Prologue
“It's not fair, Phoebe, but you have to pick a side, good or evil. That's how it works. Even though it means giving up someone you love, you have to choose.” Leo said.
There was a long pause.
“I’m really sorry you feel that way.” Phoebe replied and then flamed out to be with her husband. The source of all evil.
Piper awoke from a dream, drenched in sweat. She had been having these nightmares since Phoebe had chosen her husband over her own flesh and blood. Since Phoebe had joined the forces of darkness. Leo had been there a few times when Piper had awoken and reassured her that Phoebe was back. Back to fight against evil with them, where she was meant to be. But Piper still had a nagging voice in the back of her head not to trust Phoebe as quick this time. Yes she was her sister, but why had Phoebe chosen Cole over her and Paige not once but twice. Piper couldn’t get over this fact. And this fact was making her upset and mad at Phoebe. Piper didn’t know how to change her feelings. Her sister had hurt her, and lost the trust she once had for her, and Piper didn’t know if that could ever be restored.
Part 1.
Piper walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She knew Phoebe wouldn’t be there as Phoebe had rarely left her room since Cole had been vanquished nearly a week ago. Piper and Paige had both tried to get her to come out but she wouldn’t. Paige had given up, she didn’t know what else to do. She had tried everything, even using her own experience of loosing her parents to help Phoebe but with no success. Paige had talked to Piper the previous night and asked, no demanded that she go and talk to her. Paige could tell something was up with Piper. And it was starting to bug her.
Piper poured herself a cup of coffee and turned back around to drink it, surprised to see Phoebe stood there.
Piper gasped. “Jeez Pheebs, you sure know how to give someone a heart attack.”
Phoebe just smirked. Piper winced, she didn’t like Phoebe smirking it reminded her to much of the time she was evil.
“How you feeling today?” Piper asked as the room had gone quiet.
Phoebe shrugged her shoulders. “The same. It still hurts.”
Piper nodded her head in sympathy, she knew nothing she could say would change how she felt. “I’m going to the club. I won’t be back until late.” Piper saw the look in Phoebe’s eyes. The look of abandonment. “Paige is staying with you today.”
Phoebe sighed. “Again?”
Piper looked shocked. “What’s up with Paige staying with you?” Phoebe shook her head. “Come on Phoebe, there must be something wrong.”
Phoebe looked down and quietly whispered. “You never stay with me. It’s been a week and you only stayed with me the first day. Why Piper?”
Piper looked at Phoebe, who still had her head down. “Because I’ve been having to look after the club, both assistant managers are out sick and there is no one else I trust to run it” Piper lied, only one of the assistant managers were sick.
“What about Leo?”
“Phoebe, I’ve told you I would stay with you if I could. And if Leo could he would be looking after the club right now for me but he isn’t, as he has assignments all week to attend to. I’m sorry Phoebe.” Piper looked at her watch. “I have to go. I’m meeting up with a band in half an hour.”
Phoebe nodded her head, and turned away from Piper as Piper walked out of the kitchen and out of the manor.
Paige came into the kitchen soon after Piper had left, and saw Phoebe sat down at the table staring into space.
“Hellloooo?” Paige said waving her hand in front of Phoebe’s face. “Any one home?”
Phoebe grabbed her sisters hand. “I’m here Paige. No need to do that.” She replied a bit harsher than intended. Paige stepped back. “I’m sorry Paige. I didn’t mean to snap.”
Paige just shrugged it off. “No Worries. It happens. So where is Piper this beautiful morning?” she asked cheerfully.
“Club.” Phoebe said.
Paige looked confused. “Again?”
“Yeah, she said something about a band coming, and that she needed to set things up for tonight.”
Paige just nodded her head. She knew there was no band playing tonight as Piper had told them she has no bands booked for the next week. But Paige didn’t want to tell Phoebe this as she could feel something was going on between them’I will find out.’ Paige said to herself.
Phoebe stood up from the table and walked past Paige. Paige grabbed her hand. “Hey Phoebe, I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping or catch a movie or something? My treat?”
Phoebe shook her head. “No thanks Paige. I wouldn’t be good company at the moment.”
“Well at least we can do is watch a movie down here together. What do you say?”
Phoebe smiled at Paige. She liked how Paige had turned out, how she had developed in less than a year. How she had settled in to life as a sister, as a witch. “Sure Paige. What you got in your mind?”
“Well my dear sister, that is a surprise. Why don’t you go get dressed in something comfy and I will go get the popcorn and a movie from blockbuster. How does that sound?”
