get some sleep you are grumpy” Phoebe said stomping out of the room. “AND DON’T YOU GET IN THAT POOL” Piper yelled after her. She got a slamming of a door for a response. “Piper you were very mean to her” Prue said in a matter of fact voice. Piper helped her out of the tub. “You hush” Piper hissed at her. As she got her dressed Prue just shook her head. “Sometimes I tink you don’t got it all under control” Piper about lost it. “Look here Miss thang it has never been my job to take care of this family all by myself and frankly it’s not a job I would want.” Prue sighed and shrugged her shoulders. Piper sighed. “Prue I am sorry I am not mad at you lets get you into bed” Prue nodded “I know tis you is tired you need to go to sweep too” Piper giggled and started tickling Prue. “Ok you goober head lets go to sleep” Piper took Prue into her bed room and tucked her in. She told her a story about a child hood memory of their mother she had. “Momma sounded so pretty and wonderful” Prue said sounding sad. “I member momma a tiny bit but I miss her. But you look a lot like her Piper” Piper blushed. “Aww thank you” Prue leaned up and kissed Piper. “I love you” Piper kissed her back. “I love you too sweet babe”
Phoebe stormed into Piper’s room she wanted to swim but she couldn’t swim because Piper said no. But then she realized how dumb that was. She made her way into the pool room and jumped in. She swam all her anger out. She swam till her arms hurt. “She was swimming so hard she didn’t realize how close to the wall she was. She banged her arm on the side of the wall and screamed. It hurt so bad” Piper was there in seconds. “PHOEBE MARIE. I told you not to get in the pool” Piper said jumping in to grab her so she could get her to safety. Piper got her out of the pool. She took her wrist in her arms. She looked it over. “Ok you are going to be ok” She said kissing Phoebe’s wrist. Phoebe smiled “I am sorry I went in to the pool even though you said not too” Piper shrugged “Don’t worry about it kiddo lets just go get some sleep” Phoebe nodded “After you change and I shower. Piper I can’t believe you jumped in the pool fully clothed. Piper shrugged. “I would do anything for you and you know for you” Phoebe nodded “I see that”
Piper was just getting out of a hot shower. When she heard crying she quietly made her way to Phoebe’s and Prue’s room. She knew for a fact Phoebe was in her bed in the other room waiting for her. She found Prue sitting on her bed crying. “Babe what is wrong” “Momma I dreamed bout momma she told me I am a momma now I got to get better” Piper sighed she knew that was Prue’s adult side taking over. “Shh baby girl you are ok you are just fine” She eventually got her back to sleep”
Phoebe was asleep when Piper got into bed. She checked her wrist again and found it ok. She kissed her and crawled next to her hoping she wouldn’t kick her to hard during the night.
Piper awoke to someone stroking her hair. “Phoebe go back to sleep honey” “Piper Phoebe is in the pool and it is noon” A very adult sounding Prue said. Piper leaped up. “Oh Prue it’s you the big you” Prue laughed “Yes angel girl and you and Phoebe did a very good job with me. And I will let you in on a secret I feel better then I have had in a long time. I believe I got lots of sleep” Piper started laughing. “Piper you took care of our baby too I never meant anything I did to her. It just happened and I told her that and she told me you already told her” Piper hugged her sister tighter. “Prue promise you will get more rest” Prue nodded “I promise” Piper smiled. “Great now I am going to go kick the elders asses” Prue laughed as Piper screamed for Leo. It was great to be back.
