The Hurt Sister
Paige-28
Prue-27
Piper-25
Phoebe-22
Part 1:
Prue woke up to the beeping of an alarm clock. As it got louder and louder by the second, she aimed with her hand at her nightstand where the clock was supposed to be. But on feeling her hand landing on wood and not plastic, she slowly opened her eyes. The beeping continued. Sure it did, the clock wasn’t on the place it used to be simply because this wasn’t her room. Not that this room was less familiar to her. How many times had she woken up in here, right on this bed?
She turned around as the loud noise stopped and spotted a figure standing there, the alarm clock in his hands. She smiled.
“Morning honey.” She greeted, her voice still a little hoarse and sleepy.
“Morning baby. Sorry, did this stupid thing wake you?” He said as he crawled on the bed again, drawing on his girlfriend a long passionate kiss.
“Mmm... it’s okay, I don’t mind it waking me as long as I can get this…” She kissed him again.
“Hey, it’s so rare that we can both get a day off and it’s so beautiful outside, why don’t we go to the park today?” He looked into her piercing blue eyes.
“Yeah, good idea. It’s nearly noon already, isn’t it? Let’s get ready then.” She answered while tracing his chest with her finger.
“Okay. Hey, why don’t you call your sisters, they can join us.”
“You don’t mind if they are there?”
“No, of course not. I’ve already had you just for me last night, I can share you with your sisters today.” He finished with a kiss. “I love you, Prue.”
“I love you too, Andy.”
The Halliewell manor was filled by the sound of a phone ringing. “Pheebs, will you get it?” Piper called out from the kitchen. On hearing no answer, she sighed and walked to the phone.
“Hello?”
“Piper? Hey it’s me. You guys already eaten?” Prue’s voice was heard on the other side.
“Um, no. Why?”
“Well, Andy suggested going to the park for a picnic. We could eat there if you want. All of us.”
“Yeah that’d be great. I mean the weather’s perfect. Speaking of Andy…had a good night?” Piper asked grinning.
“Oooohh... you don’t want to know!” Prue replied, a silly laugh escaping her.
“That bad?”
”Are you kidding? That was good! It was perfect actually. Especially when he…”
”Prue!! I don’t want to know, you’re right!!” Piper said loudly.
“Oh and when he…”
“PRUE!!!”
“Relax, Pipe. Just kidding.” Prue laughed as she nearly saw her sister's embarrassed face.
“Gosh, you’re unbelievable! Anyway, I’ll fix some sandwiches then. See you, say, in about an hour?” Piper asked glancing at the clock.
“Yep. Hour’s fine. Bye and don’t let Pheebs eat all the sandwiches on the way, okay?”
“Yeah, I’ll watch her.” Piper chuckled.
She hung up the phone and shook her head in disbelief though with a smile on her face. She then made her way to the living room to tell her sisters.
“Hey Paige, Pheebs, want to go to the…” She stopped in mid sentence as she saw the scene before her and her smile got wider. Phoebe was fast asleep sitting on the couch, her head on Paige’s shoulder, the TV still left on, the remote still clutched in Phoebe’s hand. Paige was quietly reading a magazine. She looked up as she saw Piper entering the room.
“Hey. Sorry I didn’t get the phone but I just didn’t want to wake her by moving too much. Who was it?” She said in a hushed voice and smiled at her little sister who was now approaching them.
“It was Prue.” Piper sat down on the couch carefully so as not to wake her baby sister. “She asked if we wanted to go to the park with her and Andy. I said yes, is that okay?” She asked, gently taking the remote from Phoebe’s hand and switching off the TV.
“Yeah, sure. Would be a shame to stay inside when it’s so warm and sunny.” Paige answered. Piper then looked at Phoebe.
“How long has she been asleep now? Are you okay, I mean with her using you as a human pillow? You must be stiff already from not moving.” Piper giggled.
“Nah, it’s not that bad. She’s been out for maybe half an hour now. Pheebs isn’t much of a morning person anyway and sitting on a soft comfy couch with the comfiest pillow on earth watching TV doesn’t help her stay awake. I wonder if she’ll ever truly be awake before noon.” She laughed.
“True. Okay Paige, I’m going to start on the sandwiches now. We leave in about half an hour so make sure Pheebs is awake and ready to go by then.” She then stood up and went back into the kitchen.
Paige watched Piper disappeared and then looked down at the sleeping form slumped against her shoulder. She gently shook her.
“Phoebe. Wake up, sweetie.”
“Mmmm.... nooo. Weave me.” She mumbled as she adjusted her head on Paige again. Paige laughed at this and went to plan B.
“Honey, it's already afternoon.” She said kissing her little sister on the head. Phoebe showed no reaction first but suddenly her eyes shot open and she sat upright.
“It’s afternoon? Oh my god, I wanted to enjoy this day and not sleep the whole time! Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“Calm down Pheebs, it’s still before noon. I just wanted to get you up.” She grinned, earning herself a playful slap from Phoebe.
“Don't ever do that again! I thought my weekend was already over.” Phoebe laughed as she let out a sigh of relief.
“Um, Prue called and she asked if we wanted to go to the park.”
“Yeah of course I want to! When are we leaving?” Paige laughed again as Phoebe’s face instantly lightened up on hearing the idea.
“Half an hour.” Paige answered.
“Alright I’ll get ready then.” With that, she left the living room and headed upstairs, humming on the way. Paige just smiled and shook her head.
“Man, I’m starving.” Prue said as she leaned backwards against Andy, both sitting on a blanket on the grass.
“Me too. Can’t wait for Piper’s sandwiches to make their way into my mouth.” He said smiling widely, running his hand through his girlfriend’s long dark hair. It was then that they spotted three figures walking over to them with a basket and a cooler.
“They looked familiar to me.” Prue grinned.
“Uh huh. There comes my sandwich.” Andy grinned back, receiving a playful punch on his shoulder.
“Hi you two.” Piper greeted with a big smile seeing her big sister and her ‘big brother’. Andy and Prue had been dating on and off nearly her whole life.
“Hey guys. Was about time. What took you so long?” Prue asked as she made some space for her sisters to sit.
“Sorry but I had to watch a certain someone and keep her from laying her fingers on my sandwiches.” Piper said playfully glaring at Phoebe.
“I did not!” Phoebe said in defense.
“Yes you did. Now come on let’s eat, now’s the right time, sweets.” Paige said ruffling Phoebe’s hair.
“Paige! Ahh never mind.” Phoebe said as she acted exasperated and grabbed one of the sandwiches.
“So you two had a good time yesterday?” Paige asked.
“Yeah. It’s so good to finally spend some quality time together. We’ve both been busy the whole time.” Andy replied.
“You can say that aloud. Prue’s so much of a workaholic.” Paige knew that wasn’t the only reason Prue was always busy. She was glad that for once the demons and warlocks stayed away when her little sister had a date. It was so hard to hide a secret that one's a witch.
“She is. But I’m not really different either, I have to admit.” Andy smiled at Paige.
“Well, Andy, as long as you stop before you break down it’s not a bad thing. It means you love your work, can’t be any better, right?”
“Yeah, that’s true. And it still takes a lot until I break down. But thanks for caring.” He answered.
“Welcome. You're practically my little brother.” Paige said as she got up. “Okay who wants to go for a little walk?”
“I do.” Prue and Piper said as they got up, too.
“I’ll stay here. Somebody has to watch the things here, right?” Andy said indicating to the boxes and everything that was on the blanket.
“I’ll give you some company, Andy.” Phoebe looked up to him.
“You sure? You can go with your sisters if you want.” He replied. Nobody knew that he didn’t really mean it. The youngest was becoming prettier and prettier every day. He started to like the occasions he was alone with Phoebe. Not even Phoebe herself noticed this.
“Nah it’s fine. I’m too lazy to get up right now, anyway.” She replied.
“Ok, see you in about twenty minutes then.” Prue said as the three girls walked away.
“Guess we’re on our own now.” Andy said somewhat happily but Phoebe didn’t notice it.
“Yeah. Any ideas what to do?” Phoebe asked innocently. This was her ‘big brother’ she knew since she was born. The one that had carried her on his shoulders, the one that had been there for her to talk to when she wanted to know some things about guys, the one that took her to her first party and in doing so being yelled at by Paige and Prue for getting her drunk. She still looked up to him for guidance and couldn’t help but feel as if she was six years old again when being with him.
“Sorry Pheebs, no idea. Let’s just enjoy the sun.” He replied. So they sat there talking about everything and nothing. They didn’t even realize the minutes go by.
“So you and Darryl helped that old lady afterwards?” Phoebe asked. They were now talking about some case he had earlier.
“Yeah. I mean she was helpless on her own and…” He stopped when he looked at Phoebe’s face.
“What?” Phoebe asked but then she noticed something wet under her nose. As she touched it and looked at her fingers, she saw blood on them.
“Whoa. Nosebleed.” She reached for a napkin lying on the blanket but she got a little scared when the bleeding got worse as she leant forward to pick it up. “Uh oh.” She quickly put her hand under her nose.
-----
Part 2:
“Here wait. Take this.” Andy grabbed the towel that covered the basket and went behind Phoebe, holding the towel in place from behind her. It was then he noticed it. His eyes started to trace her body up and down. His expression changed from one of joy to an evil grin across his face and wasn't noticed by Phoebe who had the back to him. He took in the sweet scent of her hair; his face slowly closed the distance to her neck. The hand that was not holding the towel started its way down her shoulder to her upper arm. His fingers brushed against her breast. He felt his breath getting faster, he felt hotter.
“A…Andy?” Phoebe didn’t really know what was happening. Was it just her imagination or was he actually trying to touch her? Before she could find it out and answer that question, she heard a voice from behind.
“Andy? What are you doing there?” It was Prue. Andy put his hand back on the towel. Nobody saw it.
“Oh God Phoebe! What happened?” Piper rushed to her little sister as she saw the bloodstained towel and some stains on her shirt as well.
“I think it’s the dry air here. Made her nose bleed a bit.” Andy said to the concerned looking Piper.
“A bit? It’s still bleeding like hell. You okay, Pheebs?” Prue said as she stepped next to Andy, taking the towel in her hand and taking his place behind Phoebe. Phoebe just nodded her head. She was way too confused to say anything now. Her bleeding nose was the last thing she cared about. What bothered her was the feeling of Andy’s usually so warm hands turning into cold hands that made her feel more than awkward.
“Prue, take this and hold it in place on the back of her neck.” Paige handed Prue a can of coke from the cooler. “Pheebs hold your head up.” She instructed.
Phoebe did as she was told even if she was only half listening. Her head was full of the thoughts of what she would do if he actually tried something. It had to be a mistake. It must have been her imagination. Her ‘brother’ would never try to touch her or hurt her. She pulled back as she suddenly felt something cold touching the back of her neck.
“It’s okay Phoebe, just a can. Keep your head up, honey.” Prue said as she held on to her sister. Paige realized that Phoebe had been unusually quiet since they came back. She knew a nosebleed wouldn’t keep her from talking. It never did. She also noticed the confused and even a bit scared expression. She stepped close to Phoebe and took her hand in hers.
“Sweetie, you okay? You’re so quiet.” She asked softly. Phoebe then found her voice.
“Yeah, Paige. I just got a bit scared of all the blood.” This wasn’t a complete lie. In the beginning she was really a little shocked.
“Aww honey, there’s no need for that. You’re okay.” Paige said as she gave her sister’s hand a reassuring squeeze.
“Can we go home, please? I don’t feel so good.” Phoebe asked. She needed to get some time alone to sort her thoughts. Until then, she wasn’t going to say anything to her sisters.
“Okay. It’s probably just the blood loss, baby. Don’t worry.” Prue said as she handed the can of coke back to Paige. “Hold the towel there, alright?” She then let go of it. “Sorry Andy. I think I’ll go home as well. Call me?”
“Sure Prue.” He then turned to Phoebe. “You’ll be okay, don’t worry. Drink some grape juice, it’s good for blood loss.”
Just until half an hour ago Phoebe would have thought that it was a look of concern. Now she felt so uncomfortable being looked at by Andy. But she nodded anyway; she didn’t want to get her sisters’ attention by behaving strangely. She didn’t expect this to be the beginning of hell on earth.
-----
The drive home was made in silence. For the three older sisters, it might have seemed that the silence was caused by tiredness. They didn’t know what was going on in their baby sister’s head. Phoebe kept on thinking about Andy and his hands. She had felt his face on her neck. She leaned against the window and sighed. Actually she sighed more than once on the drive home but she wasn’t aware of that. Unlike Piper. She was sitting in the backseat with Phoebe and everytime she sighed, she glanced at her with a concerned expression. As she heard her sister let out a breath for the fifth time now, Piper put a hand on Phoebe’s knee.
“You okay Pheebs?” She asked quietly.
“Sure Pipe. I feel better already.” Phoebe replied, the bloodstained towel still in her hands.
“Sweetie I think you can put the towel down by now. Come on let me see.” Piper gently took the towel from Phoebe’s hands and looked at her face. “It looks okay. Seems like the bleeding has stopped. But you gotta wash your face when we’re home, baby. And your hands.” Piper laughed. Phoebe didn’t feel like laughing right now but she forced on a smile since she didn’t want her sisters to worry any more.
Arriving at the manor, Phoebe went straight to the bathroom to clean herself up and then to her room and lay down on the bed. She knew her sisters would leave her alone now since they thought she wasn’t feeling too good due to the blood loss. Letting out another sigh, she turned on her side and pulled the covers over her. Her eyes fell on a picture that was taken a very long time ago. She must have been about ten years old. It showed her and all her sisters with Andy in the park. She remebered the day it was taken as if it was yesterday.