“Like a plan.”
Paige made her way down the steps of P3. She had been to blockbuster and rented Blue Crush. She wanted to cheer Phoebe up and she knew that that film was a really girlie chick film.
“Piper?” Paige called out. No answer. “Piper?” Paige wandered around the club going straight to Piper’s office. She knocked on the door and pushed it open. “Piper?”
Piper sat at her desk, looking over information for the club. She looked up as the door opened and Paige popped her head around calling her name as she did.
“There you are. Why didn’t you answer when I called you?” Paige asked slightly irritated.
“I didn’t hear you sorry.”
Paige walked further into the room and sat down on a spare chair. “What’s up Piper?”
Piper looked at her. “Nothing is wrong why you ask?”
“Why are you avoiding Phoebe?” Paige asked straight out, trying her luck.
“I don’t know what you mean.” Piper turned away and went back to looking at the books for the club.
“Bull Piper and you know it.” Paige was annoyed.
“Paige, I seriously do not know what you are talking about. I am not avoiding Phoebe.”
“Then why did you tell her that you had to check out a band that was coming to play at the club?”
“Because.”
“Because what? Because you are avoiding her?”
“Paige. What right do you have to come here and tell me what I am doing with my life. You have no right.”
Paige looked hurt. “I’m sorry Paige. I didn’t mean that.”
“Whatever Piper. I just came to ask you if you wanted to come home. As we are having a girls night, well day in. watching movies and eating popcorn. You know to try and cheer Pheebs up.” Piper smiled. “So what do you say? You going to come home?”
Pipers smile disappeared. “Nah, I think I’ll give it a miss.”
Paige’s smile disappeared as well. “Oh okay. I just thought you might like to. But never mind. We’ll see you later. Have a nice day Piper.” Paige turned around and walked away.
Piper rested her head on her arms that were on the table. She couldn’t believe she had said what she had to Paige. She was only trying to help and she hurt her. Paige was just concerned about how Piper was dealing with things with Phoebe. Phoebe she thought, why can’t I stay in the same room as her for more than 10minutes. She knew the answer, she knew damn well why she couldn’t. and she couldn’t understand what she was doing. Phoebe needed her, but Piper was choosing to listen to herself, and herself was saying that Phoebe had betrayed them, had caused a rift between them that was too big to bridge over at the particular moment in time. Piper knew that all it would take would be an apology from Phoebe. An apology that Piper, and Paige deserved.
Part 2
Paige walked through the front door of the manor. “Phoebe, I’m home!” Paige walked into the lounge and saw Phoebe curled up staring at a picture. “Phoebe?”
Phoebe looked up, tears in eyes. “Oh hi Paige.” Phoebe wiped the tears away.
Paige looked at her sadly. “You don’t need to wipe the tears away Phoebe. Its hard loosing someone you love. Especially your soul mate.”
Phoebe shook her head. “I wasn’t, well I was but I was looking at this.” Phoebe turned the picture around in her hand. Three faces stared back at Paige, those of Piper, Phoebe and Prue.
“Oh.” Paige suddenly felt uncomfortable, something Phoebe was picking up on.
“I was just thinking about Piper.” Phoebe spoke.
‘Piper.’ Paige thought. She knew Phoebe must know that Piper was avoiding her.
“Paige, why doesn’t Piper stay in the same room as me anymore? Why does she avoid me? What have I done?” Phoebe asked sadly looking expectantly at Paige like she held the answer.
Paige just shrugged. She had an idea but it was between Piper and Phoebe. “I don’t know Pheebs. But I think you two need to talk.”
“So you think something is wrong?” Phoebe sighed.
“I think you know deep in your heart what is wrong.” Phoebe looked away. “You need to sort it out soon or else it will push you both further away from each other than you are now.” Paige walked away.
Phoebe sat there, taking in everything Paige had said. She knew deep down why Piper was mad at her but she didn’t know why she would hold a grudge, it wasn’t like Phoebe hadn’t been evil before. Phoebe stood up and walked into the kitchen.
“Paige?”
Paige looked up from the instructions on the back of the popcorn tub. “Yeah?”
“Is Piper mad at me because I turned evil again?”
Paige sighed. She didn’t want to get into this conversation. It was between Piper and Phoebe. “I believe a little bit is due to that Phoebe.”
“A little bit?” Phoebe looked confused.
“Yeah a little bit. Phoebe you turned evil, yeah Piper would be upset about that but it wouldn’t cause her to avoid you. You have to think back, back to the choices you made and that.”
