This is a sequal to Patti's around and long summer.

“Piper give it back that’s mine” Piper held the sweater tight to her chest. “No it’s mine yours is purple mine is blue” Piper screamed back at her older sister. Prue bit her lip. “No that one is mine” Prue screamed as loud as she could. Seconds later Patti came running into the room. “Girls what on earth is the problem here. I just got your sisters down for their nap” Prue pointed to Piper. “She stole my sweater” Piper shook her head “No I didn’t mommy this one is mine” Piper said bursting into tears. Prue burst into tears too. “Why do I feel like that I put the wrong girls down for a nap” Patti muttered under her breath. “Mom you always take her side” Prue shouted. Patti grabbed the sweater from Piper. “Ok how about neither one of you get it then” Piper just cried harder “But momma I am so cold” Patti took a long look at Piper she was really pale. “Aww Piper please tell me you are not getting sick. We are leaving for Hawaii tomorrow. Piper started sat down and buried her head in her hands “I am sorry momma” Patti sighed but sat down next to her. Prue rolled her eyes. “She gets away with everything” “Prue why can’t you two get along lately” Prue shrugged “Cause she is annoying” Piper crawled next to her mom. “So what your stupid” She yelled. “Girls stop now” Patti said in her best warning voice. Prue sighed “What ever you big baby” Prue said before she left the room. Piper just sniffed “Mommy I don’t wanna go to Hawaii feeling like this” Patti nodded “Do you want to stay with your daddy” Piper sighed but nodded. Patti kissed her. “Ok I’ll go call him. But I really would rather you come with us” Piper shook her head “No mom you need to vacation besides Paige and Phoebe will need you. And I do not want to stay in a hotel room” Patti nodded “If that’s what you want princess” Prue came back in the room seconds later with a smug look on her face. “Piper I didn’t know you couldn’t cook play dough in your easy bake oven” Piper’s eyes nearly popped out of her eyes. “PRUE” Piper whined. Patti sighed “I also think it would be good for you to have a break from each other” Piper nodded as did Prue.
Carol stood with Piper wrapped in a blanket on her hip. She was waving good bye to her soon to be step daughters. “Remember girls three weeks after Christmas your daddy and I are going to be married” Prue nodded “I know” Phoebe hopped down on one foot “And we wear those pretty dresses” Carol nodded “yep” Patti came up the steps seconds later. “Ok girls go get in the car” Phoebe demanded to kiss Phoebe goodbye but Prue was fine with a simple wave. The girls were not talking to each other. Patti sighed “I’ve never left her for such a long time before” Carol smiled “She will be ok and Victor will be home in an hour” Patti nodded and took Piper from Carol. “Remember honey we are just an orb away. Just because the rest of us are going on plane does not mean Sam can’t come and get you” Piper nodded and sniffled “I know momma” Patti kissed Piper five times before Piper pushed her away. “Mommy I am fine I wanna stay here anyways my new room is done too” Patti laughed “Ok just remember you are mommies princes” Piper rolled her eyes. “I know mommy” “Um Patti me being a nurse and all this is not really helping her get better” Patti sighed and handed Piper back. “Ok just remember what I said this is your kid now too a bandage and a sucker just doesn’t cut it” Carol giggled. “I am not going to tell you not to worry because you are going I know you are going to but I’ll take care of her I promise” Patti laughed and heard Paige screaming from the car. “Ok your right I have to go. Bye Piper I love you” “I love to mommy” Piper said holding back her tears. Patti and Piper waved until they could no longer see the car. “Ok Miss Piper I need to get you inside an maybe a warm bath before your daddy gets home” Piper put her head on Carol’s shoulder “I think that is a very good idea” Carol nodded “I thought you would like that. Your dad is bring home dinner” Piper nodded “Sounds good to me” Carol put her hand on Piper’s forehead. “Piper how do you feel” Piper sighed “Yucky, will you make me feel better” Carol nodded “I’ll do my best sweetheart”