---Flashback---
“Andy pass, pass!!” Fifteen year-old Prue yelled as she saw her boyfriend dribbling the ball towards her direction. It was a warm Sunday and the girls and Andy were playing soccer in the park. It was Andy and Prue against Paige and Phoebe. Piper wasn’t really the one to play soccer. But she loved to watch her sisters play as she did today, sitting on the blanket and drinking a soda, totally relaxed and enjoying the sun.
“Okay Prue, there you go!” He said as he passed the ball to Prue. Before Phoebe or Paige could stop her, the ball was in the goal.
“Aarrgh that was only luck, Prue! I’ll show you how to play like a pro!!” Phoebe said as she dribbled towards her goal. She was a really good player, she’s always been more the outdoor kid than the girlie type. But still, there were people who were just faster than her. Like Andy. Before she could even react, Andy had the ball again and was storming off towards his goal again.
“Not this time, Andy!” She shouted as she ran after him with full speed.
Andy saw that both Paige and Phoebe were behind him and there was nothing that could prevent him from scoring now. But he didn’t count with the lightening speed of the youngest. Just as he was about to kick the ball, Phoebe appeared right in front of him. It went too fast for him to react.
“WATCH OUT!!!” Paige yelled but it was too late. Andy had already kicked it with full force, hitting Phoebe right on her stomach.
“PHOEBE!!” Prue and Paige shouted as they ran up to their baby sister who was now lying on the ground crying and clutching her belly.
“Oh shit! I’m sorry Phoebe, I’m sorry!!” Andy said as he bent over Phoebe. But he soon felt two arms pulling him away. He turned around and saw Prue’s angry face.
“Did you have to kick the ball so hard?! God Andy, this is just a game and Phoebe’s barely 10 years old! Couldn’t you be more careful!!?” She screamed at him.
Meanwhile Paige and Piper, who had run up to Phoebe as soon as she heard her cries, were crouching down next to the crying kid. Paige immediately picked Phoebe up into her arms and started rocking her.
“Shhh baby shhhh. You’re okay, come on, I got you now honey, it’s okay. Yeah it hurts, I know sweetie, I know. You’ll be okay, it’ll be okay.” Paige cooed as she rocked the kid back and forth. Phoebe just pushed her face into the crook of Paige’s neck as she cried and cried until the pain subsided.
“I’m so sorry, Pheebs. Can you forgive me?” Andy said in a soft voice as Phoebe quieted down a little more. He looked right into her misty brown eyes as she was still in Paige’s arms.
“It’s okay, Andy. You didn’t do that on purpose.” Phoebe said sweetly. Paige’s grip on Phoebe tightened as she heard this. Her baby sister probably had the biggest heart on earth. While other kids usually get upset or mad at the person who hurt them, Phoebe would always forget her pain first before making any comments on that person. And right now she figured out that Andy didn’t hurt her intentionally. So she wasn’t mad at him. It was that simple to her.
“How can I make this up to you, little one?” Andy asked. He then looked at Paige, his look asking her if he could hold the kid. Paige sighed and let him take Phoebe.
“I know how you can. First, you gotta piggyback me whenever I want it, second, you buy me some ice cream and third,” she now whispered into his ear, “you have to take me to ‘Kill It Before It Dies’, Paige won’t let me.”
“Alright little princess. Your wish is my command. Let’s go then.” He put Phoebe down and on his back again. “She’ll get her ice cream, you okay with that, Paige?”
“Yeah sure. Go.” Paige smiled as she saw the wide grin on her youngest sister’s face again.
“Go Andy, go!!” Phoebe smacked him on his shoulder with her small hands and Andy started to run, making her giggle. “Faster, faster!” She laughed as he got even faster.
He kept his promise back then, she got her ice cream and she even went to watch ‘Kill It Before It Dies’ though her sisters found that out later on as she crawled into their beds in the middle of the night. The picture was taken right after she had eaten her ice cream. Andy had carried her on his back for the rest of the day, enduring all the smackings on his back, shoulder and even head.
---End flashback---
Phoebe smiled at the memory. Poor Andy, he must have been so exhausted afterwards. Her mind wandered back to today’s events. ‘I must’ve been imagining things. Andy wouldn’t hurt me, never. I’m just overreacting.’ She convinced herself and closed her eyes. After a few seconds, she felt herself drifting off to dreamland again.
“Pheebs time to get uuupppp!!” Piper shouted as she roughly pulled back her baby sister’s covers. Phoebe just groaned.
“Oh Piper! I’m on vacation! Let me sleep!” Phoebe laughed as Piper started to tickle her. After five minutes of laughing, Piper was just lying next to Phoebe, her arms around the youngest. She was out of breath but smiling. She then looked closely at her little sister.
“You okay?” Her soft voice rang out.
“Yeah…Yeah I’m okay.” Phoebe said confidently. Yesterday was definitely not as bad as she had imagined before.
“Good. Well then you can come today, too.” Piper said, slowly lifting herself up.
“Where?” Phoebe asked, standing up as well.
“Prue and Paige are gonna help Andy with his house. You know it has to be done up a little.” Phoebe hesitated with her answer upon hearing Andy’s name but then she shrugged it off. She had sorted it out yesterday, right?
“Sure Piper. When are we leaving?”
“When you had your breakfast. So come on now.” Piper walked out of the room pulling Phoebe by the hand.
“Hi Andy!” Prue and Andy hugged as they kissed each other. “Come in.” Andy said as he guided the sisters into his house. His eyes fell on the youngest. “Feeling better?”
“Uh..yeah, thanks.” Phoebe got a little scared again as she saw him standing there. She bit on her lower lip. ‘Come on Phoebe, you’re being paranoid.’ She kept thinking to herself.
“Okay, we got a lot of work to do. Can you two take the kitchen,” he looked to Prue and Piper, “while we three can work in the living room?” now looking at Paige and Phoebe.
“Sure babes. Let’s go then.” Prue said, taking Piper’s hand and walking into the kitchen.
“Thanks so much. You don’t know how much you’re helping me right now.” Andy said to Paige. He now and then looked at Phoebe who was painting the walls but he also knew he couldn’t do it that often since it would look suspicious, even if he was being seen as the ‘brother’ of the youngest. So he had to pay attention to Paige as well.
After another half an hour he couldn’t take it anymore. He thought about how best to come close to the youngest. Then an idea came up.
“Phoebe. You can leave the walls for my Dad now, he’s gonna do that later. Can you start on the chandelier? It has to be cleaned.” He asked nicely.
-----
Part 3:
“Okay, Andy.” Phoebe replied. Busy with all the work, she totally forgot about her weird feelings towards Andy. She put the ladder under the chandelier and climbed up. Just as she reached towards it to clean it, she felt that everything wasn’t really secure as she thought first. The ladder was constantly wobbling. “Uh oh…” A hint of fear was seen on her face.
Andy didn’t miss this. There it was. His chance. He approached the youngest and grabbed the ladder with one hand and Phoebe’s legs with the other. Now she felt it again. The cold hands. She couldn’t help it, they weren’t the same hands they used to be. She wanted nothing more to get down. She felt so insecure there, so… scared.
Paige saw the reaction of her youngest sister when Andy steadied her. She frowned. Wasn’t she supposed to feel better and more secure when someone was there to catch her in case she fell? This time literally. But all she saw on the girl’s face was fear. As if she was scared of the arms that would be there to catch her. She reacted quickly.
“Andy? Can you carry these away, please? It’s too heavy for me. I’ll steady Pheebs.” She indicated to a few trunks that were still left on the floor. Andy felt the anger building inside but he hid it.
“Sure, Paige.” He then left Phoebe who felt plain relief and gratitude towards her oldest sister. Paige came over to her and held the wobbling ladder. But she kept her worried eyes on Phoebe.
“Hey sweetie, can you come down for a second?” She asked quietly as Phoebe obeyed.
“What is it, Paige?”
“What’s wrong Phoebe?” Paige asked in a hushed voice.
“What? I don’t really know what you’re talking about.” She replied, her voice low as well.
“Honey I’ve been watching you. You got scared when Andy held you. I know that. I just don’t know why you’d get scared with him.” Paige looked right into Phoebe’s deep brown eyes.
“Paige, I was scared I’d fall off the ladder. Nothing more.” She smiled to cover her lie. She didn’t know if she would ever be able to tell her sisters about her real feelings.
“But I’ve seen your face. You definitely got more scared when Andy came to help you.” She said with concern.
“That’s cause he made it wobble even more. I really thought I was gonna fall off.” Now she laughed to hide her real feelings.
“You sure?”
“Yes, Paige. I’m sure. Now would you let me finish this?” Phoebe pointed up to the chandelier.
“Okay.” Paige wasn’t really convinced but let go of it for now. Neither sister noticed Andy’s eyes watching them. What if Phoebe had told Paige anything? He wasn’t even sure if the youngest was already aware of his feelings but then again, she was indeed a bit clumsy around him. He couldn’t risk any of her sisters learn about his intentions. So there was just one thing to do.
“Phoebe? Would you help me carry these things to the shelter?” Andy’s voice was heard.
“I can do that, too, Andy.” Paige interrupted. She still believed that something was off with those two.
“Thanks but look, this is all tools for painting, there’s a lot of paint on them and Pheebs is already covered with it from head to toe.” He laughed. This was true. Even as kids the youngest was always coming home with the dirtiest clothes and now was no different. Let Phoebe near paint or mud or whatever there was on earth you could get dirty with, there was a 100% guarantee that she would get the stuff on herself within 10 minutes. She really looked cute though with paint on her clothes, a bit on her cheeks and even a little on her nose.
“Alright then.” Paige accepted his words. She had to chuckle at the sight of her little sister. It reminded her so much of when they were kids and had to help Grams paint the walls. She had spend hours on getting the white paint out of Phoebe’s hair. Andy walked in front of Phoebe and led her to the shelter.
“Put everything in here.” He instructed as he switched on the little light. Phoebe stepped into it and lay down the buckets of paint and some brushes. But then suddenly she felt them. Strong arms that pushed her against the wooden wall. She heard the door being locked.
“A..Andy what…” Phoebe’s scared eyes met his. And evil grin spread across his face as he pushed his palm against her mouth, feeling her fast breaths tickling his fingers. He felt the wetness on them as tears trickled down Phoebe’s cheeks.
“If you scream, I can’t guarantee you that you get out of here the same as you walked in. I’m gonna put my hand down now. No words, understood?” He felt the girl nod quickly and drew his hand away. “Now Phoebe, we have to make some things clear. If you tell anything, and I mean ANYTHING about this or what happened in the park to your sisters, I’ll make sure you’ll regret it. Never forget, I’m a cop. A murder or two I can cover up.” His smile got wider. “And what would poor Prue think, huh? She won’t believe you after Roger. Even if she knows the truth now, the image of you with her ex-fiance is still branded in her mind. She would believe me. She knows me her whole life, too. And if she already trusted Roger, who she barely knew, over you, you don’t actually believe she would trust you more than me, right? And you don’t want Prue to think you made moves on me, you don’t want her to be hurt, do you?” His voice was filled with joy as he saw Phoebe nod again.
“Good girl.” With that, he pressed his lips roughly on those of the youngest and slipped his hands under her shirt, feeling the soft skin. Phoebe felt his cold hand running up her belly, then landing on her breasts. She let out a silent cry as he massaged them with force. She felt his lips sucking on her neck now. And as fast as it had started, it stopped again.
“Let’s leave it for today. Wouldn’t want your sisters to get suspicious now, right?” He finished with a laugh. “And you, stop crying now.” He commanded but it was no use. She couldn’t stop the tears from running down her cheeks. Never in her life had she felt this scared and helpless. She heard Andy let out an overly dramatic sigh.
“Now I gotta find some excuse why you’re crying. You don’t make this easy for me, little one.” He said as he pulled Phoebe by the arm, placed her hand on the doorframe and slammed the wooden door against her fingers, squeezing them. Not too hard though, he didn’t want her fingers to break but hard enough so that it really hurt and made her cry if she wasn’t doing that already. Phoebe let out a cry of pain and clutched her left hand tight to her.
“I had no choice, Pheebs. Sorry.” He smiled and guided her to his house again, plastering himself a look of concern on the face as he stepped closer to where the sisters were.
-----
“Andy? Phoebe! What happened?” Prue asked, concerned as she saw her boyfriend and her little sister entering the house again. What shocked her was the tears streaming down Phoebe’s cheeks and seeing her clutching her hand, she assumed that something must have happened.
“She squeezed her fingers really hard, Prue. I don’t think anything’s broken, though.” Andy said with a worried expression.
“Aww baby what were you doing?” Prue pulled Phoebe on her lap. Phoebe could feel Andy’s evil eyes on her, telling her to keep her mouth shut. She just cried silently into the crook of Prue’s neck. Prue didn’t know what had happened. Well, how could she? So she couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as she saw her baby sister crying on her lap. This reminded her so much of when they were kids and Phoebe would run to her with some kind of cut or bruise, crying. “Hey sweetie, it’s ok. The pain’s gonna go away soon.” She said smiling as she took Phoebe’s left hand and looked at her fingers. “Look, it doesn’t look that bad, you’ll be fine, honey.” Prue said as she gently kissed her little sister’s injured fingers. After fixing Phoebe’s hand, the sisters headed home again. Prue didn’t know that this time she couldn’t just kiss away her pain like when they were younger. Phoebe’s wound was too deep in her heart to reach. And nobody knew, except for Andy and maybe even Phoebe herself, that this was just a scratch, that the gash was still to come…
Two days passed and Phoebe didn’t lose a word about what had happened at Andy’s. He was totally right. He was a cop, he had the power to cover up any case he wanted. But Phoebe’s mouth stayed shut also because she couldn’t truly believe it yet. Everything was so far away from reality, she couldn’t believe he had actually hurt her, even threatened to kill her sisters. What about the years they had all spent together? Did they mean nothing to him? Besides, his words were probably true as he said that nobody would believe her. That was one of her biggest fears. What if her sisters didn’t believe her and accused her instead? She didn’t want to lose them. She didn’t want the Roger incident to repeat itself.