Phoebe looked at Paige suspiciously. “You know more than you are letting on here Paige.”
Paige put the popcorn tub down. “Look what happened hurt me to, but Piper. I don’t know. You seriously hurt her Phoebe. And I think Piper is still hurt by what you did, what you said. Your actions phoebe, speak louder than words. And Piper can’t just forget it.”
Phoebe looked sad. “Oh, you know I would never hurt either of you. Don’t you.”
“Phoebe, look it isn’t me you should be talking to about this.” Paige ignored her question.
“But Paige you do know that I won’t hurt you. I mean I didn’t did i?” Phoebe was getting frantic.
Paige approached Phoebe and grabbed her hands and looked her in the eye. “You need to calm down.”
“But I need to know.”
Paige sighed yet again. “Look what you said, what you did. Yes it hurt me. But like I said, you hurt Piper a hell of a lot more than you did me. And you two need to work that out.” Phoebe looked apologetic to Paige. Paige ignored it, she didn’t need the look she needed the words. “Shall we watch the movie I got and eat this popcorn?”
Phoebe looked at Paige. She knew Paige was telling her to drop it, that she should listen to what she said and talk to Piper. “Yeah. What film you get?”
Paige smiled thankful that she had dropped it. “I got Blue crush. Thought we could do with a girlie film.”
“That’s great. But where’s the popcorn Paige?”
Paige looked down. “Here. I just need to pop it in the microwave.”
“Okay I’ll go get the movie ready.” Phoebe walked out the kitchen but stopped. “Is Piper coming?”
Paige stopped. “She said she would try and make it but she had a lot of stuff to do at the club.” She carried on with what she was doing.
“Oh okay. At least she gave it a thought.” Phoebe was disappointed.
Piper Halliwell had done the books in the club and a smile spread across her lips. They had made a profit in the last 3months. A very good profit and she knew it was thanks to her new bar staff and the bands that had played there.
“I really should treat my sisters to something.” Piper whispered to herself as she looked at two frames on her desk. One of herself and Phoebe with Prue and another with Paige. Her smiled died as she laid eyes upon Phoebe jumping on top of Paige. Piper remembered back to when that picture had been taken. It had been taken 5 days prior to Phoebe choosing Cole over her sisters. Piper shook her head. Wondering if they would ever get the bond back that they had had there.
Part 3
Paige and Phoebe were smiling at the film they were watching.
“That was good.” Phoebe smiled as the end credits rolled up the screen.
“Yeah it was. I didn’t think it would be quite so good.” Paige agreed.
Phoebe nodded still smiling.
‘Man its great to see her smiling like that again.’ Paige thought to herself.
But Phoebe’s smile changed suddenly. Paige wondered why. Then she saw that she was looking at something behind her. She turned around to see Piper stood there just staring.
“Hey Piper. You missed a good film.” Paige tried to make small talk.
Piper forced a smile. ‘Put on my happy face.’ She thought. “Sorry about that, I had to do the books and well you know how exciting that can be.” Piper rolled her eyes. She looked at Paige. “What film did I miss?”
“Blue Crush. The girl surfer one?”
“Oh did i? I wanted to watch that as well.”
“You still can. We can watch it again.” Phoebe spoke up.
Piper turned her head to Phoebe, and shook her head. “I’m tired.” She turned back to Paige. “I’ll see you in the morning.” And with that Piper walked up the stairs to her room.
Paige turned to see Phoebe sat staring at the floor. Not moving. “Phoebe you okay?” Phoebe just nodded her head. “You know she is always cranky when she has to do the books.”
“Yeah I guess.” Phoebe whispered. She turned her head to Paige. “So you think she will be mad at me forever?”
Paige frowned, Phoebe sounded so sad, so lost and she looked so small sitting on the couch. “I don’t know Pheebs. That really is up to you two.” Paige stood up.
“Wh.. Where you going?” Phoebe stuttered.
“I’m off to bed. I have to be at work tomorrow.”
“Oh.”
“Look if you want me to stay at home, I will.”
“No its okay. Go, I’ll be okay. Night.”
Paige went to hug Phoebe. “Night.”
Phoebe was about to say ‘love you’ but thought better of it. She didn’t know if Paige would want it.
Morning came to the manor with Paige running around the house, getting ready for work. Which she was late for. Piper laughed when she saw Paige running out the front door.
