Prue walked home with her sisters. Piper walked next to her and Phoebe walked behind them. Piper was talking to her but Prue wasn’t really listening. She was thinking how to confront Andy. Her thoughts were interrupted; someone was tugging on her jacket. She turned Phoebe was pulling on her jacket. She sighed and gave her a nudge, so she was in front of her. Phoebe knew that Prue did that so she could see her.

"What, hon?" Prue asked gently.

"Where did Grams go?"

"She went over to Aunt Gail’s."

The three went up the steps and into the steps. They set their stuff on the couch.

"Andy’s coming over later. To keep us company. His dad’s also bring over his brother, he’s very overprotective."

Later the door bell rang. Phoebe ran ahead of Prue to answer it. She opened the door. There was Andy and his dad. Phoebe gave Specky Ralph a hug. When she was younger she could pronounce Inspector so she said Specky. Like Becky.

"Hey, kid!" Ralph picked her up.

"Where’s Prue?" Andy asked in the living room.

Andy walked in to see Prue reading her sat next to you. She smiled when she saw him.

"Hey," Andy said but only got a smile in response. " Uh . . .so what do you wanna do."

"Watch a movie?"

"Alright!"

They sat down and watched.

After it was over Prue looked at him.

"Andy, I have something to tell you."

"Yeah?" Andy said barely looking up.

"I like you and . . .I want to be than friends. We’re best friends but, I wanna be more than that."

Andy got up. He was shocked.

"Uh . . . I gotta go. I’ll see you later . . .bye."

Prue stood up.

"You can’t just walk away," she yelled heart broken that he ignored her confession. But that didn’t help, he did. He walked away.

Prue sat on the couch in silence. She couldn’t believe it. He walked away. Like he didn’t hear what she had said. She felt like she was going to be ripped in two.

No! She wasn’t going to let him have the satisfaction of being responsible for Prue Halliwell putting her guard down. She stood up and ran upstairs to her room. When she got there, she ran to her closet and started looking for something.

Meanwhile, down the hall, Phoebe heard all the noise. She slowly walked down to Prue’s and Piper’s room. Prue was digging in her closet.

"Got it!" She held her yearbook in the air. Phoebe curiously stood in the doorway. Prue sat on her bed and began flipping through it. Phoebe walked over and sat next to her.

"What are we doing?" she asked. Prue looked up from the yearbook. Don’t be mad at Phoebe, she told herself. It wasn’t her fault.

"We’re looking for a boy." Phoebe’s eyebrows weaved together.

"What? Why would you want to do that, boys are yucky."

"Not when you get older."

"I won’t like them."

"I have a feeling you will, Pheebs. More than me and Pip." (Of course she turned out to be right, as we all know.)

Prue glanced down at her yearbook. Then she saw him, Fuller Brettin, her very first crush. She had liked him ever since she was eleven. She smiled; she had a plan.


The next day, in science the last class of the day, Prue turned around and handed Fuller a note. He was hot! Like extremely hot. (To give you readers some idea of what he looks like, think of Heath Ledger, plus Ron Melendez (u know from Legacy, he’s such a hottie. (Legacy’s not on nemore)) Fuller smiled and took the note just as the bell rang. As he stood up and grabbed his bag, he read it.

Fuller,

I like u! Will you go out with me?

p.s. give the note back ASAP

Fuller smiled. Circled one and gave it to Prue.

She looked he had circled . . . . . . . yes.

For the next couple of weeks they went everywhere together. He met her family and she met his. They went to the movies, to dances, libraries, everywhere. Almost every day Prue would see Andy looking at them, she smiled a smile that could be read as, "look what you missed out on."

But yet there was one problem. Fuller was so sweet, and cute and all around great( he’s a Leo minus the whitelighter part). She had only gone out with him to make Andy jealous, . . . . . . but she was beyond falling for him, she had almost forgotten why she asked him out in the first place. Now she wished she hadn’t asked him out for that reason. She didn’t want to hurt him. And personally if Andy did ask her out. She thought she would stay with Fuller. This was bad, very bad.

Prue and Fuller walked home together. Her sisters liked Fuller, well sort of. Prue was surprised. It was usually all or nothing. Either both Phoebe and Piper like him or they didn’t, but never apart. Phoebe didn’t like him (‘Sleuthing With The Enemy’ Prue said ‘It’s not liked you liked any of my boyfriends either’ I think that’s the line. This is the first boyfriend Prue has ever had.) He was nice to her. But you see Phoebe thought if Prue didn’t have the choice of Andy she would have liked Fuller. But Prue did have the choice.