Maybe it was because of all the worrying and being scared nonstop that she had fallen sick. It was just a little cold but her sisters insisted on keeping her in bed. Inside, Phoebe didn’t object. She would have stayed in bed anyway, she thought. So this was even a good cover up for her shutting herself in her room. She heard her door creaked open.
“Hey baby. How are you feeling?” Piper sat down on the bed next to Phoebe.
“Okay I guess.” This was a total lie. Maybe physically she was okay but emotionally, certainly not.
“No you’re not. Look, you still feel a little warm.” Piper answered softly as she put her palm on Phoebe’s forehead. “Phoebe. Paige, Prue and I have to go to Quake and help them with some setting up since there’ll be important guests. And as a former co-worker there I couldn’t say no when Mark asked me. You ok with that?” She asked as she stroked Phoebe’s soft hair.
“Sure Piper. Shoudn’t I go, too though?” Phoebe looked into her sisters brown eyes.
“Are you crazy Pheebs? We don’t want to get seriously sick now, do we, young lady? You stay here, in bed. Don’t worry, Andy’s here anyway, he can watch you.”
“Wh..what?” Phoebe’s eyes got wide and her heart nearly stopped beating. What did Piper just say?
“I said Andy can take care of you. It won’t be long, we’re gone for an hour maybe two. No more. He’s already downstairs. Oh I kinda feel bad now, he was here to see Prue and now not only do I take away his girlfriend, he has to watch my sick baby girl as well.” Piper said laughing as she ran the back of her hand over Phoebe’s slightly warmer cheek.
“No.” Was the only thing she heard as a response.
“What?” Piper looked down at her, smiling but a little confused.
“No, don’t leave me here. Piper I’m fine, I don’t need anyone to watch over me. I can be on my own if it’s so important for you that I stay here.” Phoebe said, the shaking in her voice not noticed by her big sister.
“Pheebs, Andy’s here mainly because of Prue. And since we’re gone for just a short time she said he can wait here. It’s not like I called him to watch over you. Anyway, we have to go now. Be good, ok?” She kissed her baby sister quickly on the forehead and stood up to walk out. But a hand grabbing her wrist stopped her. As she looked down, her eyes met Phoebe’s, now she did notice the pleading in them, it looked like the scared eyes of a little girl.
“Stay. Please.” Phoebe’s voice was barely audible. To Phoebe’s surprise, Piper started to smile widely as she approached her again and drew her into a hug.
“Aww baby we’re only gone for an hour, I promise. I know you hate it when we leave you when you’re not feeling well, but we really have to go, I’m sorry. Look, I’ll cook you something nice when I come back, ok? Now get some sleep.” With that, she kissed her sister again before standing up and leaving the room, giving Phoebe no chance to say any more.
She felt the colour drained from her face. Now she really felt sick. It was true, she would be left in the house with Andy. Alone. Her heart stopped as she heard the front door slammed shut and a car drove away. She looked down to her shaking hands as she heard steps, fast steps coming up the stairs. How much would she give away right now only to be Paige. Only to be able to just orb out right now. Her body jerked when the door opened. There he was. Grinning widely, like a little boy who just found his new toy to play with. But without the innocence. She cursed her passive power right then.
“There you are my little girl. Are you sick today? Aww, big brother’s gonna make it all better, you’ll see.” He approached slowly, the evil smile never leaving his face.
“Please Andy, please just leave me alone.” Phoebe had tears trickling down her cheeks, her voice was shaking, as was her whole body.
“Huh? Are you cold, baby? Don’t worry, I’ll warm you up…” He finished with laughter as he stepped on the bed. Phoebe tried to squirm away but it was no use.
“Ah ah ah. Didn’t you hear what your sister said? Come on, what did she say?”
“Andy, please…” Phoebe managed out.
“Wroooong.” With that, he grabbed her two wrists with his big hand and held them tight above her head, making her winced in pain as he squeezed the bandaged hand, the injury still fresh from two days ago.
“Second chance. What did she say?” His voice was full of joy. Phoebe couldn’t say anything as she cried too hard. “No answer? Wrong answer!” He laughed again. This time he ripped her pants down roughly along with her underwear.
-----
Part 4:
“No…no don’t do this, Andy…” Phoebe tried again although she knew it was no use.
“You know what? You’re a crappy guesser, she said you gotta stay in bed!” He then pressed his lips on hers again, planting rough kisses on them and further down on her neck. He ripped her PJ shirt open and slowly went further down with his wet lips until he could taste her nipples. He was totally oblivious to Phoebe’s cries, he knew she wouldn’t scream, she knew what would happen if she did. Dispite her own crying and Andy’s loud breaths, Phoebe could clearly hear the clicking sound of metal, the sound of his hands unbuckling his belt. She heard the zipper being pulled down and Andy’s breathing getting hotter and faster on her breasts.
“Now be a good girl and stay quiet.” He said, this time with a serious face, his voice deep and hoarse. She was totally helpless. There was absolutely nothing she could do. Nothing. There was this creaking sound of her bed she somehow kept in mind as she felt the sharp pain. The pain when he thrust himself into her. She bit hard on her lower lip as not to let the scream escape her mouth. He did it again and again. Each time entering harder and faster. The pain was unbearable as he slowed down, panting, a satisfied smile on his face, his cheeks flushed, beads of sweat running down from his forehead along his cheeks to his neck. He got off of her again, buckling up his belt again as he put his clothes back on.
Phoebe felt the hot tears on her cheek. He had done it. Her nightmare had come true. She felt sick to her stomach as she still felt the pain in her lower body. But the worst pain was the pain inside, she felt the scratch on her heart slowly widening, turning into a nasty gash.
“Your sisters should be back soon. You know what happens if your mouth can’t stay shut. Right my little baby girl?” He asked, an eerie sweetness in his voice. Phoebe just nodded.
“I’ll be downstairs if you need me.” He then started laughing and walked down the stairs.
Phoebe was left on the bed, wanting so badly to break down right there, to pass out so that she wouldn’t feel the pain anymore. But she knew she couldn’t afford to do it. She felt so dirty, so disgusted of her own body, of the fact that she had let this happen to her. She wanted to take a shower forever, at least try to wash away the dirty feeling she knew she would never get rid of. But there was nothing she could do. Her sisters would be back soon, she had to hurry. So she moved quickly, changing her PJs, checking that there was no blood on the bed sheets and lying down again. Would she ever be able to sleep peacefully on this bed again? On her own bed? Would she ever be able to call for help, ever get out of this hell again? She didn’t know.
-----
The front door closed again.
“Oh man, that was probably the hardest work I’ve ever done since a long long time ago…” Paige’s voice rang out in the hallway.
“Yeah because you can’t use magic there. I mean that’s practically your job at magic school. No wonder you’re not used to this kind of world.” Prue answered but she massaged her shoulder in slight pain as well.
“Well, apparently you’re exhausted, too, little sis. And in pain.”
“Oh guys, stop complaining, what do you think I had to do the past few years?” Piper said, turning to her sisters and walking back into the living room.
“Hey, you’re back.” A deep voice said.
“Oh, Andy. For a second I forgot you’re waiting for me.” Prue laughed as she sat next to him and greeted him with a kiss.
“Oh I’m hurt, Prue. How can you forget me?” Andy playfully put his hand on his chest.
“Aww I’m so sorry. Let me make it up to you, ok?” Prue said sweetly and started to kiss him.
“Ah ah, stop it you two. We’re in here, too. Get out.” Piper said laughing.
“Fine. Come on, Andy, let’s get out of this dusty house.” Prue pulled him by the hand, grinning at Piper.
“Dusty?! Hey, I just cleaned up like two days ago! And FYI you live in that DUSTY house! Now get!!” Piper threw a box of tissues after the two lovers but not without laughing.
“So did Phoebe cause you trouble?” Prue asked as they were walking down the manor steps.
“Not at all. She was being a good girl. Stayed in bed mostly.” He smiled. Prue didn’t know the real meaning of these words.
“Is this house dusty, Paige?” Piper was still not over Prue’s comment.
“Well…um…a little?” Paige replied with a sheepish smile.
“Paige! I can’t believe it!” Piper threw her hands in the air.
“Just kidding, Pipe! This house can’t be any cleaner. Besides, I helped you clean it, right? How can it be still dirty then?” Paige laughed as she put an arm over Piper’s shoulders and walked into the kitchen, receiving a playful slap on her arm.
“Oops, now I forgot to ask Andy about Pheebs.” Piper stated.
“Want me to go check on her or do you want to?”
“You go. I’ll make some soup in the meantime.” Piper smiled and started to pull out a pot from the cupboard. “Actually, she could be a bit sulky cause I left her this morning although she was like practically begging me to stay.”
“Ok Pipe, I’ll be prepared.” With that, she walked up the steps and to the ever so familiar direction down the hallway. Paige knocked on the wooden door but as she heard nothing, she slowly pushed it open and silently walked in. She had to smile at the sight. Her baby sister was fast asleep on the bed, the covers pulled up to her nose. All the blankets seemed to swallow the small frame. Phoebe has always looked small but lying there sick in bed made her look even smaller and way more vulnerable. The smile still plastered on her face, Paige made her way to the bed and sat down next to Phoebe. It was then she noticed it and her smile instantly faded. It looked like her baby sister had cried herself to sleep; her face was tear-stained and pale.
“Oh baby.” Paige gently wiped away the remainig tears as she stroked Phoebe’s cheek. Then she saw her stir.
Phoebe was disorientated first as she woke up to a warm touch on her cheek. She then saw her oldest sister sitting next to her on the bed, looking somewhat sympathetically at her. She pushed herself up to a sitting position.
“Hey, sweetie. How are you feeling?” Paige asked softly. Phoebe wanted to answer but somehow she couldn’t find her voice. Suddenly she remembered. Her sisters leaving her alone with her so called brother. The monster coming up to her room and making her nightmare come true, hurting her in the worst way a man could hurt a woman. Tears welled up in her eyes instantly.
“Hey, hey what’s wrong baby? You’ve been crying earlier, too, right? What is it?” Paige asked as she put a warm hand on Phoebe’s cheek again. But her little sister didn’t say anything, the tears just trickled down, wetting her hand. She then remembered what Piper had said. “Aww sweetie, are you really crying because we left you? Then it’s ok now, we’re here.” In a way Paige was right, she did cry because they left her. Because they left her with Andy. Phoebe felt Paige’s arms pulling her into a hug. She had no strength to fight anything, so she just let herself fall into her sister’s arms. She felt her hands stroke her back but this time it didn’t calm her down. She feared that nothing could do that anymore.
“You know we would never leave you. Right my little baby girl?” Phoebe heard Paige’s sweet voice but the last part of what she said made something inside her click. It was like Andy’s voice was doubled with Paige’s. Suddenly she felt sick to her stomach. Really sick.
Paige suddenly felt Phoebe pushing herself away from her, untangling herself from the tight embrace. She saw Phoebe covering her mouth before she ran out of her room.
“Phoebe!” Paige followed her and saw that the bathroom was occupied. “Pheebs you ok? Phoebe? I’m coming in now.” With that, she opened the door to the bathroom. Phoebe was slumped on the cold floor next to the toilet, perspiration on her forehead making her look even sicker than she already did with her pale face.
“Oh God Phoebe.” Paige rushed to her sister’s side. “Come on, let’s get you to bed again, ok?” She helped Phoebe up and guided her to her room. “Honey why didn’t you tell us that you were feeling this bad? I would of stayed here with you. I thought you just had a cold or something.” She talked while she tucked her sister in who hadn’t said a word yet. “Phoebe? Hey, say something. Are you ok?”
“No I’m not!! Can’t you see that!?” Phoebe shouted with tears in her eyes. She just couldn’t believe yet that something like that happened to her. And she couldn’t help but feel the hint of anger building up inside her, anger towards her sisters for leaving her alone with him, for not realizing what he was doing to her. Although she knew that there was no way they could realize it if not even she herself could believe it until he made himself more clear. She looked at Paige’s surprised face again. “I’m sorry, Paige…But please just…leave me alone…please.” She said, her voice weak and barely audible.
“Ok Phoebe. Just call if you need us, alright?” Paige’s voice was soft as she kissed Phoebe on the forehead and quietly left the room.
Piper saw Paige coming down the stairs but there was something different in her features. Her sister seemed to be more concerned than usual and she seemed somewhat shocked.
“Paige? You ok? Is Phoebe ok?” Piper immediately got concerned, too.
“She’s asleep again. I think.” Paige answered as she sat down on the sofa.
“What do you mean, you think?” Piper sat down next to Paige.
“Well, she kinda threw me out of the room.”
“She what?!”
“Not like you think, Pipe.” Paige let out a small laugh, “it’s just that…Look, I think something’s wrong with her.”
“Duh, she might have a cold?” Piper said sarcastically.
“No, not like that. I mean something’s off, I can’t put my finger on it but something else is bothering her. And concerning her health, I don’t think it’s just a cold she has. She just threw up in the bathroom.”
“What?! Then we should take her to a doctor or something. And what do you mean with ‘something else’?” Worry was etched all over Piper’s face.
“Well, as I said, I can’t point it out but…she’s been crying before I checked on her. And she started to cry when I woke her up. Then she told me to leave her alone. So I walked out.” Paige explained with concern and confusion in her voice. She was surprised to see Piper’s face relaxed with relief.
“Paige. I told you she’d be sulking. You know how she gets when she’s sick or hurt. And if she’s actually feeling worse than we first thought, it’s normal that she’s cranky. Oh man, I feel so bad now. I wouldn’t have left her if I knew she was feeling so bad.”