When Victor came home her found his fiancé and his middle daughter asleep on the couch. Piper was on Carol’s chest and the movie Beauty and The Beast was playing. “Carol I am home honey and I have dinner” he said kissing her forehead. Carol sat up slowly “Hi baby how was work” she said trying not to yawn. “It was great and I brought home Chinese wake my butter cup and meet me in the kitchen” Carol nodded “Ok sweetie” Victor left to start set up the table. “Piper your daddy is home babe” She rubbing her back. Piper’s eyes fluttered open. “daddy home” Piper mumbled hardly awake. “Yep lets go see him” Carol got up and brought her into the kitchen. “Daddy” Victor took Piper from Carol’s arms. “Hi babe, I am glad you are here and I am glad I get to spend Christmas with two of my five favorite girls” Piper giggled and let Victor set her in her booster seat. Just as they settled into eat the phone rang. “I’ll get in” Victor said jumping up and grabbing the phone. “Hey Stan this is Victor. Mexico are you sure? Yeah I’ll be ready but I have to figure out a whole lot I have my six year old here with me. Yes I understand I said I would be there on time yes I will see you tomorrow morning” Victor slammed the phone down causing both Carol and Piper to jump. “What’s the matter dada” Piper asked concern filling her voice. “My boss is making me go to Mexico for four days. I won’t be home until to Christmas Eve” Carol sighed “Oh Victor” “I guess I could call Sam and have him come get her” “No don’t be silly she’s sick she needs to be away from the other children I’ll watch her it’s not a big deal I have plenty of vacation time” Victor sighed. “Are you sure sweetie” Carol nodded “I am positive and I am going to bring her to my Christmas party in the ER we can bake cookies and stuff and I can brag about my soon to be daughter” Victor turned to Piper. “Baby do you want to stay with Carol” Piper nodded “Yes daddy she can’t be alone you’ll have Stan and Becca” Carol laughed at Picturing Sam’s over weight grouch business partner” Piper shot her a quick glare. “Sorry Piper” Carol said. Piper rolled her eyes. “Mommy has Sam and my sister’s and who does Carol have? Well now she has me” Carol smiled and moved some of Piper’s long dark hair away from her face. “Did I ever tell you how sweet you are” Piper smiled “Yes a lot” Piper said giggling herself “Ok then it sounds like we have a plan” Piper nodded “Yep” Victor kissed her. “I’ll make it up to you though Princess I know you wanted to spend some time with me” Piper nodded “I did but I get spend time with Carol too”
After dinner Victor went and packed while Carol called Patti. At first Patti freaked out and thought it would be better for Piper to come be with her. But Piper said no. “Mommy I am going to get one on one attention and I will feel better sooner I wanna stay wif her” Piper had pretty much yelled at her mom. Patti gave in but made her promise that if she wanted her to call for Sam. After that phone call Piper’s head hurt more and her chest was killing her. So Victor bathed her and rocked her in the rocking chair in her room until she was asleep.
Carol was sitting in bed reading a book. “She asleep” she asked with a smile. “Yeah to bad I won’t see her when she wakes up. So did you talk to Mark or Carrie” Carol nodded “Yep and they said have fun and they couldn’t wait to meet her at the party. Then I talked to Dug” Victor raised his eye brow. “Dug as in your old lover Dug” Carol rolled her eyes. “That’s him anyways he wants me to bring her in and he will look over her for free to see if she’s ok because she gets so sick so easily” Victor chuckled “Ok that sounds really good to me” He then took Carol’s book away from her. “Hey I am going to be away for four whole days I need to remember you” Carol rolled her eyes. But kissed him soon they were lost in each other.
The next thing Carol knew was Piper was crawling into bed with her. Carol looked at the clock it was already eight o’clock in the morning. “I guess we slept through saying good bye to your daddy huh” Piper nodded “Carol can we sleep together for awhile longer” “Yes baby” she snuggled in next Piper. Carol let out a small sigh. This was the first day of her Christmas vacation and her first day as a care giver to her future step daughter. “God please help us get through this” she begged silently.