“Bye Paige.” Piper continued to smile as she walked into the lounge to pull the curtains. She turned around and she stood still. There on the couch was her younger sister, asleep. Piper just stood there and watched her sleep. It had been a long time since she had done that, and she was just wishing for everything to be the way they used to be.
“Hi.” Phoebe spoke as she opened her eyes, squinting as the light hit her eyes.
“Morning. I was just pulling the curtains before I left, I didn’t know you were in here.”
“Yeah, I guess I feel asleep thinking about things.” Phoebe looked down then back at Piper. “You going out again?”
Piper started to walk out the room. “Yeah. I have to go back to the club. I left the books there and I wanted to double check them this morning. Make sure I had done them right. And I also need to do a new order.”
Phoebe swung her legs over the side of the couch sitting up. “Piper wait!”
Piper stopped where she was but didn’t turn around. “What Phoebe? I’m running late.”
Phoebe approached Piper. “Can I come with you?” Phoebe knew it was a long shot but she wanted to ask anyway.
Piper sighed and carried on walking into the kitchen. “I have too much to do Phoebe.”
“But I can help you. Like I used to do.” Phoebe replied walking after Piper.
Piper stopped once again, by the table, and turned around to face Phoebe who was walking into the kitchen. “Look Phoebe. I want some time to myself.” She said harshly.
Phoebe’s face fell. “Piper can we talk?”
“Phoebe, I said I didn’t have time.”
Phoebe was starting to loose her temper. “You have all the time in the world to do your books and re-order things. Why can’t we talk?”
Piper stared intently at Phoebe. “Because I don’t want to talk to you Phoebe.”
“Piper please! I am trying here.” She softened her tone of voice.
“I can see that. But I’m not in the mood.” Piper made a go of getting passed Phoebe but Phoebe grabbed her arm. “Let go Phoebe.”
“No Piper, we need to talk!”
Piper sighed. “Fine!”
Piper followed Phoebe into the lounge once again. Phoebe sat down on the sofa but Piper remained standing.
“Piper why don’t you talk to me anymore? Why do you keep avoiding me?” Phoebe asked softly.
Piper shifted on one foot to the other. “You should be able to answer that yourself Phoebe.” She answered coldly.
“Is it because I turned evil again?”
Piper shook her head, laughing. “Do you really think that that has anything to do with it?” Phoebe just looked at Piper. “I’ll tell you. It has a little to do with why I am mad but not everything. Can’t you even remember what you did, what you said?” Phoebe shook her head. “Oh my god! Why the hell am I talking to you for if you can’t remember?”
Phoebe jumped up and stopped Piper yet again from leaving. “Piper, tell me please.” Tears started making there way down her face.
Piper tugged her arm free of Phoebe’s hand. “You really want to know Phoebe! You really want to know?” She saw Phoebe just staring at her. “You turned evil Phoebe, yet again. But the worse part was when you chose Cole over your own flesh and blood. You chose him over me. Over me and Paige.” Piper had tears running down her face. “TWICE!!!” with that Piper stormed out of the manor. Leaving Phoebe to dwell on what she had just been told.
Part 4
Phoebe was dumbfounded by what Piper had just said. She couldn’t believe that she would do that. Not chose evil over her sisters, over her family. But Phoebe realised she had done just that. She looked down at her stomach. “And it’s all thanks to you.” She whispered, as her hand rolled over her stomach, where hers and Coles, no hers and the sources baby was. Phoebe didn’t know how to make the wrong right. She didn’t know how to make Piper trust her again. Or Paige. “But at least Paige is talking to me.”
“Who’s talking to who?” A voice spoke from the doorway.
Phoebe looked up to see Paige standing there. “Nothing. How come your home?”
Paige looked shocked at Phoebe’s appearance. Yes she had seen her with tear streaks down her cheeks before and swollen, puffy eyes. But somehow this was different. And she had a feeling she knew why. “My boss let me go. Said something about no point coming in at the end of the week. That I should come in first thing Monday, and start afresh there.” Paige shrugged her shoulders. “Now want to tell me what is up with you?”
Phoebe looked down, too ashamed to look at Paige any longer. She couldn’t understand how she was still talking to her, still wanting to associate herself with her after everything she had done.
Paige noticed Phoebe’s reluctance to talk. So she took a shot at what was bothering her. “You and Piper talked didn’t you?” Phoebe just nodded her head. Paige sighed. “So I’m guessing she told you what happened?”
“Yeah. Paige why didn’t you tell me?”
“Don’t lay this on me Phoebe. What you did hurt us real bad, and it was down to you that we were hurting. It was not up to me or in fact Piper to tell you what had happened. You should have remembered yourself. Can’t you remember at all, now that Piper has told you?”