“Well she should have told us. But do you really think that’s it? I mean would she actually cry because we left her for barely an hour? And it wasn’t like she was cranky, more like…I don’t know, she looked so lost…” Paige said, looking into the same brown eyes of her little sister.
“Paige this is Phoebe we’re talking about. She’s always been a little dramatic in her reactions. Look, we’ll apologize to her and promise her to go watch a movie together or something. And when she feels better everything’s gonna be back to normal again. You’ll see.”
“Ok then. But let’s keep an eye on her, ok?”
“When did we ever stop doing that?” Piper laughed.
“True.” Paige laughed back, for now convinced by Piper. Usually Piper would have been right. She had played Phoebe’s paramedic all the time when she was hurt, she was the one who checked on her the most when she was sick, bringing her food or medicine, or just to give her some company. It was her who consoled her as she was the one who got to hear all the whinings and complainings as kids. So therefore she knew how to deal with a sick Phoebe Halliwell. She had no idea that this Phoebe wasn’t sick, she had no idea that she had been raped.
A week passed and the youngest was physically healthy again. The sisters were all working a lot and Phoebe seemed to drown in her psychology books for college. She was also helping Piper out at P3, the new club her older sister owned now which always seemed to be crowded, even in the middle of the week. She was basically studying and working like a possessed, as if it would help her forgetting about what had happened. For all her sisters were really busy, nobody really had the time to notice the change in their youngest sibling, the change in her deep brown eyes as the sparkle and energy vanished in them.
It was now Saturday evening and the exhausted sisters slumped down on the couch.
-----
Part 5:
“Gosh I’m tired.” Piper said, leaning her head on the back of the couch.
“Yep, we definitely need some time to relax. Maybe watch a movie or something, or go to a club, I mean where we don’t have to work.” Prue said.
“That’s quite a good idea, Prue. Maybe we can do it now, I mean tomorrow’s Sunday, we can sleep as long as we want to. And I really need to do something that has nothing with work.” Paige said with a sigh.
“Well to be honest I can’t. I got this huge interview tomorrow so I have to prepare myself.”
“Aww Prue you can’t be serious! It’s Sunday tomorrow. You’re gonna work yourself to death if you go on like this.” Piper threw her hands in the air.
“And you’re not Pipe? I mean, where are you going to be tonight?” Prue asked.
“Hello Prue it’s Saturday, weekend? P3’s gonna be twice as crowded as usually.” Piper laughed sarcastically.
“Ha! See, you’re going to work.” Prue smiled triumphantly.
“Ohh I can’t believe this… Pheebs? What about you? Will you join me? We can call it a youngest and oldest night.” Paige looked over to her baby sister.
“Um…I don’t know Paige…I’m kinda tired and..” Phoebe didn’t want to go out. She didn’t want to do anything anymore. The only time she could think of something else than her older sister’s boyfriend was when she was at work or had her nose in the books for school.
“Sweetie that’s exactly why I’m asking this. You’ve been working like 24/7 this week. You really need to do something else. Besides, how much time have we spent together lately? I think you can even count the minutes we’ve been in one room together.” Paige said seriously. Phoebe hesitated but she then thought about it. Maybe, just maybe there would be some kind of occasion when she could tell her sister about it. She knew Andy would hurt them if he knew she had opened her mouth. But what if he didn’t get to know about it? What if she could just get it off of her chest? And Paige would be the right sister to talk to. Not that she couldn’t talk to Prue or Piper, she loved them to bits and her sisters were all equally important to her and she trusted them equally, more than anybody, sometimes more than herself, but this time it was different. With this, she knew she could only go to Paige. Her oldest sister was calmer, way calmer than her other siblings. She would probably freak out as well on hearing what happened to her but she didn’t have Piper’s tendency towards panicking or Prue’s temper. Speaking of Prue, this time it was an exception. Phoebe knew for sure that Prue wouldn’t believe her. So this time she would be the last person on earth to talk to. Maybe this time she could count on Paige’s natural calmness that would stop her from passing it to anyone else.
“Ok Paige. I’ll get ready then.” She replied quietly and got up.
“Good. I promise, you’ll feel better after this.” Paige said with a smile.
‘Maybe…If I can manage to do this, I will…’ Phoebe thought to herself as she returned a small smile to her sister.
It was quite crowded as the movie started. Phoebe hadn’t really said much. She was still looking frantically for a way to open up. Paige had already noticed that her baby sister was much quieter than usual. But she shrugged it off, blaming the tiredness for it.
They sat there for half an hour now, not saying anything. Well, one could think it was because they were watching the movie but one of them wasn’t. Phoebe never paid attention to what was on the screen. She concentrated on how she could at least find a way to breathe in this pool of grief and pain. Her head started to hurt from thinking. She slowly stood up.
“I’ll be back in a second. Just need the bathroom.” She whispered and walked away.
“Where you going?” A voice whispered.
“Bathroom. Be back in a second.” He answered quietly. Today his girlfriend didn’t have time though he had off, which was pretty rare. So he went out with his buddies to the movies.
He made his way out of the dark hall and squinted his eyes as the light made contact with them. Walking further down the hallway with the crimson carpet, he spotted the washrooms. But what caught his eye next pulled the corners of his mouth up in a wide grin.
“Seems like I can still get my fun today…” He muttered and looked around himself. Nobody was there. His grin got wider if that was possible as he closed the distance to the two bathrooms. The door creaked open. This wasn’t the first time he had entered the Ladies’ washrooms. Just this time it wasn’t his girlfriend waiting in there. It was her sister.
Phoebe stepped into the bathroom and saw nobody there. She walked over to the sink and started to run the water. Spilling some of it on her hand, she wet her face, trying to wash away her tiredness. She had her hands on her face, the water in her eyes and on her skin, cooling down everything when she heard the sound of the door creak open again. She didn’t even think further about it as she decided to dry her face. She turned off the faucet as the sound of streaming water stopped. She looked up, right into the mirror in front of her…..and jerked. In the mirror where she was supposed to see only herself, another figure was suddenly standing next to her, his unmistakeble evil grin wide across his face. She turned around but felt his hands roughly grabbing her upper arms.
“A…Andy what the…”
“Hello, what a coincidence…this is exactly what I was looking for after this exhausting week. You know, a cop has lots of work to do.” He whispered as he pulled her into one of the cabins with force and locked it. “Saving the innocents…” He roughly kissed her on the lips, “hunting the evil guys…” he slipped his hand under her shirt and on her bra, “hunting criminals….” He licked her neck, “rapists….” A silent chuckle escaped him as he said the last word. It was then he heard the door to the bathroom open again. Quickly, he pressed his palm on her mouth, his look telling her to stay quiet or he couldn’t guarantee what would happen to her and the innocent woman out there.
Phoebe’s breaths were fast and her heart felt like it would explode any second, she even thought that maybe the woman would hear her heartbeat. But then a whimper escaped her and she suddenly felt Andy’s hand squeezing her mouth even tighter, causing her to let out a little cry of pain.
“Um, are you ok in there?” She heard a woman’s voice from the other side of the door. Andy’s mouth was right next to her ear as he whispered.
“You know what to do.” He then let go of her mouth.
“Hey, are you ok? Do you want me to call anyone?” The woman asked again, this time knocking on the door.
“No no. I’m fine, thanks.” She replied in a shaky voice.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, thank you though.” She replied again, this time with a bit more confidence.
“Ok then.” The lady answered and opened the door to another cabin. As soon as the lock was heard, Andy unlocked and opened the door.
“Next time you won’t be this lucky, Pheebs.” He whispered into her ear as he ran out.
Phoebe could do nothing else but just stand there, her hands shaking, her knees nearly giving way. She composed herself the best she could and walked over to the sink. She frantically rinsed her mouth and put some water on her neck where he had had his tongue on her, not even caring that her shirt was getting wet on the neck. Wiping away the beads of water with her hand, Phoebe walked back to the hall, still feeling the heart beating so hard that it nearly hurt, still feeling the weakness of her knees.
Paige was laughing along with all the others as the comical scene was displayed on the screen. She then felt someone approached her seat. She knew who it was but looked up anyway. And it was exactly the person she had expected, but as she looked into her eyes she knew something was different, something was wrong.
“Phoebe?” She said quietly but then felt her little sister’s had grabbed hers.
“Paige…please, can we go home…or just somewhere else…?” Even though Phoebe was whispering, Paige could hear the shaking of the voice.
“Pheebs what’s wrong? Are you ok?” She asked concerned but received no answer but only the frantic tugging on her wrist. With force, Phoebe pulled Paige with her, outside the hall, outside the movie theater and on the rather empty street.
“Whoa Pheebs, hold on, what’s this all about?” Paige asked but Phoebe didn’t stop pulling her. “Hey, would you just stop for a second?” Paige tried to reach her sister’s ears but it was no use. Phoebe even started running slightly and she could do nothing more than follow her, even if her grip wasn’t this tight on her wrist. Finally slowing down, Paige saw that they had come into a small park.
“Ok Phoebe. Care to tell me what’s wrong now?” This time she stepped in front of her sister and looked directly at her face. In the dim light that came from the small streetlights, she could see something glistening and as she looked closer, she saw that Phoebe was crying. “Honey what is it?” She asked worriedly and in a gentle voice.
“P..P..Paige..” Phoebe’s chest was heaving, the lump in her throat was still there. She wanted to say something but it didn’t really work.
“Hey, it’s okay. Come on.” She put an arm over her sister’s shoulder and walked over to a bench a few feet away from them. Sitting down, she cupped Phoebe’s face in her hands. “Phoebe what’s wrong? What happened? Why are you crying?” She asked but received no answer as the cries turned into huge sobs. “Oh baby.” Paige then pulled Phoebe onto her lap and started rocking her. Phoebe knew she wouldn’t tell her sister. She realized that she couldn’t. Her mouth wouldn’t obey her, her mouth that was so roughly kissed by him, her mouth that was told to stay shut. But what started to come out in form of tears couldn’t be stopped anymore. Phoebe just pushed her face into the crook of her big sister’s neck as the pain-filled sobs continued.
“Sweetie it’s alright, you’re alright. Sshhh….come on, calm down…it’s ok honey..” Paige whispered, running her hand up and down Phoebe’s back. She continued this for nearly ten minutes until Phoebe’s cries quieted down a little more.
“Phoebe what’s wrong? Can you tell me now?” Paige asked gently as she wiped away another tear that made it’s way down her sister’s cheek.
“I…Paige I can’t…” Phoebe looked down.
“Of course you can. Look, it’s me. Your big sister. You can tell me anything.” Paige smiled reassuringly.
“No Paige…not this time…” Her voice was shaking again.
“Phoebe whatever it is, you have to tell me.” Paige said a bit more firmly now.
“Nooo I can’t!” Phoebe started to lose control again as new sobs escaped.
“Okay, okay! It’s okay baby, then don’t….then you don’t have to…” Paige said as she started to rock the girl again. She certainly didn’t want to push her little sister. She would wait until she could truly open up. After a few minutes, everything was quiet and Paige only felt Phoebe’s arms around her neck, holding on to her for dear life. She looked down at the girl’s face.
“You ok?” She asked in a low voice. Seeing Phoebe nod, she continued. “Do you want to get up? Go home maybe? We can sit here for a bit more, too, if you want.”
“Can we…can we stay here then? A little more…?” Phoebe sounded like a six year-old girl.
“Sure sweetie.” Paige tightened her arms around her sister and shifted her weight a bit to make it more comfortable.
“Paige..? Please don’t tell Prue or Piper about tonight, ok?” Phoebe looked up into her oldest sister’s deep hazel eyes. She first saw the frown but then she saw the smile.
“Ok love. If you want it like that.” She stroked Phoebe’s cheek with the back of her hand. “But tell me one thing. Will you be able to tell me what’s bothering you sometime? You know I’m always here for you, and so are Prue and Piper. You think you can talk about it sometime?” Her voice was soft but had a hidden sadness in it. Phoebe let out a small sigh.
“I don’t know Paige…I really don’t know.”
-----
Part 6:
“We’re home!” The voice of the oldest sister rang out in the manor.
“Hey you two. Wow you’re late.” A tired looking Prue greeted them in the hallway.
“Yeah it took us a bit longer cause…” Paige then felt Phoebe squeeze her hand a little harder than before. She gave her a quick ‘don’t worry’ smile and squeezed her hand back lightly. “….Because we went for a long walk after the movie. It’s so beautiful outside, Prue. You should do that, too. You look so tired, it would refresh you a bit.” She smiled
“Can’t do that. Hard working woman here. Seriously, I have no time, well not now anyway.” Prue sighed. But then she saw that the youngest was still holding on to Paige’s hand and didn’t get her eyes off the floor. “Hey Pheebs. You alright?”
Phoebe heard her name being called and looked up. She was relieved that her tears for today seemed to be cried out because facing Prue like this only reminded her of how hard it was to get out of this hell. She managed a small smile. “Yeah. I’m…I’m just tired. I think I’ll go to bed now. Night you two.” With that, she slowly walked up the stairs and closed the door to her room.
Prue looked after her sister until she couldn’t see her anymore. “She ok?” She asked, looking back at Paige.
“Um, yeah. She just…she got a little scared of the movie, you know?” Paige lied. They didn’t even watch a scary one. But for now she would keep her promise. Even if it worried her to bits that Phoebe couldn’t open up to her. This rarely occurred and she knew that there was something really big troubling her sister.
“Oh man, I told her to stay out of those movies.” Prue sighed shaking her head.
“Well I liked it.” Paige let out a laugh, “and I’m sure a nice movie would be good for you, too. Come on, I got us one.” Paige held out the dvd case and led Prue into the living room, roughly placing her arm over her little sister’s shoulder. For now she would just have to wait. She was quite sure that Phoebe would open up sometime. It just needed its time.