Carol and Piper laid in bed well past noon. This totally surprised Carol most kids hated sleeping in. But then she remembered Piper was sick. When Carol finally had the energy she pulled herself out bed she got Piper out of bed as well. “K princess here is the game plan for today I have to go to my work so my friend can look you over and to see what I have to bake for the Christmas party and if you are up to it I have little shopping to do. But we can do it tomorrow too” Piper nodded “Who do you have to shop for” She asked while buttering her toast Carol had just put in front of her. “Well I have to get something for my secret Santa gift I got this girl at work named Lucy she’s really sweet you would like her. Then your dad wants me to get Prue and Phoebe something else and then I have to get him something” Piper nodded “That’s a lot but I can help you with my dad and Phoebe and Lucy and Prue’s the easiest she deserves coal” Carol tried her hardest not to laugh. But she stopped sipping on her coffee and she set it down gently. “Piper honey lets have our first official talk” Piper looked confused but nodded. “Piper I have known you for about six months now and I know you and Prue are normally very close to each other and that you don’t fight a lot so what’s up with the two of you” Piper shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t know I really wish I did” Piper said sounding way older then the six. “But all of a sudden she got mean and started taking it out on me. I think she is still upset that our family has changes so much in two years. Two years ago Grams was alive and Daddy was still there at home with us and then all of a sudden daddy left mommy go pregnant with Paige and had her and then Grams died then mommy married Sam and now Daddy is marrying you. Not that she doesn’t like you because she does a lot but she still is confused you know what I mean” Carol had to stop and focus on Piper for a second she thought she was having a conversation with a thirty year old not a six year old. “Ok Piper finish your breakfast so we can go” Piper nodded but glanced at her new watch that had a doggie on the face. “Um Carol its noon this is lunch” Carol leaned over and started tickling Piper until she squealed.
Meanwhile in Hawaii Prue sat on the beach with her toes in the water. She was watching Sam dip Paige in the water and pull her out again causing her to giggle. Phoebe was standing next to Sam holding on to his leg with one hand and bending down and picking up sea shells. Her smile would become huge if she found a purple one. Those ones went down her bathing suit where she was keeping her favorites. Prue scrunched up her nose. The thought of sand and shells down her bathing sounded very itchy. Prue sighed though she wasn’t having any fun. Normally when she was on a beach Piper and her would be trying to build the biggest more perfect sand castle that was only to house the two most beautiful princess’s in the world. Whose names just happened to be Prue and Piper. Prue’s thoughts were interrupted when she felt someone touch her back. She almost jumped a foot but relaxed when she figured out it was her mom. “Mom Phoebe is putting seashells down her swim suit” Prue tattled. Patti’s own nose scrunched up but then she smiled. “Well as long as she is having fun. Besides that is what makes her so Phoebe” Prue giggled. That was a family joke. Every time Phoebe did something crazy or free spirited they would say that’s what makes Phoebe so Phoebe. “So I see Phoebe is having fun and Paige is giggling so hard I am afraid her stomach is going to start to hurt soon. But I don’t see you having fun” Prue sighed “I am having fun” she said not sounding sure herself. “You miss Piper don’t you” Prue nodded “Yes” she said quietly. Patti sighed “I miss her too but I am sure she is having fun with Carol and she probably wants you to be having fun too” “But momma I have been so mean to her lately that’s why she didn’t want to go because of me” Patti sighed now. “Prue honey Piper didn’t feel good. She loves you know matter what you do to her. She wanted to stay home because she didn’t feel well. But can I ask why you and Piper have been fighting so much” Prue shrugged “I don’t know mom it’s tat she always seems to bug me lately. Everyone thinks she is so CUTE and so Sweet and so perfect it just seems that I get ignored” “Prue believe me you are never ignored you make your self known where ever you go. And your pretty blue eyes stand out in any room.” Prue giggled. “I guess so but tonight can I call her and tell her I love her” Patti nodded “You know you can baby” Prue smiled “I guess that is better then nothing huh” Patti nodded “Yes it is now lets go play too. She said as she grabbed Prue and ran into the water.
