Piper – 14
Phoebe –10
Grams had left again and me and Pip were left in charge of the little babe. I love me baby sister and all but she can get very annoying. It had been a week since Grams left, it was Friday again and we were dying to do something. We had formed a plan. I hired this guy, Baxter, he’s in my class, to watch her. I didn’t really trust him, but Andy said he would watch her with him.
We drove to toward the elementary school, trying to figure out what to tell Phoebe.
"We’re going out. We can say that, right?" I said with little hope. We hadn’t left Phoebe alone in a long time. Piper looked at me with disapproval written all over her face.
"Uh, . . no! Well, I guess if Andy’s watching her too, it’s no biggie." Her brown eyes looked into mine. This is going to be an interesting debate with my sister, the sad this is, she usually wins.
We pulled up in front of the school. There was Phoebe, smile plastered onto her face. She approached the car.
"Hey honey," Piper said as I took her back pack and picked her up and put her on the hood of the car. " We have to talk."
" Okay."
"Listen, me and Piper want to go out tonight. Andy and my friend Baxter are going to watch you." I decided to added a bribe. "We’ll let you rent any movie you want."
Phoebe’s big brown eyes looked at me. She didn’t want us to go, I could tell. I sighed waiting for her reply.
"You’ll come back right?"
"Of course, Phoebe. We always will. Why would you say that?"
"Grams hasn’t come back." I hugged Phoebe. I had never thought of how all of this was getting to Phoebe. I smiled crossed her face, even though I could tell part of it was fake.
"Two movies and you have a deal."
We hugged Phoebe in joy. We were so happy.
It was going to be a fabulous night for me and Pip, or at least that was what we thought.

Piper – 14
Phoebe –10
We got ready. All we were going to do is go to a private party at my friends’ house. Piper was a freshman, and let’s face it she’s really smart, but she’s failing in her social skills. I told her I would bring her to a party. I always keep my promises, right?
I ran down the hall after finishing and went to Piper and Phoebe’s room. Phoebe was somewhere around the house. Piper was sitting on her bed. She was casually dressed like Prue had told her too. She was sitting quietly on the bed. She’s nervous, I realized. I sat down next to her.
"You have nothing to be worried about Pip," I said trying to found reassuring. "It’ll be fine."
She took a nervous deep breath and got up. I guided her down the stairs and onto the first floor. We walked into the living room. Phoebe was on the couch watching one of the movies we rented. She was obviously fighting sleep. And believe me when watching a little kid fighting sleep is very funny.
I walked over to sit next to her as I heard Baxter come through the door. The stroked her hair. And kissed her on the forehead.
"I’ll see you later baby," I said and I guided Piper out the door.
We hoped into my car, and we drove to Gwen’s house. She was so loaded. Her parents were rich. I put the car in park. Party here we come.
A few hours later
I had my eye on Piper the whole time. I could always see her, she wasn’t having fun. She was so miserable. I had promised I would rescue her. However, I was having the time of my life. It was mainly just my grade. So Piper was overall the only freshman. People were dancing, making out, and over making a mess. Piper on the other hand, was just twirling her hair.
Okay, I lied technically I was having a sucky time. A few of my friends were their but not my really close friends. I wonder where they were. Plus my beau wasn’t there. We, or at least I had, been very clingy. I wanted to be with Andy 24/7. Hey I could help it.
After a about a half hour of pushing through the crowd I finally got to Piper and we snuck out of the party. When we go the car there was beer on the windshield and vomit on the hood, I don’t think I need to explain.
"Oh! Yuck!" I yelled with frustration. Piper got in mostly disgusted, not mad. Piper usually skips over the mad part and goes straight to "pissed off." It takes a little more to get her mad. Plus it was my car.
Great, I thought as we drove home in silence. This night was a complete failure. All of sudden I hear police sirens. I looked in my rear view mirror. Then at how fast I was going. Oh shit!!!!
I took the ticket from the officer and we drove off, . . . .again. I was furious most of the way home. About a block from home. Piper turned to me smiling.