And the time passed. It was already two weeks ago that Phoebe dragged Paige into the Park and until now she didn’t say a word to her sisters. Maybe this was even it. She hadn’t seen Andy even once since the movies. Maybe she didn’t even have to say anything for he would leave her alone now.
“You don’t seriously believe that, do you?” Phoebe’s head jerked up as she heard Prue’s voice responding to her thoughts. But then she saw Piper coming into the conservatory right behind her.
“Why? He really did sound pretty sick. And I’m certainly not letting a sick person work in my club. Besides, he’s my dearest co-worker. What kind of a boss would it make me if I forced him to come?” Piper said following Prue and finally settling down next to Phoebe.
“Well it’s your decision but I think he’s just putting up a show to escape from work on such a sunny nice day.” Prue said, sitting across from her little sisters. “And now you have to do the preparations for tonight all by yourself.”
“No. I got three sisters who are very talented in cleaning and decorating a club like P3. Right?” Piper grinned but also noticed that her little sister was unusually quiet again. Before she could say any more, she heard Prue speak.
“Okay but don’t count me in. I have to get those pictures developped unless I wanna get fired so. Gotta stay home.” She grinned back at her sister. Piper grunted but then looked at Phoebe who seemed to be deep in thoughts, somewhat oblivious to her surroundings.
“Pheebs? You’ll help me out today, won’t you?” No reaction. “Pheebs?” Again, no reaction. Piper then waved her hand in front of her little sis. “Phoebe.” It was then she got her attention.
“Wh…what?” Phoebe looked into the brown eyes of her sister, the concern evident in them.
“I was just gonna ask you if you could help me out at P3 today.” Piper said.
“Oh…sure Piper. When exactly?”
“Actually we have to go now, I called Paige already but……Honey, what’s the matter with you the last days, hmm?” Piper’s voice softened as she brushed a stray lock out of Phoebe’s face.
“Yeah you’re so quiet. And everytime I see you you’re just staring out of the window.” Prue added, concern in her voice, too.
“Oh nothing guys. Really, I’m just a bit tired these days. Maybe it’s the hot weather.” Phoebe said quietly.
“Are you sure? You know we’re always here for you, right?”
“Thanks Piper I know. But honestly, I’m ok. You said we have to get going now, right? Then what are you waiting for?” Phoebe answered getting up. She had to fight hard to hide her emotions that had to be fought everytime she was asked if she was ok. And it was getting harder and harder to resist. Not opening up to someone who doesn’t ask was one thing. Pushing away the chance of talking was another. And it was definitely harder.
“Yeah you’re right. We’ve to go.” Piper glanced at the clock and stood up as well. “See you later, Prue.”
“Yup. Have fun you guys.” Prue kissed them goodbye and sat down again. Hearing the front door close, she let out a sigh. She knew there had to be something wrong with her sister, and it was certainly not the heat outside. It was then she heard the phone ring. She pushed herself up of the comfy chair and went to pick it up.
“Hello?”
“Prue? Hi sweetie.” She heard a deep voice on the other end and smiled.
“Hey Andy. What’s up?” He always managed to lighten her mood.
“Oh I just wanted to ask my girlfriend if she wanted to go out with me today.”
“Aww Andy I would love to, really but today’s not the best day. I gotta finish my work here.”
“Oh. Okay then.” His voice sounded disappointed. “Tomorrow maybe?”
“Tomorrow’s perfect. See you then.” Prue kissed into the phone and heard him kissing back.
“Oh actually, are your sisters home right now?”
“No. Piper and Phoebe just left for P3 and Paige is gonna join them later.” She couldn’t possibly say that she was going to orb to them from magic school.
“P3. I see.” Prue couldn’t see his evil grin on the phone.
“Yeah. Why?” She frowned.
“Oh just asking. Anyway, tomorrow then, right? Bye, love you.”
“Love you, too.” She then hung up. ‘Weird question.’ She thought but then shrugged her shoulders and made her way to the darkroom.
“This is gonna be fun…” He smiled. Taking his cell with him, he walked to the car and drove off. His car left for the direction of the most popular club in this area.
“Ok you’ll take the floor, you manage the chairs and tables and I’ll get the drinks ready. Ok?” Piper instructed to the oldest and youngest.
“Yes Maam.” Paige saluted playfully and took the mop. “Come on Pheebs.” She laid an arm over her youngest sister’s shoulder and went to the corner where they could start cleaning. She knew that even if Phoebe couldn’t talk about it, she still needed the affection and she knew it made her feel better, even if it was just for the slightest bit.
He stood in front of the club. A grin spread across his face as he walked aroud it to the back. He approached the garbage cans and took out the cell of his pocket.
Phoebe and Paige were still cleaning the floor when they heard a ringing from one of the purses.
“I think it’s yours sweets.” Paige looked at Phoebe. Phoebe frowned but went over to the alcove where their stuff was. She picked it up and saw a number she couldn’t remember although it seemed to be familiar.
“Hello?”
“Hey little one. Still not used to my new number, hey?” On hearing the voice, she could now remember the number. A number she wished she had never known. A wave of nausea hit her and she had to clench her teeth to hold down whatever was in her stomach.
Paige watched as her little sister run to the alcove and pick up her cell. She was too far away to see the colour drain from her face. But the change of her expression caught her attention.
“L…Leave me alone, Andy.” Phoebe’s voice was a little more than a whisper.
“Ah ah ah. Not so rude, sweetheart. I want you to come out to the back right now. Alone. You don’t want me to hurt Prue, do you?” He laughed.
“Andy leave her alone.” This time her voice had more of the usual steadiness in it.
“If you come out right now she’ll be just fine. Move your ass, Phoebe!!” He suddenly shouted making Phoebe jump.
“Hey, you ok? Who’s that?” Paige’s voice was heard from behind. She quickly hung up and turned around with a smile.
“Oh just a friend of mine. She wanted to know if I have some time right now but as you see I don’t so…I’ll get the trash out, ok?” She then quickly took the trash bag and before the oldest could say anything, Phoebe was on her way to the back door, leaving behind a slightly confused Paige.
He saw her coming out of the back door with a trash bag in her hand.
“Hi Pheebs.” He grinned as he roughly pulled her towards him, the trash bag dropping to the ground.
“Not the perfect setting here but still, the show itself is really nice.” He said as he pushed her into a darker corner.
“Andy…stop…” Tears were already trickling down Phoebe’s face as she knew what was about to come.
“Aww don’t cry baby. You’ll have your fun soon.” He then opened his pants but didn’t pull them down completely to be ready to run away as soon as somebody would come. He knew he had to be quick but he also knew that this time it wouldn’t be much of a struggle as it was last time.
Phoebe did nothing except for crying as he quickly opened her pants and ripped them down. She felt his rough hands on her body again as he removed her shirt. This time there were no lips, no disgusting kisses. She didn’t know if this was better or worse as she suddenly felt the pain again. Andy felt the heat in his body as he pushed himself into the girl. This was definitely better than Prue. He kept his hands pressed against her backside as his nails dug into the flesh. And this went on and on. He felt himself coming as he heard the silent cries of the other body.
It was all too quick to register as he was roughly pulled away and felt the pain on his left cheek.
“GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY SISTER YOU BASTARD!!!”
Phoebe didn’t even know what was happening until she felt the dirty, cold hands replaced by warm, gentle, familiar arms. She looked up into the brown eyes of her sister.
Paige sighed and looked towards the back door for the upteenth time.
“What’s wrong, Paige? Where’s Phoebe?” She heard a voice from behind her.
“One answer for two questions. Phoebe’s out that back door and that’s like more than 5 minutes ago. You don’t take more than 5 minutes to take out the trash, do you?” She looked at her little sister.
“Umm, no. But…” Piper was already cut off.
“And she got this weird phone call. I saw her face, her eyes, Piper. Something’s wrong.”
“Well then maybe we should go check on her. At least then we wouldn’t stand here and worry all the time.” Piper suggested, already pulling Paige by the hand.

Part 7:
As they approached the back door, the sisters were shocked to hear what sounded like cries. Their pace changed from quick walking to running and the back door was pushed open widely. What they saw next froze the blood in their veins. Their little sister, their baby they loved more than anything, was pushed against the concrete wall, a figure huddled over her, a figure of a man making their baby cry as he pushed himself against her. They didn’t even notice that the man’s face was known to them as he had the back turned on them. They didn’t register that the back seemed more than familiar, like one of a family member. All they wanted to do was to scream and collapse there and wish that this was all just a horrible nightmare but they knew they couldn’t as their bodies acted on their own.
Paige ran to the two, grabbed the man’s shoulders and as hard as she could.
“GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY SISTER YOU BASTARD!!!” Then, with as much force as her arms could manage to get out of her, she slammed her fist onto his face. Before her knuckles made contact with the flesh, she saw just who was touching her, no, raping her ever so innocent baby sister. She felt the pain in her hand as her fist hit her ‘brother’s’ cheek bone. But it was nothing compared to the pain she felt inside, the pain as her anger nearly caused her head to explode. Before she could bring her other fist to his now disgusting face, he ran off, leaving behind three broken sisters.
Piper saw Paige toring the figure apart from her sister. She knew that he was already taken care of. But the loud shouting coming from the oldest didn’t really make it’s way through her ears as she only saw her baby sister, slumped on the concrete, her face wet from the tears, her eyes full of plain fear. She thought she could see her heart shattering into tiny pieces if it wasn’t already in that state. Her eyes welled up with tears as she ran to the shaking form and gently wrapped her arms around her. Her eyes locked with the same brown ones. It was now she could see that behind the curtain of tears, all the energy and the sparkle were gone, replaced by fear and confusion, but most of all hurt. In the corner of her eye, she caught Paige crouching down in front of Phoebe, wrapping her arms around her. Piper managed to notice the tears in her older sister’s eyes as well as the shock in them. But she didn’t know yet that the shock wasn’t just caused by the fact THAT their sister had been raped, but by the fact WHO had raped her.
Phoebe was too weak and scared to do any more than letting herself be held by who seemed to be her big sisters. They didn’t say a word as tears trickled down their cheeks, their gentle hands now pulling her up into a standing position in order to pull her pants back up.
Paige and Piper knew they had to be strong for their sister now. Wiping away their tears, they quietly put the clothes back on to Phoebe.
“Ok honey…don’t worry, everything will be alright.” Paige’s voice trembled like never before as she slowly put the shirt back on to her sister.
“Yeah Pheebs, you’re going to be ok. It’s all going to be ok.” Piper repeated over and over again as she buttoned up Phoebe’s jeans. “We’re here now baby, nothing’s gonna hurt you anymore.” This time her voice was steadier. As she had her arm around Phoebe’s waist, she felt her little sister slowly getting heavier and saw that all the colour was gone from her face.
“No baby stay with us.” Paige said as she also felt the weight and sensed that Phoebe was about to pass out. “Come on honey, it’s ok. Piper, let’s get her inside.” They then dragged the weak and shaking Phoebe back inside the club.
Everything was in a haze for Phoebe as she let herself be guided by her sisters. She felt the strength drain from her body and the already blurred vision was getting darker as well.
“Come on, hang in there sweetie, stay awake. Paige, she’s gonna pass out any second.” Piper looked at the oldest with panic in her eyes.
“I know, we’ll get her to the alcove and lay her down there.” She answered. The pain and damage caused by the rape was momentarily forgotten as her sister’s welfare was now on the first place of their main concerns. “Hold on babes, just a little more and you can lie down, ok?” They managed to more or less carry Phoebe to the soft sofa and gently sat her down. Phoebe was still crying silently and her body was still trembling.
“Piper would you get her some hot water or something.” Paige asked but never taking her eyes off of the youngest. “It’s ok honey, we got you now. You’re gonna be just fine.” She said in a calming tone, gently guiding Phoebe down on the couch so that she was lying down. ‘So this was what she couldn’t tell me all the time…’ She thought to herself as she slowly felt the anger building up inside. Why hadn’t she noticed anythig? When they were at Andy’s, she saw her scared look in her eyes. Why hadn’t she followed them when they left for the shelter? And the reaction Phoebe showed when they came home from Quake. ‘Oh my God. We left her alone with…Oh god..’ Incredible anger rose in her as she realized just what must have happened then and why Phoebe had been crying. But all the anger was blown away by the soft, weak, shaky voice.
“P…Paige..?” Phoebe managed out finally.
“Yeah baby, I’m here. Ssshhh, everything’s going to be alright.” Paige brushed her palm over Phoebe’s forehead and along her hair, smiling reassuringly.
“He…he…”
“Sshhh it’s fine. I know. And we’ll get him for what he’s done to you. But worry about it later, ok? Right now you need to calm down, you need to rest baby.” Paige then saw Piper coming back with a cup of warm water. She steadied Phoebe on her back as she pushed her into a sitting position. Piper helped her little sister hold on to the cup as it trembled in her hands, nearly spilling the water on them.
“Paige can you orb us home?” Piper asked, her hands still around the cup over Phoebe’s.
“I will, but not right now. Phoebe’s in no condition to orb now. Let’s just wait a few minutes until she’s a little steadier on her knees.” She answered while gently rubbing Phoebe’s back.
“Sweetie we have to get you to a hospital.” Piper said in a soft voice.
“And to the police, too.” Paige added.
“NOO!! He’s gonna kill you!! He’ll hurt Prue!!!” Phoebe screamed suddenly, finally dropping the cup to the floor before Piper could catch it. With a loud noise, it shattered into pieces. “Noooo!!!!” Phoebe then covered her head with her arms.
“Okay, okay, okay!! Then we won’t honey! Shhhh.” Paige quickly pulled Phoebe into her arms again, stroking her hair as she cradled her sister’s head to her chest, the trembling arms still covering it. “We won’t baby……okay….you’re okay…” Her voice was not more than a whisper in the end. She saw Piper’s worried look and silently answered with a ‘we will take her to hospital but she doesn’t have to know it now’ look.