Carol held Piper on her hip as she walked in the busy ER doors. It was a mess. “Hi Carol” a nurse yelled as she ran by Carol. Carol didn’t even know who it was because the flew by her so fast. Piper looked at her. “Is it always like that in here” Carol nodded “Most of the time” “Carol hi” Carol turned around and saw Doug Ross standing there. “Hi Doug this is Piper” Doug smiled at her. “Hiya Piper” “ I have time to look her over right now” Doug said glancing at his watch” Carol smiled “Thanks that would be great” Doug led Carol through the crowed halls until he got to one of his exam rooms. Carol set Piper on the bed and ran her hand over Piper’s head. “She’s a beauty Carol and you look good with a kid on your hip” Carol blushed as did Piper. Doug began to look Piper over. He sighed “Carol I need to take her blood I want to run some tests on her” Carol’s jaw almost hit the ground. “Doug is she ok” Doug sighed “I um honestly don’t know there are some things I see I don’t like and you said she is sick all the time. Carol nodded “She is since I have known her she has been in and out of her doctor’s office but he says she is healthy” Piper listened to the adults closely and burst into tears. Carol brought her hand to her head. “Oh my gosh Doug I forgot she is very smart” Doug cringed too. Carol instantly picked Piper up and rocked her in her arms. “Shh shh you are going to be ok” Piper sniffed “I don’t want him to touch me wif a needle” Carol rubbed her back. “He will be careful I promise” “NO” Piper said sternly. “I have an idea how about Carol does it you know and trust her don’t you” Doug said knowing this child would have to be held down if he did it” Piper looked at Carol and Carol smiled “It has to be done sweetie so you could have me or him do it” Piper sighed “Ok I want you to do it” Carol nodded “Ok sweetie” She said taking of f her coat. “And as we wait for the results you and I will go explore the hospital and get some ice cream in the cafeteria and then you can pick out a toy in the gift shop” Piper sniffed again “Ok” Carol put on some rubber gloves and rolled up her sleeve. She tied the band around Piper’s small arm and cleaned a spot on her arm. She then stuck the needle in as fast as she could she knew that was the less painful way of doing it” Piper screamed. But held still for her Carol could almost picture Patti standing there saying a sucker and a bandage doesn’t cure all anymore they are your kids too. When Carol was done she let Piper pick out her band aid and then picked her up and kissed her nose then her cheeks the her forehead. “Such a good girl” she whispered into her ears. Doug smiled as he watched the small child calm down. “Carol you are amazing. I am going to run this to the lab. Why don’t we meet in about two hours to go over the results” Carol nodded. “OK we will be around and I have my pager on” Doug nodded and left the room. Piper wrapped her arms around Carol’s neck. “Let’s go explore the place” Piper sniffed. “You got it girlie girl” Carol said trying to hold back her worry”
Piper and Carol sat quietly at a table nibbling on ice cream. “Carol what are you thinking about getting my daddy” Piper said between bites. Carol sighed “I have no idea” Piper smiled “Well dada likes sweaters and he needs a new watch. Prue and I got him a wallet and my mom bought Phoebe’s present to him it’s a green tie” Carol nodded “Those are great ideas sweet heart” “Thank you. Carol I did something bad” Carol looked confused “What honey” “When the doctor looked me over I didn’t tell him about something” “What” “I have these red spots between my legs. I noticed it when I was getting ready. I was scared to have him look at me there” Carol sighed she knew they should have stripped Piper and done a whole exam. “Ok Piper finish your ice cream then we will go some where private and I’ll look ok” Piper nodded and started eating her ice cream again.
