I had some free time this morning, and as I was chatting with Jill, I was suddenly inspired. She had jokingly said that she was going to ask me 20 questions, but she could not think of any right off, so I started in, here is the results.

Setting: A woman sits in front of her puter, an evil glint in her eye, ‘Ah the possibilities’. Across the net, another woman sits nervously waiting ‘OMG, what did I agree too’

Adri: Hi Jill, and let me start by saying, thank you for agreeing to this interview.
Jill: Oh, you're very welcome. I'm just glad my schedule's not too busy so that I can take some time to answer your questions.

Adri: How old are you?
Jill: 26, I'll be 27 on November 3.

Adri: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now? *State or country only please*
Jill: I was a Navy Brat, my dad was in the service so I grew up everywhere. I live in Alabama now.

Adri: Are you an only child?
Jill: No. I have an older brother. And I have 47 first cousins...does that count?

Adri: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be, and why?
Jill: Tough one. I love the South and I pretty much couldn't imagine myself anywhere but here. But if I didn't have so much family here...I'd move to Los Angeles in a heartbeat because that's where the dreamer in me lives.

Adri: When your not busy writing, how do you spend your time?
Jill: When I'm not writing, I'm at the movies or reading a good book. I just love all things artistic. I also spend an exorbitant amount of time with my family.

Adri: Who is your favorite author *not fic writers*?
Jill: No fan fic writers? Well, that shortens my list a lot then. Dean Koontz is my man. I love how even his darkest novels and their characters never lose hope. His details are amazing. I also love Kay Hooper. She combines parapsychological with suspense in a marriage of words that is just phenomenal.

Adri: Your married, how has this changed your life?
Jill: You ask good questions. A few weeks before I met my husband, I told my mom that I was never going to get married. I told her that I would never make a good wife. But then I met my husband and I fell in love, yadda, yadda, yadda. Now I actually find myself trying to be the best person I can be. He inspires that in me. The hardest thing was learning how to share everything and trying to get rid of the words my and mine when talking about our things.

Adri: If you could change one thing, in your life, your marriage or the world, what would it be?
Jill: I would find the courage to follow more of my dreams, but mostly I'd find the courage to help other people follow theirs.

Adri: OK, I have asked you some pretty deep questions, so now a bit on the lighter side. What’s the one thing that just makes you want to reach into the puter screen, cuff someone, and say “What are ya doin ya idiot!”
Jill: Oh this is good. I would say when someone leaves their fan fics at a cliffhanger, but I do that, so I can't do that. I think it's when people write really short parts, like a paragraph long. It's enough to get me interested, but not enough to maintain my attention. And I really want to yell at people who say really nasty things about a certain actress on Charmed who we'll call Alyssa. I mean give the girl a break already, at least she didn't end up a coke-head has-been child star.

Adri: Let’s move on to a few Charmed questions. Who is your favorite sister, and why?
Jill: Can I pick two? Piper is my ultimate favorite just because of her constant neurosis. It's so much fun to watch her panic. But Paige is running a very close second because there is so much potential in her character and such a vulnerability in that character that really endears her to me.

Adri: What has been the best season in your opinion and why?
Jill: I'm thinking that this is going to be the best season just because Rose McGowan has gotten comfortable in her role and I think that will enable Holly and Alyssa to interact better with her. And I think the whole baby thing is going to be a lot of fun. But...this season isn't even close to being underway, so I'lll go with season 2, with exception to my favorite episode ever...Chick Flick.

Adri: If you were writing the show, what would you do different on it?
Jill: That's a doozy of a question. I'd spend a little more time exploring the effects that losing Prue had on Piper and Phoebe. I'd also make darn sure that there was a lot more insight to Paige. I mean we've spent four years with Piper and Phoebe. We know their characters inside out. We love them silly, but with Paige we're all a little afraid to love her because we have no idea who she really is. I'd speed that process up a little. And I hate to say it...but Cole wouldn't have returned this season.

Adri: What would you like to see in the future on the show?
Jill: I'd like to see a lot more sisterly bonding. I feel that Piper and Paige are getting along quite well, but I'd like to see a little more interaction with Phoebe. And I think it would be workable to have someone who isn't Shannen Doherty to come back as Prue. I'm actually working on a fic about that.

Adri: We have all heard about the falling out between SD and AM, how would you have resolved that so one of them did not leave the show?
Jill: Alright on a serious note...I'd have to sit down with SD and ask her what her inner turmoil is. I mean, a lot of people blame AM for the whole thing, but we cannot dismiss SD's track record, can we? I think there's something in her that makes her defensive and want to run away when people really care...but, on a lighter note. If the rumors were true..I'd have them in a boxing match with HMC as referee and then they could just fight out their frustrations, get it over with and get on with the show. I'd be sure to have a plastic surgeon standing by for all the damage that those two could cause to each other's face.

Adri: Now for a few fic related questions. Of all the fics you have written, what one has been the most personal to you?
Jill: Oy, what a question. The most personal? That would be a tie between Consequences, which is the first one I ever wrote, and Half is Whole which is the one I'm writing now. I think we all struggle with trying to be something to everyone around us. We all play our parts.

Adri: What fic was the most fun for you to write?
Jill: The Dance because of the water gun fight...and Personal Gain, Personal Pain, because of the whole Wizard of Oz goes evil motif.

Adri: What type of fics do you like to read?
Jill: I'm a suspense lover. Anything that keeps me on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the next part. I also love the tear-jerkers.

Adri: If you could challenge anyone on the boards to write a story, who would that be, and what would the plot be?
Jill: Oh...the evilness factor grows within...so many victims to choose from. I'd say the plot would have to be the most challenging thing. The author would have to write their least favorite sister in such a way that the readers fell in love with her and even he or she couldn't help but love her. And I think I'd extend that challenge to you bet-making mongrels that keep all of us in peeing our pants. Di, Freaky, and you, Adri.

Adri: Last question, what advice would you give to younger writers?
Jill: Just write. Don't stress about every plot point, every minor detail. Just write from the heart. Make the characters real to you. In time you will find your own style and you'll perfect it.

Adri: I want to say thank you for your time. It was very interesting to actually interview someone, you are my first victim, err, guest, and I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.
Jill: I did...I really did. You are a great interviewer. You should look into this full time, you know? Thank you for letting me be a part of it.

Adri: As my first interviewee, who would you like to see on the next show?
Jill: You should...I think it would be awesome to read about everyone. It's great. It's like Revealed with Jules Asner...but you can call it: Spellbound with Adri To keep up with the board theme and all. And I'd like to see one of three people on your next show...Di, Freaky, or Red.

Adri: I like the name, thank you, I will use that. Well, that’s all the time we have today, tune in next week for another ‘up close and personal’ with my next victim, err, guest.

*Fade out*

Adri: *mumbles to myself* I really have to stop calling them victims