Phoebe nodded her head. “I thought it was a dream. I didn’t think I had actually done it. I mean I knew I went with Cole when you, Piper and Leo came to his apartment. But I only thought the second time was a dream. Brought on by this little one.” Phoebe patted her stomach. Paige frowned which wasn’t lost on Phoebe. “You want me to get rid of him don’t you?”
Paige shook her head. “I believe that baby inside you is evil, but it’s your baby and only you can make the choice of what to do. What about the second time. Do you remember?”
“Yeah.”
“Don’t you think you should go and talk to Piper? Talk to her, tell her why you did what you did. Because she went through hell when you chose him over her. So much that she started to drink and nearly let an innocent die.”
Phoebe stared wide eyed at Paige. “I didn’t know.”
“There’s a lot of things you don’t know. That I believe you need to.” Paige started walking towards the kitchen. “My keys are by the door.”
Phoebe looked on after Paige. Silently thanking her, she took the keys and drove to where she knew she needed to be.
Piper had gone to P3 and done what she had said she was going to do. She had double checked the books. And re-ordered more stock. Now she sat at the bar with a drink in her hand, thinking of what she could do. She didn’t want to go back to the manor, as Phoebe would be there. And she didn’t know where Leo was at that moment. He had been absent since the day after Phoebe returned home. Piper sighed again as she thought of Phoebe. But she quickly dismissed the thought. And thought of Paige. She couldn’t believe what a rock Paige had been these last few weeks. She knew Paige must be hurting. She just hadn’t shown it like she had. Piper vowed in herself to treat Paige to a special Piper day. Piper grinned as she made the lame joke. She turned around to go get her coat and bag when she stopped. Piper blinked, she couldn’t be standing there. Half of her wanted her there but the other half was screaming, screaming for her to get lost and leave her in peace.
“What do you want Phoebe?” Piper said as she stood and walked to her office, Phoebe walked after her.
Phoebe gulped. This had been so much easier to say in her head. She couldn’t stand the look Piper was giving her. “I.. I .. re..remember..w..what I did. What I said.” She stuttered. “And I just came to apologise. And say that I am sorry.”
Piper shook her head and turned round laughing at Phoebe. “You really think an apology will make things better?”
Phoebe was hurt but she knew she deserved what she was getting. “I am sorry Piper. More than you will ever know. I hurt you deeply and for that I don’t think words can express how sorry I am.”
“Look Phoebe. I know you want to chat but I don’t at this particular moment. I have something to do.” Piper started walking past her. Phoebe stood still. “Are you coming or not?” Phoebe looked up with a little smile on her face. “Don’t get your hopes up Phoebe. I just meant are you going to get out of the club so I can lock up or do I need to lock you in here?”
Phoebe looked down at her feet. “I’m not going any where.”
Piper sighed. “Look I don’t have time for this. I need to lock the club up and go.”
“I’m not moving Piper. So you can either lock me in here or give me the keys to lock up.”
“Do you really think I want to lock you in here?”
“If you don’t then just leave me the keys.”
Piper shook her head. “No chance. I don’t trust you to look after the club anymore. So why would I give you my keys.”
Phoebe’s face dropped even more if that was possible. Piper frowned. ‘That was below the belt.’ She thought to herself.
“Phoebe. I don’t have time for this.”
“Well hard look.” Phoebe had had enough she had tried to be nice. “I know you are hurting Piper but I want to make that right. But you are not giving me the chance. Why are you being a bitch about this?!”
Piper’s mouth dropped open. She couldn’t believe that Phoebe had just said that. “You’ll never change Phoebe.”
Piper stormed out of the club not looking back.
Part 5.
Phoebe mentally slapped herself. Why did she have to say that? She looked down at her belly. “You did this.” She shouted. Tears started trickling down her cheeks yet again. She ran out of the club after Piper.
“Piper! Wait Please!” Phoebe called as she pushed open the club door. “Piper Please!”
Piper heard her sister, but carried on to her car. She was upset. Her sister had turned the whole situation around on her. She wasn’t the bad guy, she hadn’t done anything wrong but Phoebe had made it sound like she was to blame. Piper grabbed her keys from her bag and put them in the lock of the door. She was about to open it when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
Phoebe saw Piper slowing down, trying to get her keys out of her bag. Phoebe kept running. She had to get to Piper.
She reached Piper and turned her around. A pang of guilt ran through Phoebe, straight through her heart as she saw the state Piper was in.