"I kinda had a better time in the car with you. It’s okay Pure I’ll help you pay it. I have money." I smiled, she’s so sweet.
"No, it’s okay Pip, but I’m glad I could entertain you."
"Well, at least things can’t get any worse." She spoke too soon.
In front of my house, were dozens of cars. The good news is I found my friends. We got out and ran up the steps.
"You do know this is your fault, right?" I asked Piper more mad at the whole situation than Piper.
I opened the door. Music cranked up, people loud. OMG! This is bad.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I yelled AT the top of my lungs. Everyone and everything stopped.
They all were looking at me and Piper.
"As much fun as this is, I would love to join but this is my house and I have to clean this up." This wasn’t going to get people out but I knew this would. " My Grams and her cop boyfriend will be home soon."
I had to pull Piper out of the way, before we were almost stampeded. The only ones left standing were Andy and Baxter. With two identical looks of fake innocence.
"Baxter get out." He sighed and started to leave. "Wait! Where is my sister?"
He looked at me like I was a terrible human being, like he had no idea I even had a sister.
"I was trying to get them out!" Andy all of a sudden said.
This was bad, this is very, very, very bad.
Part3
Prue – 16
Piper – 14
Phoebe –10
My jaw dropped. I had to find Phoebe! I ran upstairs. I burst through Phoebe and Piper’s bedroom. She was no where in site. In frustration I put my hand on my forehead.
Piper came, she too noticed that Phoebe was gone. We stayed up in the room pacing back in fourth, debating on what we should do.
"I know we can . . ." Piper tried, but came up with nothing.
"Piper, hon, I love you but next time you say "oh I have an idea" double check to make sure you do, okay?" Piper smiled weakly at me. She knew I was frustrated. How bad was this night going to get. Then I heard someone pull up into the drive way. I spoke too soon. "Grams!"
Piper and I ran downstairs to clean, but surprisingly the boys already had everything cleaned up. I smiled at Andy and he smiled back a look of reassurance and love that will never fade. Plus his cuteness gave him an extra ten points on his official "Prue Ranking Card."
Grams came through the door, looking somewhat exhausted, but she had her look of determination of her face. It was then that I knew that she forgave me and knew why their had been a party here, even though there was no evidence left in sight, but she knew one thing, Phoebe was missing. She closed the door behind her and set her stuff down. Then I watched as she angrily turned to Baxter.
"Now, if you have any idea where my granddaughter is, tell me now! If you do not, I’ll talk to your parents later and you will leave immediately."
He gave a guilty, sheepish smile. Then he turned on his heels and left. When the door was completely latched, grams turned to us, she was yet again in action.
"Okay, Andy go home and get your father back her and tell him about the whole situation. And please get to the main point fast." Andy turned and ran out of the house. Andy is such a good runner. It took a lot of strength not to watch his butt as he ran down the street. Then Grams turned to us.
"Girls, you stay down here and try to figure out where she could be. I’ll be right back."
Before we could say anything she ran upstairs. We sat there, looking back on it now, I understand that we were too much in shock and panic to think straight. For when Grams finally came back down and told us where she thought Phoebe was, it makes some much since. But however it seemed weird to me that she got an answer all of a sudden. I learned later that she had a little help in magic. I quickly forgot that when Andy and his dad came rushing in, right as we followed Grams out the back door into the tree house. In the tree house was Phoebe, kissing a boy. She was ten for God sakes. I didn’t know it then but that would be the last time I walked in on her. I also learned later that that was Phoebe’s first kiss. I found out later what happened in the tree house, but that’s another story.
Grams followed Phoebe up in her arms and told her never to scare her like that again. That reaction went all around. Finally we got out of the tree house and back into the house.
The little boy Phoebe was kissing, not making out with, behind us. WE were just about to ask him who he was. When a handsome boy ran through the door. Apparently his parents had left town and he had to take car of Jordan, Phoebe’s kissing classmate. But the boy’s name was Chris, and he was interested in Piper. He gave her his number.
I guess a night where the worst things can happen, have the best results