Carol carried Piper to the rest room and took her the stall meant for people that had a wheel chair because it was bigger. She carefully took of Piper’s pants. She sat down on the toilet and placed Piper on her lap. She separated her thighs and noticed red patches. She touched one of them and watched as it disappeared and then re appeared. She bit her lip and put Piper’s pants back on her. “Ok let’s go meet Doug” Piper nodded but stayed quiet. Doug was just getting ready to find them. “Doug she has a weird rash on her thighs” Carol said in one big breath. Doug nodded “Ok lets take a look her blood test came back negative she has an infection of some sort but nothing with cancer” Carol sighed with relief “That’s good” Doug began to look her over again. Her fever was higher and her throat looked puffy. “Well this rash normally appears on the face first but I know what Piper has” Carol cringed “Is it what I think it” “Well if you are thinking Scarlet Fever you would be correct” Carol groaned. “Ok I am going to give her some medication penicillin to be exact and I want you two to both go home and rest. It is contagious for the first little while but I think by the time our Christmas party comes along she should be feeling better” Piper sighed “Am I ok” Carol nodded “Sure you are sweetie. But you and I get to go be lazy for three days we will watch movies and eat lots of junk food and take meds and have fun” Piper nodded “Can we make cookies” Carol looked at Doug. “I don’t see why not” “Sure Piper that sounds like it could be fun” Carol thanked Doug a whole lot and got the prescription from him. “Ok angel girl lets go get this and get stuff for hibernation period” Piper giggled “Ok that sounds like fun”
Patti sat on the bed with the phone in her hands. “SCARLET FEVER that stuff kills” Carol giggled “That’s before penicillin Patti the worst is the rash now when it peels” “Should I come and get her” “NO” Carol almost yelled “It contagious I don’t want you or the other girls getting it especially Paige she is just a baby” Patti sighed “But Piper can be hard to handle when she is sick” Carol giggled again “Well considering I drew her blood today I think I can handle a few mood swings. Plus she is being a real sweet heart” Patti sighed “Ok well tell her mommy says she loves her. Prue wants to talk to her now” Patti said handing the phone to Prue. “Hi Piper I heard you are still sick I am sorry I miss you a lot” Prue could hear Piper cough “I miss you Prue” Piper said and then burst into tears causing Prue to burst into tears. “Mommy she is crying” Prue said handing the phone to her mother. “Hi Piper baby this is mommy are you ok” Piper sniffed “Yep I just my sista” Patti smiled at Piper’s slured words. “Ok princess you go get some sleep I love you” “You too momma” Piper said before hanging up the phone.
Carol picked Piper up. “Shh don’t cry baby” “Carol I can’t help it it’s Christmas time and I am sick” Piper said burying her head into Carol’s chest. Carol rubbed her back. “Well tonight let’s write Santa a letter that might help you feel better” “Yeah I am going to ask him to make me feel better so I can see Prue sooner” Carol felt her heart break. She knew how much this little girl needed her big sister. “I’ve got you honey” She said soothingly as she started to rock Piper.
“Santa Clause is coming town” Piper sang off key as she hopped from room looking for Carol. It was Christmas Eve and Carol and Piper were finally off house rest. “Carol where are you” Piper finally yelled getting angry that she could not find her.
“I am in your dad’s study little one” Piper ran into the study. “We are going shopping today right” She asked hopping from one foot to the other. Carol nodded yes Princess we are. And then we are going to my work party” Piper nodded “Right and you got to give Lucy her present” Carol nodded “That is right” “I’ll get to see Prue soon too as soon as Christmas is over. I can’t wait to give her that hat we knitted for her. She will love it” Carol giggled. “I am sure she will” Carol had taught Piper to knit and with in a day Piper was better then her. Piper could bake better and knit better the only thing Carol did better was drive and she knew that was only because Piper could not reach the pedals.
Carol got Piper dressed and the two of them left. Piper skipped next to Carol “Daddy is going to be home tonight and he said because I was such a good girl for you he has a surprise for me” Piper babbled as they entered the mall. Carol laughed Piper had been talking non stop since the second she started feeling better. Carol would not change it for anything though. She knew Piper felt comfortable with her and it pleased her to know end. All she wanted was for those girls to feel as if they could trust her.