The sisters felt the anger inside again thinking about how long this must have been going on and how he, in Paige’s case how Andy, could threaten their sister like this. As if the rape wasn’t enough already.
He felt the stinging in his left cheek as he ran into a small alley.
“Shit!!! Aaargh dammit!!!” He kicked the wall in his anger. How could this happen? How could he make such a big mistake and risk getting caught by her sisters? But now it was too late. He had to do something. And a first idea came up to his mind. He quickly pulled out the cell and selected the saved number he had called so many times.
Prue was working in the darkroom as she heard the phone ring for the second time today. She ran towards the source of the noise.
“Hello?”
“Prue! Oh God am I glad you’re there!”
“Andy? Hey what’s wrong?” She panicked herself as she heard the fear in her boyfriend’s voice.
“I…I really hate to tell you this…I still can’t believe it myself…” His voice shook.
“Andy you’re scaring me. What the hell is wrong?” She urged on.
“It’s…it’s Phoebe…”
“What?! What about her?! Is she okay, did anything happen to her?!!” Prue shouted into the phone.
“N…no. It’s…she…Prue I don’t know if…”
“Andy!!! What the ... is wrong!!? Just tell me!!! NOW!” She felt her heart beat faster and faster.
“She…she came on to me. I swear Prue I was gonna stop her but…she just didn’t stop and…”
“SHE DID WHAT?!!!!” She felt the blood shoot into her head. What did he just say?
“Prue I can’t believe it myself but it happened!! Your sister forced herself on me…and I couldn’t get her off of me! I mean…I couldn’t hit her, hurt her…She’s…no matter what, she’s still my baby sister…” His voice cracked.
“WELL NO LONGER MINE IF THAT IS TRUE!!!” Prue was already out of breath. How could she? How dare she touch her boyfriend? And this wasn’t just some guy in high school, this was Andy. ANDY. Her soul mate and Phoebe’s…big brother. She felt disgusted. This feeling was worse than she had felt with Roger. Even if he had lied then, this was Andy. He would never, EVER in her life lie to her, let alone accuse her sister, who was practically his sister, too, of laying a hand on him if it wasn’t true. She felt hot tears trickling down her cheeks.
“And I thought she was different now…” She mumbled into the phone.
“What did you say? Anyway, Prue. We…I think we need to talk. I don’t want this to be destroying our relationship…”
“It won’t Andy, it won’t…We can talk…tomorrow. We had a date then, anyway. And I’m sure until then I’ll be finished with my so called sister!”
“Okay Prue…but don’t forget, you love her. You’re her sister.” He sounded gentle.
“As I said…” Prue said in a low voice, “…I’m not so sure of that anymore right now.” A clicking sound ended the conversation. She felt her blood boiling. How could she, her own sister, her own flesh and blood, how could she ever betray her like that?
She couldn’t see his grin on the other end of the phone.
-----
“Can you stand up sweetie?” Piper asked gently. Phoebe then nodded and stood up, her sisters’ hands ready to catch her anytime as her body was still too weak to stand.
“Ok I think we can orb home now.” Paige said. Never releasing the tight hold around Phoebe, the oldest let her power worked and soon the sisters disappeared in blue lights.
Piper felt the slight protest of her stomach when she felt solid ground under her feet again. She quickly sat her little sister on the couch and looked at Paige.
“I’ll get Prue.” Fast steps could be heard as one middle sister left for the other.
Prue was sitting in the kitchen, her head in her hands and elbows on the table. She kept thinking of what Andy had told her. The feeling of anger that was building up inside her was getting stronger and stronger with every minute. It was then she heard voices. Familiar voices. She then realized that the one she was so mad at had to be with them. She couldn’t wait to finally release the fury. Getting up and walking out the kitchen entrance, she bumped into her little sister.
Piper wanted to call Prue but just as she sucked in a breath, she felt herself bump into someone. As she looked up, she figured that she didn’t have to call out anything anymore. In her still shocked state due to what she had to winess earlier, she failed to notice her big sister’s expression. She failed to notice the anger in her ice blue eyes.
-----
Part 8:
“Prue! Oh god, good that you’re there, you have to…” She didn’t even have to finish as Prue continued her heavy steps towards the living room where she could hear her older sister’s voice. And there she was. The person who betrayed her. With large steps, she approached the couch.
“Ok Pheebs just sit tight, Prue will be here in a second and then we can see what we can do, alright?” Paige talked to Phoebe on the couch. As if on cue, her little sister came rushing into the living room. It was then she noticed that something wasn’t right. The fast steps and her face didn’t seem to show concern or fear for her baby sister but something else. It was too late when she realized what that ‘something else’ was as she saw Prue raising her hand and the following second, a sound of flesh hitting flesh was heard.
Phoebe didn’t rally listen to what Paige was saying. But her eyes looked up as she heard loud steps coming closer. She then saw the piercing blue eyes of her sister for a split second before she felt the sharp pain on her left cheek. Even if it was only a glimpse when she caught Prue’s eyes, she could see that they were clouded, clouded with fury. Her head tilted to her right when the force of her sister’s hand pushed against her face.
“PRUE!! What the…”
“What the HELL were you doing to my boyfriend, you little slut?!!” Prue shouted right into Phoebe’s face. She couldn’t see the shock, fear, confusion and hurt in the once deep brown eyes as Phoebe flinched.
“Prue!! What do you think you’re doing!?” Paige yelled. She couldn’t believe what was going on in front of her.
“Shut up, Paige!!” Prue never turned her gaze from Phoebe. “You think I wouldn’t get to know about it, huh?! Well I’m sorry, missy but Andy was so nice and told me about EVERYTHING!!”
“Prue stop it!!!” Paige yelled again, this time roughly pushing her little sister away from the youngest. Piper was also already on the couch beside Phoebe, her arm protectively around her, trying to shield her from any more pain.
So far Phoebe had been more or less oblivious to what was happening around her. But now she looked up at Prue, her face showing utter shock. It was a natural reaction of her body that tears now trickled down her cheeks, even if she herself didn’t even realize it.
“What the hell are you talking about?!” Piper shouted, too, tightening her grip on Phoebe.
“My so called SISTER made moves on my boyfriend. And not just some boyfriend, no!! Andy!! Her BROTHER!! Don’t you feel disgusted of yourself, Phoebe!? Or does it turn you on?!” As soon as these words were out of her mouth, there was another sound of a hand hitting a cheek. This time it was Prue who felt the pain in her cheek, and Paige in her hand.
“SHE WAS RAPED PRUE!!” Paige screamed, panting but continued a little quieter. “Andy raped her…… It’s the other way round, Prue…” Paige looked right into the only blue eyes of this family.
“WHAT?!” Piper yelled. She hadn’t seen his face. But now she remembered how familiar the back of the figure over her baby sister seemed to be. ‘Oh god..’ The colour drained from her face. For the next few seconds, a dead and heavy silence filled the air. But what happened next was unpredictable. The silence was broken by a small laugh, a quiet and eerie laugh, full of sarcasm.
“Did…did she tell you that? What…that’s bullshit!!!” Prue’s face turned serious again. “Andy would NEVER do that!! You’re lying!!!”
“I’ve seen it with my own eyes!! So did Piper!”
“No…no, NO!! You’re lying!!” Prue had tears in her eyes now.
“No we’re not, Prue! As much as it hurts, this is the truth!! And you have to face it!” Piper shouted at Prue but her voice softened again as she looked at Phoebe, who was by now shaking uncontrollably, the fear and hurt evident on her face. “Look at her, Prue…..Can’t you see it?” Prue couldn’t keep her eyes on Phoebe. She turned the gaze away to the side. “No Prue…” Piper slowly pushed her hand against Prue’s face, forcing her to look. “Take a look…can’t you see the hurt there? Don’t you see it, she’s shaking, she’s scared, she…” Prue slapped Piper’s hand away from her face.
“NO! You’re all lying!! I can’t believe you, Andy practically grew up with us and…”
“GOD PRUE!! And Phoebe did not?!! Dammit she’s your sister!!!” Paige couldn’t believe it. Now she was really starting to lose it. “How can someone be so BLIND AND STUPID AS YOU ARE!!? Do you even realize you’re repeating the biggest mistake in your life?!”
“Roger was a totally different thing! This is Andy we’re talking about!!”
“Prue I haven’t seen his face but I saw his back…It WAS Andy, we’ve seen it with our own eyes.” Piper said quietly.
“This…this is ridiculous…” Prue had a sarcastic smile on her face, her voice was trembling.
“Prue…” A soft and weak voice drew all the attention to Phoebe, who spoke for the first time since they arrived home. Tears were still streaming down her face and her lips trembled. She knew it. Even without a premonition, she knew this would happen. And it hurt. “You… I thought….I thought you were…” Phoebe couldn’t finish the words ‘my sister’ anymore as the pain in her chest nearly suffocated her. She stood up and without warning, ran off, out of the house, away from her sisters, away from Prue.
“Phoebe!! Phoebe get back here!” When Paige and Piper reached the front door, Phoebe was already out of sight.
“Shit!!” Paige slammed her fist against the wall, frustration taking over her.
“Paige, we can’t leave her out there! We have to take her to hospital, she…”
“I know Piper. And we’re gonna look for her, fast, before she gets any further away.”
Prue just stood there in shock. Why did her sisters accuse Andy like that? He would never…or would he? She shook her head quickly as she realized what she was thinking. But as much as she couldn’t believe that Andy did it, it hurt to believe that her baby sister had touched him. On the phone with him she felt only anger. But now she wasn’t sure of that anymore. She wasn’t sure of anything anymore. Her sisters were talking about taking Phoebe to hospital. Was it really true? Was it that serious? She had to find out.
-----
How could Prue hurt her like that? The hot tears instantly cooled down as the wind brushed against them. Her lungs ached as did her head. But Phoebe kept running. She didn’t notice all the people’s gazes, curious as to what was wrong with the girl. It was afternoon and the sun still provided the city with incredible heat. She never registered where she was going, never registered that there was a smaller number of eyes on her as her feet took her to a park. They only stopped because the energy seemed to have run out. Through her blurry vision, Phoebe could still make out a place to sit. Her feet dragged along the sandy ground before she literally collapsed onto the wooden bench. Panting heavily, she leaned her head on the back of it. With her eyes closed, she failed to notice the movement of a figure just a few feet behind her. The ringing in her ears prevented her from hearing the fast steps. Next thing she knew was she felt somehone’s hand grab her from behind, the cloth firmly pressed against her nose and mouth causing her difficulty in breathing. The last thing she could remember was the odd smell as she had to suck in a breath before her entire world went black…
"Damn where is she?!" Paige hissed as she entered the manor again.
"We…I’m sure we just haven’t looked carefully enough. She can’t be that far." Piper said, the frustration and worry clearly audible in her voice.
"I can’t believe the police wouldn’t believe us! As if two eye witnesses aren’t enough!" Paige said in frustration as she paced up and down the living room.
"I’m sure it’s this bastard’s work. He’s still a cop, remember?" Piper’s usually soft voice was filled with hatred. They had already searched everywhere and even gone to the police but apparently they couldn’t help them without evidences and the only visible evidence was Phoebe or rather her body. And apparently she wasn’t gone long enough to be able to be reported missing. Both sisters felt the lump in their throats and the pain in their had as the feeling of worry grew inside of them.
Prue sat in her room as she didn’t want to or rather couldn’t face any of her sisters. She looked out of the window. The sky was already dark and the stars were shining. But the usual beauty wasn’t there as the day’s events filled her head. She felt sick to her stomach as the memories came back once again. But tomorrow she had to face it. She decided to meet Andy. But whatever she would find out, it would be a fatal result. It was either her baby sister she had raised or her boyfriend, her soul mate. The world was already crashed, she could only find out in what way it was crashed.
He carried the unconcious body to the couch. A smile spread across his face. At least for now he could continue to have fun. Laying her down, his eyes slowly wandered over the perfect but rather small body. His hand started to close the distance between his and her skin. But suddenly it stopped in mid-air.
"It’s more fun to have you awake, my sweet little girl…" He grinned. "Sleep well." He planted a long kiss on her lips, the unmoving body completely oblivious to what was happening as the chloroform showed its effects.
The dull pain in her head woke her. Groaning, she opened her eyes and realized where she was.
"Guess I must have fallen asleep after all…" She muttered. There was another figure slumped down with her head on the kitchen table, much the same way she had been minutes ago.
"Paige, Paige wake up." She shook her big sister gently on the upper arm, her voice still hoarse. She saw the cell still clutched in Paige’s hand. "Paige." Another try. This time her sister stirred.
"Uhh…wha..Piper? Phoebe!" Paige’s head jerked up as she remembered what they had experienced the night before and why they were still in the kitchen.
"Whoa, easy Paige. Wake up properly first." Piper then took her big sister’s cell out of her hand and looked at it. "There’s no call anyway…" Her eyes were filled with both relief and disappointment, relief for not finding a missed call from the police, possibly telling them that Phoebe had been found hurt or even worse although she didn’t dare herself to even think of it, disappointment for not finding a call from their sister herself, telling them that she was alright and would come back home right now.
"We have to go to the police once more. Phoebe’s still missing and…" Piper’s voice cut her off.
"Maybe she’s not. Maybe she came home while we were sleeping." Hope glistered in her eyes as she looked around in the house. But this was soon replaced by yet again disappointment as she found no indication of her sister being home.
"Let’s go talk to Darryl again. If he hears that Phoebe’s still missing, maybe he’ll listen to us more carefully now and believe us that Andy’s not the person he thinks he is. Even if he doesn’t, he’ll have to look for Phoebe." Paige said with conviction as she was already standing by the front door, the car keys in her hand.
"Ok. Where’s Prue? She should come, too. She should come and see the seriousness of this. She should see what she’s done to Phoebe." Piper’s voice held a touch of anger towards her other big sister.