They got to the front steps of the Manor and they stopped. Prue pushed her sisters up the steps, not only because she wanted to be alone, but she had noticed that Piper had been showing signs of affection toward Fuller. Prue watched Phoebe close the door behind her and turned back o Fuller. She liked him but she likes Andy too. Fuller bent down to kiss her and Prue kissed him back. They kissed for what seemed like forever.



"I got to go Prue," Fuller said pulling away with a smile. "I’ll see ya."

And he walked to his house . . . . . .next door, the house that would belong to a guy in the future, who would fall in love with a girl and make her chose between a former handy-man and him.

Prue watched him go into the house and she knitted her eyebrows. How was she going to fix this? She could possibly chose. Could she?

The next day at lunch. Fuller was talking to her about football practice. Prue’s eyes kept drifting to Andy. He would smile back.

I miss him. Maybe he misses me, she thought and she stared at Fuller, pretending to listen. But then her attention went to Fuller. But I love him too. But when I think about him I think it’s Andy. Her thoughts began to blend like a color wheel. Her ears then heard Fuller stop talking. Her gorgeous blues eyes looked at him. His eyes couldn’t be read.

Finally the bell rang. Before Prue got up Fuller grabbed her arm gently. His war smiled on his face.

"Can I talk to you before we leave school?"

Prue nodded. He smiled and walked away.

He was a great guy, but she wanted Andy. She finally thought up a solution as she got her books out of her locker. She had to end the relationship with Fuller. It wasn’t fair to him. Not to a great guy like that.


At the end of the school day, Prue waited for Fuller in front of the school. Bag on shoulder, books in hand, she waited. Finally she caught sight of Fuller.

"Fuller–’’

"Prue–’’



The both started at the same time.

"You go first —’’ They did again.

"I’ll go." Fuller said with a sigh. Oh, God he’s going to need my support for something, Prue thought worriedly. "Prue look at me. I love you. And I know on the outside you love me, but not inside. I’ve accepted the fact that you only went out with me to make Andy jealous. And —’’

"Fuller, I’m sorry."

"Let me finish." He sighed again. "And I accept that. Even though you have affection on the outside doesn’t mean it’s true, both ways inside. Listen I’m not mad. Believe it or not you’re my first girlfriend. Girls look at me and gigle but no one has ever asked me out. You showed me that there are great girls out there. Only the one I happen to like and love a lot likes someone else. So obviously I think we should see other people. Plus I kinda like some else. And I think she’ll like me back." He gave a little chuckle. He’s so sweet, Prue thought.

Prue looked at Fuller and smiled. She reached up and pulled him into a hug. She put her mouth close to his ear.

"You’re going to find a wonderful girl. She’s going to be the luckiest in the world. And I’ll be so happy for both of you. Good luck Fuller."

She let go and she began to walk away. But she turned around.

"Thank you, Fuller."

He had too, shown her what love felt like. And Prue had to admit it, she loved it!

She walked home with her sisters in silence. Piper was unusually happy. Phoebe was also happy. Prue was too excited to asked why.

When they got him the two ran in. But Prue sat on the steps and looked at the neighborhood. Fuller went up his front steps. Prue waved. Surprisingly he waved back with a smile. She didn’t have long to think about it though.

"Hi Prue." Andy stood there in front of her, smiling.

He sat down next to her. They sat there silently for awhile.


"You know, it’s a guy thing to deny that his best friend forever, happens to be the girl he likes. I was just getting used to it when you dropped the bomb on me. Actually yesterday I still wasn’t sure if I liked you. But when I heard why and when you broke up with Fuller. I swear I was the happiest man alive." Andy smiled at Prue, and Prue smiled and him.

"You’re not a man yet Trudeau." Prue had told him that whenever he called himself a man. He smiled too.

Prue sat the not looking at him, just smiling. Then she smiled wider, for he had slipped his hand in hers. Then he leaned over and kissed her. He pulled away for a second.

"I may have walked away. But if you walk away, how are you ever going to get home?"

Prue smiled and he leaned back in again and they kissed for what seemed like forever.


Later Prue found out why Fuller was so happy. . . . . . . . . . . .. . he was dating Piper.


After Piper dumped him, after dating him for six and a half years(an all time Halliwell sister record). Prue was so sad for him when they broke up. She assumed that he broke up with her, it was vice versa. Piper was getting tired of him. But they couldn’t get rid of him that easy . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Phoebe asked him out. Of course their relationship didn’t last as long as Piper’s.