Piper began to look at things closely Carol found out she was also a great shopper. She found Phoebe a care bear set. Carol also decided to get Paige something considering some day Paige could be her daughter too. If God for bid something happened to Patti and Sam. Carol picked out some plastic keys but Piper looked at them with disgust. “Paige has them already besides she is a smart baby she would find those boring” Carol nodded and put the keys back. Piper looked around the toy rack and found it. A white fluffy stuffed puppy “Paige loves doggies and this looks like Sukie momma’s friends dog that Paige plays with” Carol nodded and put the animal into the cart. “Ok I have Prue’s present picked out already” Piper nodded “You’re not going to get her a toy” Carol shook her head. “No” Carol went over to the beauty section and picked out a my first make up kit. It had really light colors and some glitter and stuff. “This is what I am going to get her and I am going to teach her how to put it on right” Piper smiled “Cool” “But this is for older girls Piper that means you and Phoebe may not play with it” Piper nodded. Carol picked her up and hugged her. “When you get older I will buy you one too” Piper’s smile got wider “awesome”
Piper and Carol shopped for Victor for hours. Carol could tell Piper was draining and fast. “Ok lets get Lucy’s present and then we can go to the party and I bet the time we get home your daddy will be there” Piper started to babble again about what she want to tell her dad about Scarlet Fever.
Carol sighed “I don’t know what to get her” Piper stopped talking and looked around. “What color hair does she have” Carol thought about it for a second. “Strawberry blonde do you know what that is” Carol asked. Piper looked up at her and raised her eye brows. “I am six not stupid” “Ok missy someone is tired” Carol said picking up the child and placing her on her hip. Piper pointed to a rack of clothing. There was a baby soft pink sweater. Carol saw it and saw Lucy. “Oh my gosh you are such a smart cranky girl” she said getting a giggle out of Piper. She bought the sweater and paid to have it wrapped so she could get to the party on time.
They were the last to arrive at the party. Carol put the present under the tree and noticed right away there were five presents for Piper. She looked up as Mark placed his hand on her shoulder. “Doug told everyone how sweet Piper was and that she just spent the last few days with Scarlet Fever and everyone knew you were watching her so we wanted to do something special for her.” Carol was about to cry. “Oh you guys are so sweet” She said hugging him. “You guy have done it for Rachel so it’s Piper’s turn” He said referring to his daughter. Carol smiled and pulled out a small box from her purse. “I got Rachel a present” Mark smiled and put in his pocket “I bet it’s earrings” “I bet you would be right” Mark chuckled and got to his knees and looked at Piper. “Hi I am mark I am Carol’s friend.” Piper buried her self into Carol. “She’s my shy one you have to meet her sister Phoebe soon. Besides she is tired I have drug her shopping all day” Mark laughed “I have been shopping with Carol Piper I am very sorry” Piper looked at him and smiled “Why she is nice” he laughed “Yeah she is” “Oh there are some good cookies over there I suggest the two of you go get some.” Carol thanked him and placed her on hip as they gathered some cookies. Soon the presents started. Carol looked around and noticed Lucy was not there. “She got called in to a trauma” Carry said sitting down next to Carol. Carol shook her head and laughed “How did you know I was looking for her” Carrie laughed “Because I am magic. Besides Lucy told me knew you had her and she had you she thought it was so funny how it worked like that and she wanted to see you before the end of the party.” Carrie’s attention went to Piper who was opening her third present. “Oh and what did you get cutie pie” Piper looked up and smiled. “This hair set” Piper said showing her a basket of hair ties and bands. “I love hair things” Carrie looked at Piper’s hair “Well you do have a lot of it” Piper nodded “Yeah it’s longer then my mommies” Piper said happily. Carol’s jaw was hanging by this time. “Oh my gosh she likes you” Carrie pretended to be hurt. “What and I am that horrible of a person” Carol blushed. Carrie did have a rep for being a hard ass but that is not what she meant. “No no Carrie it’s just that she is really shy” Carrie winked. “I know” Piper was handed yet another present. She moved from Carol’s lap and went in front of Carrie. “Will you help me open this one” she asked sweetly. She had taken the wrapping off of it now she had a box she could not open. Carrie took the box on to her lap and pulled out a pen. She darted the tape with it and broke the seal. Piper lifted the box and squealed. “Look Carol it’s a fairy kitty” Piper hugged the animal to her chest. It was a cat dressed as a cat. “Carol I wanted one of these so bad” Carol laughed. “Well I am glad you are happy sweet heart” Carrie smiled as Piper crawled back on to Carol’s lap. She clutched the cat close to her chest and put her head down on Carol’s shoulder. “She is a doll Carol you got lucky” Carol blushed. “All of my girls are wait till you meet her sister’s I swear they are the prettiest girls in the world” Carrie laughed “You already sound like a mom that makes me happy. I am glad she likes that cat I saw Yesterday and I thought it was so cute I had to buy it for someone and I remembered Doug and Mark talking about her” Carol smiled. “Oh you are so sweet Carrie thank you she loves it” Carrie and Carol talked for awhile longer while Piper slept on Carol’s shoulder.