"Piper, I think Prue’s already thinking a lot about what she said to Pheebs yesterday. When I saw her last night, I’m pretty sure there was something like doubt and remorse on her face. Besides," she then looked outside and turned to Piper again, "she’s not here anyway. Her car’s gone. Although I don’t know where she went."
The city passed by the window of her Miata. Prue had woken up earlier than her sisters. She had seen them sleeping in a certainly uncomfortable position in the kitchen before she sneaked out of the Victorian manor. The thoughts she had yesterday night were still present. She had to find out the truth. She had to talk to Andy. She would know immediately if he was lying. Her foot automatically stepped on the gas as she thought about her sister running out of the house. To take away at least her confusion, she had to go to Andy fast. Even if that could either mean losing her sister again or her confusion would be replaced by plain worry for her baby sister and anger towards Andy, incredible anger.
-----
Part 9:
Her eyes peeled open just to see rahter unfamiliar surroundings. At least less familiar than her own home. The smell of fresh paint and the sight of ripped old wallpapers were not the only things telling her where she found herself in. ‘Oh my God…This can’t be happening…’ She thought to herself and as she tried to sit upright in her panic, everything started to spin leaving her no choice than to lay back down again.
"Take it easy, little one." She jerked as she heard the deep voice, even if she should have expected it since he was the owner of this house. She could hear his feet making contact with the wooden floor as the steps came closer. The only thing she wanted to do was run away but her head was still suffering from whatever she had breathed in the day before. Then, finally, the figure stood right next to the couch, right next to where she was lying, throwing a shadow over her face, blocking her from the warm daylight, the only warmth she could receive.
"You’ve been out for a long time. I was waiting for you to wake up, you know? But it was okay," he talked while slowly stroking the girl’s hair, "because watching you sleep is somewhat nice, too. Your face hasn’t changed a bit since you were little." She shivered as the hairy back of his hand ran over her cheek. She couldn’t do anything in her dazed state, she could only suffer, her voice leaving her in her fear. He talked on smiling. "I’m pretty sure your sisters used to watch you sleep like this really often. At least Prue did. She told me." Her big sister’s name sent a sharp pain through her chest. She hoped it wouldn’t turn into a needle sticking in her heart forever, hoped that it would be pulled out soon and hoped that she wouldn’t lose too much blood in the process. Phoebe felt his hands leave her face. But instead of feeling relief, she felt her entire body freezing again as the nails loosly ran across her chest and further down between her breasts. It was now she realized that her shirt was already unbuttoned, her bra gone. She shuddered again as the nails reached her belly button. But even the physical warmth that was provided by the palm now lying flat on her stomach, she wouldn’t get any warmer. Her blurry vision, caused by the salty drops slowly running down the side of her face until they reached her ear, was of the chandelier on the roof, the chandelier she saw on the same day as everything had really started. The hand on her stomach moved on. It made its way up her body again, landing on her left breast, the fingers playing with the nipple. But soon this turned into a hard massage, squeezing her flesh mercilessly, hurting her. A soft cry escaped her lips. An evil chuckle escaped his lips. Phoebe heard Andy’s fast breaths through his nose, mixed with the noise of his belt opening. The painful motion on her upper body disappeared. But his eyes captured hers, leaving her petrified, unable to move, unable to even think of defending herself.
Prue saw the familiar streets pass by. The streets she would pass whenever she headed to her second home, to her heaven on earth, to the second place she could realax best on earth. She saw the familiar little grocery stores, the familiar curves, the traffic lights on the spot she would expect them to be. It wasn’t far anymore. Just a few streets further and she would see his roof. She accelerated.
Darryl Morris saw the door to the office burst open and two figures stepped inside. He sighed. He knew the girls. They were…used to be friends of his partner but now they were accusing him of having raped a girl, their sister. He hadn’t believed them. Andy Trudeau was a man, a policeman with honor, with dignity. Never could he imagine him hurting any innocents. Let alone rape them. It must have been a terrible missunderstanding. They had also said that Phoebe ran away but he was pretty sure she would come back to them very soon, he had believed it would happen within a couple of hours, at night if late. The young women approached his desk, the older sister putting her hands on it, looking straight into his eyes, the younger one standing behind her, her eyes on him, too. He sighed again.
"I already told you that there’s not enough evidences to charge…"
"Phoebe’s still missing." Paige immediately cut off the inspector.
"What?" Darryl frowned.
"I said our sister is still missing." Paige felt the anger rise in her and her voice showed this as it got louder with each word. She felt Piper’s calming hand on her back.
"She…she’s not back yet? Are you sure?" His frown was still plastered on his face.
"Am I sure?" Paige couldn’t believe what she was asked. "You ask me if I am sure?! YES, I AM! She’s still out there, somewhere without her home, without her sisters! Just because you refused to look for her yesterday! You refused to help us!!" Paige more or less shouted in his ear.
"Paige." Piper gently placed her hand around her big sister’s upper arm in order to calm her down. She herself was angry and wanted to do exactly the same, shouting, but knew it would lead to nothing right now. And she felt like she had no time.
"As I said yesterday, the person has to be missing for at least 24 hours. I can’t do anything. I’m sorry." He looked down at his hands.
"I…I can’t believe you." Paige shook her head in, as she said, disbelief. "She’s hurt! Not only does she need medical attention for the physical damage, she needs attention to her emotional damage as well. And that would mean she needs us!! You have to do something, if you don’t…if anything, and I mean ANYTHING happens to her…it’s partially your fault. Could you live with that?" Paige’s voice was lower again in the end as her eyes locked with those of the man. Darryl knew that legally, he wouldn’t be of any guilt. But his stomach, his heart protested. Reluctantly, he opened his mouth, trying to find his thoughts before letting out any words. He looked away for a second but then looked at the sisters again, this time more determined.
Her heart felt like it would explode any second. It was strange because she somehow felt herself getting used to this eerie feeling. She heard another pants being opened and pulled down. Her own. She saw his head going down, his _expression looking like a little boy’s happy face when discovering something new, but then again, the innocence was missing. A wet feeling between her legs showed her in just what kind of situation she found herself in. This time, he let his tongue play, nearly making her thow up right there. But then, as she looked down, she saw the top of his head, his black, short hair as he was completely engrossed in the taste of her body. She looked to her side. A bottle of water caught her eyes. A now empty bottle made out of glass. Something in her head clicked and her hand that used to lie limp next to her side found the strength to slowly lift itself up. The distance between the bottle and her hand was getting shorter and shorter until the tip of her middle finger finally touched the cold material, making her eyes flicker in hope. With all strength she had, she reached further to grab the bottle. Indeed, all fingers were now touching it. She was about to close her hand, enveloping the little weapon. What happened next should have been expected. The empty thing lost its balance on the little table as her fingers pushed it closer to her palm. With a loud noise, the bottle fell down, rolling further to the edge of the table but ironically stopping right there without falling to the floor. She gasped loudly without noticing it herself. Then she looked down to Andy….right into his angry eyes staring back at her. She gasped again as he suddenly jumped up. She couldn’t do anything as she saw the big fist flying towards her. The expected pain shot through her entire head as his knuckles made contact with her cheek and her jaw, cutting her lip in the process.
"You bitch!! Thought that you could knock me out with a stupid bottle, huh!? Try that again and you can be sure that you won’t see your sisters in this life anymore!!" He shouted right into her face, looking right into her tear filled eyes. Suddenly, he stopped. His head jerked up. He had heard what she hadn’t. A car. A car pulling up to his driveway. For the first time, Phoebe saw a hint of fear on his ever so confident face.
Prue saw the street. Her destination. His house. She didn’t even indicate as the tires screeched and the black car turned right, heading towards Andy Trudeau’s house. Again, the tires screeched loudly as Prue pulled over. She looked out of her window to see his front door. His car was still there. He was at home.
"Shit!" Andy hissed as he glanced out of the window. He had a perfect view to the front side from where he was and saw what was now happening to him, or rather who was now visiting him. "Get up!" He hissed again, this time looking at Phoebe, roughly pulling her by her upper arm making her flinch in pain. He then dragged her to another door. Phoebe knew where this door led to.
"Andy what are you doing? Please, you have to stop this…" She sobbed.
"Shut up, bitch!! And don’t you dare make a single noise down there! Got it!?" Phoebe could only nod weakly as he pushed her into the dark room, the basement. She lost her balance and litlerally fell down the few steps. Pain shot through her entire body but it was fading quickly as she felt her world getting even darker as it already was.
Andy saw Phoebe’s body go limp and he knew she would stay quiet for a while. He was relieved since the door could not be locked and there was always a risk of her trying to run away or at least be seen by the person who was about to enter his house. The doorbell rang.
"I’m coming!" He shouted towards the door as he quickly checked up if he was properly clothed and headed to the front. What he didn’t check up was the couch Phoebe had been lying on earlier and the few signs that were left there, indicating that something out of order had been going on in that room. The doorbell rang again.
"I’m here already." He said, opening the door. He faked an _expression on seeing the person standing before him. "Prue? What are you doing here?"
Prue just looked at his face, searching any sign of a rapist. But as expected, it was hard, too hard to do it if that person was her own boyfriend. So she merely sucked in a breath to get herself ready to talk.
"Andy, we have to talk. Now." She said more firmly than she herself had expected.
"Ok. Come in." He stepped aside for his girlfriend to enter. Prue didn’t wait for him to say anything else. She walked into his still not done up living room and sat down on the middle part of the couch.
"I’ll get you something to drink, ok?" Andy then left for the kitchen, leaving Prue no chance to say anything. Prue wanted to stop him and come right to her point but then she decided to leave him. She herself needed some time to adjust to the situation now. But then she started to wonder why he was at home at all. It was a normal day for him, even she should be at work now. Why wasn’t he at the station? Sighing, she shrugged it off. She had more important things to do. She looked out of the window where she could see her own car. But soon her gaze fell down, attracted by something that shouldn’t be on people’s couches normally. Stains. Red stains. Prue frowned. There on the side of the couch she could see something that looked pretty much like…like blood. She stretched out her hand to touch the spot. Her hand was instantly pulled back as she felt the wetness. It was still fresh.

Part 10:
“What…?” She mumbled to herself in confusion as she reached out and picked up the tiny object. She had it on her palm as she looked at it closely. It was a button of a blouse. A light blue one. And it didn’t look like it would belong to a man’s shirt. The frown didn’t disappear. An image then flashed into her mind. Phoebe. She remembered her little sister sitting in the living room yesterday. And she remembered her top. It was a light blue summer shirt. ‘Oh man Prue, you’re neing paranoid, this must be a coincidence…but what if…?’ She didn’t have the time to think more as she spotted the red liquid, a single drop on the wooden floor in front of the couch. Her eyes shot open as she saw another one. Standing up quietly and making sure that Andy was still in the kitchen, she walked to the next second drop. It was like a trace for there was a third. Prue felt her heart beat faster and faster. Her eyes didn’t leave the floor until she realized she was standing in front of the basement door. Slowly, her hand made its way to grab the doorknob. She could see it shaking before the fingers felt the coldness of the material. With a creak, the door was pushed open. The light of the living room shone into the dark basement. What it revealed made Prue gasp in sheer shock.
“Phoebe.” She managed out upon seeing her baby sister lying out cold by the end of the steps. Next thing she heard was fast steps behind her. Before she could react and turn around, she felt sharp pain on the side of her head and her vision blurred until everything went black…
Andy had prepared the drink for Prue and himself in the kitchen. It was a good way to take the time to find the answers to possible questions his girlfriend had. When he was finished, he was about to step back into the living room but as he saw the empty couch, he felt fear rising in him. He started to run, the drinks still in his hand. It was then he spotted her by the basement door, seemingly paralyzed by what she was seeing. He sensed she was about to turn around but his hands were faster. With the thick glass, he stroke the side of her head, making the contence fall to the floor together with the shattered tiny pieces of glass, together with the limp body of his girlfriend.
“Sorry Prue, but you’ve seen something you weren’t supposed to see.” He said, still panting. Then he crouched down to drag the motionless body down the steps. He didn’t even bother to tie them up as he ran up the steps again. He slid down to the floor, leaning on the basement door. He didn’t know how long he sat there thinking about if this was the right decision or not. But something inside told him that it was okay. He could have fun with two now, couldn’t he?
Darryl sighed again. He knew this wasn’t his job but Paige had been right. He couldn’t just leave Phoebe out there. He believed them that she needed help. Now he believed them that she was raped. Just not by Andy. Since officially Phoebe was missing for less than 24 hours, there was nothing else he could do except for searching himself. But so far they were left without success.
“Ok this is leading to nothing, I’m telling you.” Darryl sighed exasperated as he put his car in gear again.
“No Darryl, we have to look more carefully. She has to be here somewhere.” Paige who sat in the front urged.
“Maybe I can get Trudeau to help us.” He regretted his own words as soon as he heard Piper screaming into his ear.
“WHAT?!! Are you completely NUTS?! He was the one who caused this! He…”
“Wait Piper. Maybe that’s it…Maybe….Oh my God. What if Andy did something to her? What if she’s with him?” Paige looked fearfully at her little sister as Piper just quieted down.
“Look, I still don’t think it was him you saw, it must have been a…”
“No it was Andy!! And I trust my eyes enough, otherwise I wouldn’t accuse him like this.” Paige answered. “I mean why wasn’t he at work today?”
“He might just be sick. Though he didn’t call but…” Darryl was cut off again.
“See. Maybe that’s where we really have to start looking. At least we have to confront him.
You’ll see if he’s lying or not….That must be where Prue went earlier today, too.” Piper concluded.
“Yeah maybe. Ok, Andy’s house then. Let’s hurry.” Paige said more to Darryl than to Piper as she turned around again to face the front window.
