Valintines Day
By Prujo
Prue Halliwell sat silently on her window seat; she stared out the window where the stars lit up the night sky.
She sighed. It was yet again another dateless Valentines Day for Prue Halliwell. Piper was out with Leo. And Phoebe was with Cole. And she was home alone. Alone. That's all she could think of, was she was alone. No one there but herself.
Prue tried to remember the last guy she really liked. She did like Bane...But she didn't know if what they had was just a one-day thing. She knew she thought about him a lot. Did he think about her? Prue shrugged, she didn't know.
She tried to stop herself but failed. Her mind slowly started to drift to Andy. She missed him so much. Never in her life had she felt love like she loved Andy. Prue closed her eyes she could feel tears coming. She felt it was her fault. If Andy hadn't come to her he would still be there today.
Prue pretended that she was over him and she had moved on. But she didn't. Her heart still ached over the loss of him. She got up slowly and bent down and reached for something under her bed.
Prue pulled out a rather large box and set it on her bed. She smiled slightly when she opened it. Memories of Andy came flooding back into her mind. She pulled out a teddy bear that had a big red heart on the stomach. Andy gave it to her when they first went out. It was a set of 2, Andy had one and she had the other. It was one of those kissing bears. She kissed its nose lightly and sat it down next to her.
Next she pulled out a neatly bond stack of letters. Prue had to smile in middle school and in high school they always wrote each other notes. She looked in the box and pulled out every Valentine he had ever given her. Prue smiled, every year he would always buy her a card and the hearts with the little words on them.
"This is so stupid..." Prue said out loud. "Why am I even looking through this stuff?" She glared at the cards she was holding and throw them back in the box. One fell on the floor. Prue groaned lightly and picked it up. Prue looked at the date on the card. 2-14-88. The year he moved to Portland she realized. She opened the card. She didn't really want
to read it, but for some reason she felt she had to.
Prue,
Even though I'm moving to Portland at the end of the school year I want you to know I'll always love you. And I know someday we'll be together again. It's fate Prue. I know it is. We'll be together again...I promise.
Love,
Andy
Prue swallowed. She could feel the tears coming, "You lied Andy. We're not together."
"Who says?" A male's voice came from behind her.
A chill ran through Prue's body as she recognized the voice, she spun around, "Andy?" She whispered.
He smiled at her and walked up to her. "Yes Prue?"
Prue's hands were shaking, "Are you real?" She asked shakily.
Andy nodded, and took her hand in his. "I'm real Prue."
"Bu..But how? You're dead?" Prue asked as tears came down freely.
Andy smiled and leaned close to her face, "Like I said before Prue...It's fate." He said just before they kissed passionately
The End