Lucy came at the end of the party. “Carol I am so glad I got to see you” she said in a chipper voice. “I wanted to see your new little girl” Carol shifted. “This is my middle baby but she’s asleep” Lucy laughed “I see that. I hope you don’t mind but I bought her a present too the basket of hair stuff was from me” Carol laughed she loved them. Somebody handed Lucy her present. She gasped when she opened it. “Oh Carol I saw this and I wanted it” Carol smiled. “I am glad you like it Piper picked it out” “I waited until you got here to open mine. But my hands are full can you open it for me” Carol asked. Lucy nodded and opened the package she had wrapped that morning. In it was a book on being a step mother and scrap book making kit. Lucy had decorated the cover on it. She titled it me and my babies. “I thought you could scrap book your life with your daughters” Carol lost it. She started to cry. “Everyone is so sweet and supportive” Lucy rubbed her back. “Because we love you” Carol sniffed can you help me carry my things to the car. Lucy nodded and helped Carol gather everything up while Carol kept Piper on her chest.
“Well Carol I can’t wait to meet her and Prue and Phoebe when they are all awake and here” Lucy said putting the stuff in the trunk of the car. “You will at the wedding” Carol said she then thanked Lucy and drove off.
Victor met Patti Sam Prue Phoebe and Paige at the airport. “I am glad we are spending Christmas together all of us” Prue said as her dad picked her up and placed her on his hip. Victor chuckled. “Your sister is going to freak when she sees all of us” Patti laughed “I guess it was stupid of us wanting to spend Christmas away” Victor sighed “I am glad you and Sam agreed to spend it with me and Carol at our house. Piper wrote in a letter to Santa that she wanted all of us together on Christmas. Her whole family” Sam shifted Paige as he grabbed some of their luggage. “I think we should make it a tradition to spend major holidays together the girls need it” Prue smiled at Sam. “Really you mean it” He nodded “OF course I do” Prue clapped her hands together” come on then let’s got a move on it. Piper and Carol need us.”
Carol walked up the steps with Piper in her arms. “So Lucy liked her sweater” Piper asked tiredly. Carol nodded and gasped when she saw everyone in her living room. “Merry Christmas” Everyone yelled. Piper jumped from Carol’s arms and ran to her mom. “Mommy you are here this is what I wanted for Christmas” Patti picked her up and showered her with kisses.
Carol dove into Victors arms. “What is this” She asked smiling. “We are spending Christmas together. Patti Sam and the girls are all spending the night here so we can be together” Carol smiled “This is awesome this is what Christmas is supposed to be like”
Patti set Piper down and smiled as she watched her tackle Prue with kisses. “Oh I am so sorry we fought I missed you so much” Prue and her talked happily while Phoebe showed Paige the tree. Sam was setting presents under it. Carol and Victor were kissing everyone was happy. It made her heart melt. She was blessed to have such a wonderful family even if they lived into houses. She still loved Victor as a best friend and Carol was a sweet heart.
Later that night when everyone was in bed Carol heard movement from down stairs she went to go see. She found Piper sitting on the couch. “Hi Princess” Carol said sitting next to her. Piper crawled on her lap. “Carol will you help me write Santa a thank you letter” Carol kissed the little girl. “Oh yeah honey I will” Piper leaned up and kissed her. “I got the two best mommies and the two best daddies and the three best sisters’ in the world” Piper gushed happily. Carol smiled and wiped away the happy tears.
“Well I think you are the best too” Carol sighed happily. She finally had a wonderful life.