Piper was turned around by a soft hand on her shoulder. Tears streaming down her face she looked in to the eyes of her baby sister, and quickly looked away.
Phoebe felt ashamed. What had she done? She saw the look in Pipers eyes. She winced. She couldn’t believe what she had done. Phoebe removed her hand from Pipers shoulder and grabbed her chin softly and guided her face so that her eyes were level with hers.
“Piper. I’m sorry for what I said back in the club.” She let go of Pipers chin. “It wasn’t you who was being a bitch, it was me. And I’m sorry for that.” Phoebe stopped talking expecting Piper to say something but Piper just stood there staring past Phoebe. Phoebe turned around to see who was behind her. And was greeted by the sad face of her younger sister Paige. Phoebe smiled slightly at Paige but she didn’t return it. Phoebe shook her head. And reached for Pipers hand. “I think we should go talk inside.”
Phoebe held Pipers hand as she neared Paige. Paige opened her mouth to talk but Phoebe grabbed her hand as well and continued on her path to the club.
“Phoebe what are you doing?” Paige questioned.
“We need to talk.” Came Phoebe’s reply.
Phoebe walked down the steps with Piper and Paige. And sat them down in their alcove that they always used when at the club.
Phoebe looked down then back at her sisters before she sat in front of them.
“Paige you’re probably wondering why Piper is upset. Well its because I was being a bitch to Piper and turned everything that had happened because of me onto her. And I am deeply sorry for that.” She looked at Piper. “I came to the club to apologise for the way I had acted for the past few weeks.” Phoebe looked at Paige, and was surprised to see a small smile on her lips.
Paige nodded in Pipers direction. Silently telling her to keep going and to direct most of it at Piper as she had heard most of it.
Phoebe smiled at Paige, nodding her head slightly she carried on, looking at Piper as she spoke. “I’m sorry Piper. I truly am. What I have put you through I will never be able to understand. But I do understand that I hurt you deeply. And nothing I can say or do will change the events that took place and change the fact that I chose Cole over you. Over you and Paige. Over sisterhood. I’m sorry for doing that. And I’m sorry for doing it twice. I am deeply ashamed of what I did. And I hope one day you can learn to trust me again like you used to before all this mess. I just wanted to tell you, both of you that I love you more than words can express.” Phoebe stood up and bent over Piper and placed a kiss upon her cheek. Whispering a small “I love you.” in her ear. Phoebe turned to Paige and did the same thing before walking away.
Piper just let Phoebe pull her into the club, she was still numb from what had been said earlier. She felt Phoebe guide her to their alcove and sit her down along with Paige. She didn’t know what to expect. She was shocked when Phoebe started apologising for what had happened. But still she did not look at Phoebe nor let her know that she had heard her, that she had been listening. She felt Phoebe lean over her and place a gentle kiss upon her cheek along with whispering ‘I love you’. All she wanted to do was pull her into a hug but she couldn’t. She felt the weight shift and knew Paige was getting the same apology. But Piper was shocked as she heard footsteps growing quiet as they walked up the stairs of the club and away from them. Piper shook her self out of the numb state she was in and on shaky feet walked after Phoebe.
Phoebe was walking slowly out of the clubs grounds and about to turn down an ally when she heard the sweetest thing she had heard in a long time.
Piper ran up the stairs. She didn’t want to loose Phoebe again. She saw Phoebe walking slowly, head down, shoulders slumped about to turn down an ally and scolded herself.
“PHOEBE!” Piper called out. Piper saw Phoebe stop before she went down the ally that would lead to the main road. Piper was about to call out again when Phoebe turned around.
Phoebe heard her name being called and she slowly stopped then turned around to be met by the most beautiful site she had taken for granted. Her big sister Piper.
Piper smiled as Phoebe’s eyes locked with hers. Phoebe returned the smile and started walking back to Piper, who was walking to wards her.
Piper threw her arms around Phoebe, pulling her into a much needed and over due hug. Whispering a silent “I love you too”.
Both of them were too engrossed in their long overdue hug to hear Paige approaching before she broke the silence.
“Umm Piper” Paige hated to interrupt the two sisters in front of her. But she knew she must. “You will need to lock up the club.”
Piper lifted her head from Phoebe’s shoulder and looked into Phoebe’s eyes. Both of them making a silent plan, smiling at one another.
Before Paige knew what was happening Phoebe and Piper had her in a bone crushing hug.
Paige started laughing. “I love you too guys.”
End of this story