A rough hand pulled her to her feet again. She felt her entire body ache and her face twisted in great agony. The room was darker than usual rooms at daytime. But then she remembered why. A new wave of panic hit her as she saw another body lying next to her. Even in the dim light she could clearly make out who the owner of this body was.
“Oh my God. Prue!” She rushed to her fallen big sister, her worry making her forget the anger and hurt she used to feel by thinking of Prue. Slowly, she turned her sister around on the back. It was then she saw the gash on the side of her forehead and the blood trickling down the side of her face. Gasping, she felt for a pulse and was relieved to fing a strong one. But her feelings were tensed up again as soon as she heard the door creak open. She could only make out the profile of a person since he was standing in front of the light that shone into the basement but it was already perfectly clear who the figure was. Phoebe was petrified as Andy slowly approached her. He grinned as his hands made contact with her body again.
“Y…you hurt her…” Phoebe stuttered out weakly. Her sister was everything she could think of right now. Andy let out a small chuckle.
“Yeah… She was a bad girl. You know you shouldn’t look around other people’s houses, right?” He said running his hand under Phoebe’s shirt again.
“J…Just d..don’t hurt her anymore…” Phoebe’s chin trembled as she managed to talk despite her fear.
“Don’t worry baby. I don’t play with unconsciouss girls…” He then kissed her roughly on the lips. It was starting again.
“Ok here we are. You guys wait here, ok?” Darryl said to the sisters.
“Oh no, no way. We’re coming with you.” Piper answered with determination, making the inspector sigh and nod his head reluctantly. They stepped out of the car and made their way up the front steps. Paige’s finger found the doorbell.
She felt the sharp pain stinging in the side of her head. Groaning, she forced her eyes open despite the spinning room. It was then she noticed the room was pretty dark and cold. Suddenly, the events earlier this day entered her mind. She shot her eyes open as rage started to grow in her. Her sisters had been right. Andy wasn’t the kind of person she believed he was. It was him who had betrayed her, hurt her, hurt her sister. ‘Phoebe!’ Suddenly she remembered her baby sister lying on the ground unconsciouss. Despite the dizziness, her head jerked up as she scanned the room. It was then she saw it. Even in the dark she could see it. Two figures breathing heavily, the first in joy and errection, the secong in fear. Prue felt sick to her stomach. She didn’t even hear the doorbell ring anymore. She didn’t see the black of the dark anymore, she only saw red. Andy’s hands on Phoebe as his lips were given no more chance to move further as Prue’s rage triggered something she didn’t have before. His body went flying across the room onto the concrete wall.
Andy didn’t know what was happening around him. He knew he had heard the doorbell ring. He knew he had thought he wouldn’t let anyone bother him in his game right now. So he just went on exploring the young body captured in his grip. But what came next couldn’t and wouldn’t be explained by anything. He hadn’t seen his girlfriend’s eyes witnessing what he was doing to her baby sister. An invisible force, that was probably the most matching words he could find, pushed him so hard he was thrown across the room, making him smash against the wall. A cry of agonizing pain was let out.
Phoebe only registered that the hands and lips were gone. It all went too fast for her but when she saw her big sister who had been unconsciouss all the time now running past her towards the fallen figure of a guilty man, she knew what must have happened.
“Prue…” She called out, her voice still shaking but the oldest seemed to hear nothing at the moment. Phoebe saw that she was somewhere nobody could reach her.
Prue saw Andy’s body smash against the wall. But this was by far not enough. The burning rage in her pulled her up and made her run after the now groaning figure huddled on the cold floor. Reaching him, she grabbed him by the collar and once again, this time with her own, natural power, pushed him against the wall. She pushed him hard, once, twice, three times.
“YOU BASTARD!!! HOW COULD YOU!!! HOW DARE YOU HURT MY SISTER YOU SICK ASSHOLE!!!” She then slammed her fist on his face. Again, once, twice, three times. Again and again. She felt something in her hand breaking but she didn’t care. Her right fist hit his face over and over agin. “TAKE THIS YOU JERK!! FEEL HER PAIN! FEEL MY PAIN!!!” Prue’s hands couldn’t be stopped. Neither by the already deformed face of her ex-boyfriend, nor by the silent cries of her little sister who didn’t know what to do anymore.
Paige wanted to push the button of the doorbell again. But her finger stopped when they heard a loud cry of pain along with a thud.
“What the hell was that?” She turned to the two standing behind her.
“That sounded like Trudeau.” It was all Darryl could say before they heard more cries. This time it was filled with anger, filled with rage and indescribable hate.
“Prue…” Both sisters let out. That was ebough for the cop to hear. He kicked the door and slammed his body against it until it broke open. The three of them ran to the source of the voices, it was definitely the basement. The voice got louder as they opened the door. Everyone gasped at the sight that was displayed before them as Prue was beating the already unconsciouss Andy, at least what they believed was Andy since the face didn’t show it anymore. In another corner, a scared girl they had missed for nearly a whole day was pulling the knees to her chin, covering her head and ears with her arms, shaking in fear.
Part 11:
They reacted quickly. Everyone managed to split up as Piper rushed to the more than terrified Phoebe while Paige and Darryl took care of Prue and Andy.
“Phoebe! Oh God are you ok?! We’re here now honey, everything’s gonna be alright.” Piper said as she pulled the shocked girl into her arms, holding her tight in order to stop the shaking. She still heard the horrifying voice of her older sister in the background.
“YOU..” Prue hit him with her fist once, “WON’T...” twice, “HURT…” three times, “MY SISTER…” four times, “EVER AGAIN!!!” Before she could land the last strike on him, she felt strong arms holding onto her own arm, pulling her away from her target.
“Prue stop it!!!! You’ll kill him!!” Paige shouted as she held onto her little sister with Darryl’s help.
“SO WHAT, THAT’S WHAT HE DESERVES FOR HURTING MY BABY!!!!” She screamed as she struggled hard against the tight hold.
“No Prue!!! He’s gonna be punished, I promise but don’t let him make your hands dirty, too!!! Darryl call 911 before it’s too late! I got her!!” She shouted at the policeman until he let go of her little sister and checked up on his colleague before pulling out his cell. Paige still had Prue fighting against her arms as she screamed at her to let her go. With all her might, Paige threw her little sister to the ground and before she could get up, Prue found herself in Paige’s strong arms as they locked themselves in front of her stomach from behind, trapping her arms in her hold.
“PRUE SHHHH!!! Sshhhh!! It’s ok now, it’s over!! Calm down! You’ve hurt him enough, it’s enough. You don’t want to kill him, you don’t. Everything will be fine, Phoebe will be okay, I promise.” Her shouting turned into a soft voice as she felt Prue starting to lose her strength and relaxed more in her arms. “That’s it sweetie, calm down. Sshhh you’re alright….it’s alright…” Prue was still panting but she felt every part of her body relax in her older sister’s tight but warm grip. By the time she regained her normal breaths, tears welled up in her eyes.
“P..Paige I…He…” She choked on the lump in her throat.
“Yeah I know honey, I know. It’s ok now. Don’t get upset any more than this sweetie. Don’t get angry any more. Look you’re hurt, too, you can’t keep hitting him now.” Paige said softly as she carefully took Prue’s right wrist in order to look at her injured hand. She didn’t know whose blood it was on Prue but she guessed that most of it was Andy’s. But then she glanced at the other corner in the basement. “Besides, there’s someone that needs your care more than any other person in this room.” Paige said, looking at the two figures of her youngest sisters, the older one still holding the youngest. Paige felt Prue’s head jerking up.
“Phoebe…” She mumbled out and with Paige’s help, stood on her feet again. “Phoebe!” Prue ran across the basement to her youngest sister. She was still sobbing in Piper’s arms as she reached them.
Piper rocked her shaking sister back and forth but she didn’t seem to calm down. It was then she spotted her older sister crouching down next to them. She let her take the youngest sibling into her weakened arms. Phoebe felt another person now trying to hold her. The same person that had hurt her so much yesterday but the same person that had made her silent wish come true just now as she made him feel her pain, as she took revenge. But this had actually terrified her. She wasn’t shaking this much because of his rough hands, his dirty touch. It was partially, and probably for a great part, her big sister’s outburst, her rage, her hate. She flinched as Prue pulled her into her arms. Her breaths were getting faster again. Prue didn’t fail to notice this.
“Phoebe it’s ok honey, it’s alright. I’m not going to hurt you, sweetie.” As much as it hurt to see her baby sister scared of her, she knew it was all her own fault. “I’m so sorry baby, so sorry! I’m sorry I didn’t believe you, I was so stupid to do the same mistake again. I’m sorry Phoebe.” Prue was now crying, too. Phoebe heard her big sister’s voice softening until it even cracked. Suddenly she forgot whatever she had felt towards her in the past days as she only wanted to be held by the strong warm arms that used to always be there for her whenever she was upset.
“Prue…Prue!” Her arms made their way around Prue’s neck as she pushed her face into her older sister’s chest, finally letting out every single tear that was left as huge sobs wrecked her body.
“Sshhh baby, I got you now. Big sis is here, I’m here, everything will be fine.” Prue merely rocked her crying baby in her arms, patting and rubbing her back to calm her. “It’s ok sweetie, you’re ok now. Yeah, let it out. Just let it all out. I’m not going anywhere.” The other sisters and Darryl just watched with sympathy as the youngest wailed in her older sister’s arms. Soon, Paige and Piper couldn’t take it anymore as they wrapped their arms around Phoebe and Prue, giving them all strength they needed, all love they needed.
In the background, sirens of the ambulance and police cars were heard. After a few minutes, Andy Trudeau’s house was filled with cops and paramedics, rushing in and out of the basement. Andy’s body was already on its way to hospital as a few paramedics approached the sisters. Phoebe had calmed down a little more as she was only sniffing although now and then a fresh tear escaped her, even if it was instantly wiped away by Prue’s left hand. The men sensed the air around the two and tried to examine both of them without seperating them too much. Meanwhile Piper, Paige and Darryl were investigated by several police officers, much to the sisters’ dismay as they wanted to be there for Phoebe and Prue. Darryl was now also convinced that Andy must have raped Phoebe, not only because her sisters were so convinced of her being a living evidence with her body but also because he now saw the hurt in each Halliwell’s eyes. Prue and Phoebe were both taken to hospital in the ambulance while Paige and Piper followed them in Darryl’s car.
Later at the hospital they were told that Prue was fine except for some broken bones in her right hand, a wound that needed stitches on her forehead and a mild concussion. Then they knew about Phoebe. Even if this was expected, it was hard to hear it out loud by a doctor again. ‘Your sister has been raped.’ The words rang through their minds, especially in Prue’s since it mixed with the incredible guilt she was feeling.
Fortunately they found enough tracks Andy had left on their little sister’s clothes and body so it was evidence enough for him to be locked up in jail. And it sent a wave of relief through the sisters as they heard that Phoebe showed no signs of being pregnant.
Prue only received caution for beating Andy to an extent he wouldn’t have the same face as before since she only acted in the heat of the moment and her actions were not premeditated.
The sisters had found a councellor to deal with their situation. Phoebe first had refused to go to see a doctor but realizing it was helping her as she tried it first only to please her sisters, she kept on going. Prue was always dragged along with her. Phoebe wanted her to be there and besides, she had to cope with her guilt and anger as well.
A month passed by. Paige and Piper were upstairs getting ready for bed before they went to the living room to watch a movie with Prue and Phoebe. The latter two were already huddled up on the couch covered with the blankets as Phoebe had her head in her older sister’s lap before their other sisters would come and claim a spot on the couch as well. Prue gently combed her baby sister’s soft brown hair with her fingers as she looked lovingly down, her ice blue eyes meeting the chocolate brown, innocent orbs of the youngest.
“Phoebe…I’m sorry.” This was becoming a routine for the two of them as Prue apologized again. And somehow, it always ended up in tears. Phoebe then sat up and pushed herself closer to Prue so that their noses were touching as Phoebe held her palms on the side of Prue’s head, pressing her forehead against that of her older sister. They kept their eyes locked as Phoebe spoke in a firm but at the same time very gentle tone.
“Prue. I’m going to say this for one last time now. Once and for all. It’s ok. I forgive you. I’m not mad at you and I’m not hurt anymore. I forgive you.” She then smiled, triggering another smile of her sister. “I love you so much Prue. I don’t know if I could have gone through this or if I would be here in the first place if it wasn’t for your support you gave me in the past month. It was your love that kept me going, that made me wake up in the mornings to brace a new day, that put me to sleep at night when I should have been scared of nightmares haunting me. You’re my sister, Prue and…and…” Her voice cracked two tears trickled down her soft cheeks. She felt Prue’s gentle hand wipe them away and her gentle lips touching her forehead. More tears were falling now as they pulled each other in a tight embrace, sucking in the warmth and love they needed so much.
“I love you, too, Phoebe. So much. I promise I’ll never, ever let anything or anyone hurt you anymore, baby. Never.” She kissed Phoebe’s hair as she held the back of her head.
“Mind if we join you?” Piper’s voice was heard and when they looked up, they saw their two sisters approaching them with a smile. Prue and Phoebe just opened their arms to welcome their most important treasure in their life.
“I love you all, you know that?” Paige said, holding her arms around her three little sisters.
“I’ll second that.” Piper chimed in.
“Third.” Phoebe’s shaky voice was added.
“Oh man I never thought I’d actually say and hear this so many times in a row but I love you, too.” Prue said with a chuckle even if her voice cracked. “We’ll always protect each other, no matter what happens. We’ll get through this as well. Won’t we?” Prue asked in the room, the last part more addressed to Phoebe than anyone. She coud feel her head nodding on her shoulder as she also heard the small sob escaping. But that was it, it didn’t lead to a crying fit because Phoebe knew where she was. Perfectly safe in the warm arms of her sisters.
End.
